CORNER CONNECTOR FOR INSULATING GLAZING UNITS WITH AN ELECTRICAL SUPPLY LINE
A corner connector for connecting two hollow profile spacers of insulating glazing units, includes a first leg and a second leg, which are connected to one another via a corner region, and a first electrical supply line, wherein the first leg and the second leg enclose an angle , where 45<<120, the first leg, the second leg, and the corner region are formed in one piece, at least the corner region surrounds the first electrical supply line, and the first electrical supply line protrudes out of the corner region.
Fenestration trim assembly
A corner key for a fenestration trim assembly includes a sloped bearing surface configured to bias a first lineal toward a second lineal about the longitudinal axis of the second lineal.
Corner key with drainage pathway
An assembly for a door or window frame including an elongated sill and a corner key attached to each end of the sill, where the corner keys each support a bottom end of a jamb. Each corner key includes a jamb-facing surface, a drain surface, and a sill-facing surface, the sill-facing surface extending between the jamb-facing surface and the drain surface. The corner key includes a chamber for collecting water therein and a drain port having an opening formed along the drain surface of the corner key, the drain port being in communication with the chamber for directing the water from the chamber out of the corner key.
GLAZING ASSEMBLIES WITH INTEGRATED PHOTOVOLTAIC STRUCTURE AND SPACER STRUCTURES FOR SUCH GLAZING ASSEMBLIES
Glazing assembly are described comprising at least a first (inner) glass pane, a second (outer) glass pane and at least one peripheral spacer structure for providing a predetermined separation between the first and second glass pane, the peripheral spacer structure being positioned at the peripheral area of the first and second glass pane; one or more photovoltaic (PV) cell modules mounted on at least part of the peripheral spacer structure, the one or more PV cell modules being positioned in the space defined by the first and second glass panes and the peripheral spacer structure (inter-pane space); wherein at least part of the peripheral spacer structure comprises one or more mounting members adapted to orient a light receiving surface of PV cells of the PV cell modules in a tilted position with respect to the plane of the second (outer) glass pane.
FRAME ASSEMBLY WITH REINFORCED CORNER STRUCTURE
A kit for a frame assembly is disclosed. The kit comprises a first frame member, a second frame member, and a first and second counterpart of a corner connector. The first and second counterparts are co-operatively configured for connecting to obtain the corner connector. The first counterpart, the second counterpart, the first frame member, and the second frame member are co-operatively configured for assembly to define the frame assembly. The first frame member is coupled to the second frame member via the obtained corner connector. The corner connector is connected to the first frame member along a first side of the first frame member and is also connected along a second side of the first frame member, and the corner connector is connected to the second frame member along a first side of the second frame member and is also connected along a second side of the second frame member.
Window trim system
A first section is in facing contact with an exterior surface of a building. A second section is bent to extend exteriorly from the exterior surface at 90 degrees from the first section. A third section is bent at 90 degrees from the second section. A fourth section is bent at 180 degrees from the third section. A portion of the fourth section is in facing contact with the third section. A fifth section extends laterally and interiorly from the fourth section at an acute angle. A sixth section extends laterally from the fifth section parallel with the first and third and fourth sections. A seventh section is bent to extend interiorly at 90 degrees from the sixth section.
Garage Door Window
This invention is directed toward a window for a garage door panel, where the window has an interior frame and an exterior frame. Both the interior and exterior frame have straight members that are secured to each other through the parts of the garage door that surround the opening with screws and screw receptacles. Connecting the frame members are corner braces, than come in a variety of designs, with some being invisible after installation and others forming a decorative corner to the window.
Pane unit and method used to produce and/or supply such a pane unit
Disclosed is a pane unit (10), which comprises a frame structure (12) formed from a plurality of profiles (14), at least two outer panes (16, 16), and at least one middle pane (18). The panes are each connected or attached to the frame structure (12). The pane unit (10) moreover comprises at least one functional element (20) used for the illumination of the at least one middle pane (18), which functional element (20) is inserted into at least one chamber (24) provided in the profiles (14). The plurality of profiles (14) are coupled with each other by at least one connection element (28), wherein the at least one connection element (28) engages with the profiles (14) in such a manner that the pane unit (10) is hermetically sealed.
TWO-PIECE DOOR AND INSTALLATION SYSTEM
A two-piece door kit comprises frame members comprising two or more components that can be connected with one or more connectors, a bottom panel that can be movably attached to the frame members, a top panel that can be movably attached to the frame members. Prior to assembly, the two-piece door kit may be packaged compactly in a carton in which the total of the carton length plus twice the carton width plus twice the carton thickness is less than or equal to 165 inches.
Secure corner assembly for high-strength windows
Windows and secure corner assemblies are generally described. The windows may include a sash having stiles arranged on vertical sides thereof and rails arranged on horizontal sides thereof. Primary reinforcement members may be arranged within the stiles. Secure corner assemblies may be configured to be arranged within corners of the sash formed by intersections of the stiles and the rails. The secure corner assemblies may include at least one secondary reinforcement member arranged on an external surface of one of the rails, such as a top rail. A tilt mechanism may be configured to be coupled to a primary reinforcement member and the at least one secondary reinforcement member, thereby providing a continuous reinforcement connection around the window sash. Vinyl windows using corner assemblies according to some embodiments may have increased pressure ratings compared to vinyl windows that do not include such corner assemblies.
