RESILIENTLY IMPACTABLE BOLLARD SYSTEMS
Resiliently impactable bollard systems are disclosed. An example bollard includes a shaft having a flange positioned on an outer surface of the shaft, the flange extending away from the outer surface, a first portion of the shaft extending in a first direction away from the flange and a second portion of the shaft extending in a second direction away from the flange, the second direction different from the first direction, an anchor to be positioned at an end of the shaft, and a first shock absorbing body to be positioned between a first face of the flange and a mounting surface on which the bollard is to be mounted, the first shock absorbing body to contact at least a portion of the first portion of the shaft.
RESILIENTLY IMPACTABLE BARRIER SYSTEMS
Resiliently impactable barrier systems are disclosed. An example a barrier system comprises a shaft having a first end and a second end opposite the first end, an anchor to be positioned at the first end of the shaft, the anchor having an opening, the second end of the shaft to extend through the opening, the second end of the shaft to extend away from the anchor, a cup coupled to the second end of the shaft, the cup spaced apart from the anchor along a longitudinal axis of the shaft, and a shock absorbing body to engage with the shaft, the shock absorbing body enclosed by the anchor.
Systems and methods for deploying emergency roadside signaling devices
Systems and methods for deploying emergency roadside signaling devices are disclosed. In one aspect, a control system for an object placing device of an autonomous vehicle includes a processor, and a computer-readable memory in communication with the processor and having stored thereon computer-executable instructions to cause the processor to: receive a signal comprising instructions to activate the object placing device; and provide instructions to the object placing device to place a plurality of signaling devices in accordance with predetermined criteria.
Stanchion or post with a spring-loaded assembly
A socket mounted post system including a post with a hollow base portion attached to a spring mechanism. The spring mechanism includes a pillar, the pillar having a finger extending from the hollow base portion. The finger is engageable with a socket that is mountable in a floor. The spring mechanism allows the post to flex angularly relative to a vertical orientation of the post.
Self righting marker post
A hollow marker post and a resilient member located therein wherein the resilient member is statically dependent of the hollow marker post with the marker post and the resilient member dynamically dependent of each other to facilitate the return of the marker post to an upright condition when the marker post is impacted by an external force.
Delineator post having restoration function
A delineator post with a restoration function includes a base panel, a delineator body fixed to the base panel and a tubular elastic band connecting the base panel and the delineator body. The delineator body has a disposition space formed therein. The tubular elastic band extends from the base panel to the top of the delineator body through the disposition space. The delineator post further includes a restoration rod having an upper portion inserted into the disposition space of the delineator body and capable of restoring the delineator body. In this configuration, when the delineator post is tilted by an external force caused by a vehicle or laid down by being trampled by a tire of a vehicle, the delineator post may restore its original shape by the above configuration of the restoration rod.
Portable marker device
A support device for a hollow traffic marker utilizing a base having a foot positioned at the ground surface. A boss extends from the base. A flexible sleeve positions over the outer surface of the boss, the hollow traffic marker lies within the flexible sleeve. A gap within the flexible sleeve separates the first and second spacers.
High speed high performance delineator system
A traffic delineator system having a flexible delineator body member, a base member, a cylindrical load-collar attached to the body member at a first end and having a second end with rigid tapering threaded shoulder members to be releasably interlocked within a receiving space in the base member. The collar has tapering side walls with a varying thickness from a first end to a second end.
SAFETY FENCE SUPPORT DEVICE WITH FLEXIBILITY
A safety fence support device with flexibility may be provided. More particularly, a safety fence support device with flexibility may be provided which is simply installed on a safety fence used in various sports facilities, e.g., a baseball field, an ice hockey rink, a ski slope, etc., causes the safety fence to be tilted backward even when players playing a game or people enjoying the sports in the sports facilities collide with the safety fence at various angles, thereby preventing injury by mitigating impact applied to a human body through the safety fence, and is used in various sports facilities regardless of the kind of the safety fence by controlling the degree of flexibility for mitigating the impact in accordance with the impact strength.
