Sign post assembly with impact absorbing mechanism
A sign post assembly includes a core assembly. The core assembly includes an impact absorbing mechanism and an elongated post. The impact absorbing mechanism includes an anchoring plate including a through hole, and a first elastic impact absorber. The elongated post has a proximal end and a distal end. A flange is disposed at the distal end of the post and rests on a top surface of the first elastic impact absorber with the post extending through the through hole in anchoring plate. A dimension of an outer surface of the post is less than a dimension of an inner surface of the through hole and the flange has a peripheral shape that prevents the flange from passing through the through hole.
Post sleeve assembly
A post sleeve provides a substantially permanent base for supporting a post for a fence or sign, and from which one post can be removed and replaced with another post. The sleeve includes a concrete body that is poured on site, using a sleeve core prepositioned in the post hole, and around which wet concrete is poured. After the concrete is cured, the core is removed, leaving a post sleeve cavity configured to receive a post. The core can be rigid, or can include a flexible shell and stiffener. A preformed post sleeve top can be attached to the sleeve core and positioned therewith in the post hole, to become a permanent part of the post sleeve, once the concrete cures. A drain is attached to the core, and remains in the sleeve when the core is removed, and can be a percolation chamber, or passage extending below the sleeve.

A safety fence support device with flexibility may be provided. More particularly, a safety fence support device with flexibility may be provided which is simply installed on a safety fence used in various sports facilities, e.g., a baseball field, an ice hockey rink, a ski slope, etc., causes the safety fence to be tilted backward even when players playing a game or people enjoying the sports in the sports facilities collide with the safety fence at various angles, thereby preventing injury by mitigating impact applied to a human body through the safety fence, and is used in various sports facilities regardless of the kind of the safety fence by controlling the degree of flexibility for mitigating the impact in accordance with the impact strength.
Self-righting flexible delineator with protective collar
A delineator system includes an anchor having an end portion and a post extending along a longitudinal direction and having an end portion overlapping with the end portion of the anchor. The overlapping end portions are coupled together with an engagement member. A protective collar is moveable relative to the post and the anchor along the longitudinal direction from a non-installed position to an installed position. The protective collar is disposed over and covers the overlapping end portions and the engagement member when in the installed position. Methods of manufacturing and installing a post, and other delineator systems and delineator posts are also provided.

A road guide post includes: a supporter which is fixed to the ground by being coupled to an anchor bolt; a guide post body which has a post shape that is screw-coupled to or fitted into the supporter; reflective sheets, multiple layers of which are attached to the concave groove part of the guide post body; and a bracket which is inserted and fixed into the bottom surface of the supporter.
Impact-resistant and energy-absorbing item of street furniture
The invention relates to an impact-resistant and energy-absorbing item of street furniture comprising only a post, a base plate and an energy-absorbing element, wherein the post and the base plate are shaped in such a manner that, when the post is loaded by an external force F just above the base plate, an obliquely, downwardly directed sliding movement of the post relative to the base plate is obtained, which is damped by the energy-absorbing element, not only in the lengthwise direction n of the street furniture, but also in the direction perpendicular to that lengthwise direction.
INDICATOR POST
An indicator post comprising an elongate sheet of stainless steel is disclosed. The elongate sheet is configured to be resiliency bendable to enable the indicator post to revert upright after an application of a bending force. In other examples, the stainless steel indicator post may be semi-flexible or rigid.
Flexible coupling
The invention relates to a flexible coupling comprising a lower assembly (10) having a spigot member (20), and an upper assembly (60) having a recess adapted to receive the spigot member, thereby allowing articulation of the upper assembly (60) with respect to the lower assembly (10) in any direction. A complementary indexing means is adapted to circumferentially align the lower assembly (10) and the upper assembly (60), and a single resilient member (65) interconnects the lower and upper assemblies, wherein the lower and upper assemblies are urged into mutual engagement against said articulation.
Post assembly with impact absorbing core mechanism
A post assembly has a longitudinal axis extending from a proximal end to a distal end and includes a hollow outer shell, an anchoring sub-assembly disposed at the proximal end for securing the post assembly to a surface, a core assembly disposed within the hollow outer shell. The core assembly includes a core tube, a rigid rod having a lower end mechanically coupled to the anchoring sub-assembly and extending along the longitudinal axis to an upper end, and an elastic member disposed around the upper end of the rigid rod, the elastic member configured to transfer forces incident on the hollow outer shell through the elastic member to the anchoring sub-assembly via the rigid rod.

Resiliently impactable control masts and related methods are disclosed. An example control panel includes a post to support a control box for the control panel. The example control panel also includes a deflection system including: an anchor to support the post, the anchor couplable to a platform; a shaft to extend upward from the anchor along a length of the post; and a shock absorbing body adjacent the shaft, the shock absorbing body to absorb at least some of an impact with the control panel.
