The present invention relates to a method for determining the door position in a door system which has a rail for guiding a movable door element and a sensor element (10) for detecting a free movement path of the door element (50), the method comprising the steps of: detecting the state of the at least one sensor element (10), which can either be free of the door element (50) or covered by the door element (50), such that, in the event of a change in the state of the sensor element (10), the arrangement position of the sensor element (10) corresponds to the door element (50), and a door control lines the door position with the aid of this information.

A monitoring apparatus acquires a camera image that results from a camera image-capturing the vicinity of a door of a car using an external camera, from a camera. A processor of the monitoring apparatus detects the door from the camera image, sets a determination area based on a position of the detected door, acquires an image of the determination area from the camera image, determines whether or not a foreign substance inserted into the door is present, based on the image of the determination area, and performs report outputting to a monitor and a reporting apparatus according to a result of the determination.

The present disclosure concerns a safety strip for a door, in particular for a door of a means of transport. The safety strip is elastic and/or flexible, has at least one receiving space, and comprises a sensor arrangement.
