A bag constructed of a weed suppression material for packaging a ground cover material. When the bag is in a closed configuration, the bag serves as a container for shipping, handling, and storage of the ground cover material. When the bag is opened and unfolded, and the ground cover material within the bag is spread over the opened and unfolded bag, the bag serves as a layer of weed suppression material on top of underlying soil and beneath the ground cover. In addition, the bag may be used for planting individual plants in a planting bed, for establishing a buffer zone around the foundation of a building, or for controlling erosion around a downspout of a building.

The hinged chute and connector for a downspout is a device that is adapted to attach to a bottom end of a downspout. Moreover, the hinged chute is pivotably engaged with respect to the connector. The connector is affixed to the bottom end of the downspout. The hinged chute is able to rotate down when in use, and rotate up when not in use. A strap is used to encircle both the downspout and the hinged chute in an up position when the hinged chute is not in use. The hinged chute pivots with respect to the connector via a rod and a wing nut. The hinged chute is able to rotate down to an in-use position when rainwater is delivered via the downspout.

A gutter downspout extension, extruded from a medium to high density silicone rubber material for diverting water from a foundation of a structure. The silicone rubber material has a sufficient density to resist abrasion or cutting by filament line weed trimmers. The silicone rubber material has sufficient elasticity to allow the end of the downspout extension to be stretched over the end of a gutter downspout.

An apparatus for modulating flow from a downspout is provided. The apparatus comprises a first layer that is releasably connectible proximal to a point of egress from the downspout, the first layer having a first opening and defining an internal plenum, and wherein the apparatus is configured to modulate at least a portion of the flow while receivably passing the flow therethrough.

The present application relates to an extendable drainpipe assembly, which comprises a pipe body and a first pipe connector, the first pipe connector comprises at least a first connecting structure, and the pipe body comprises at least a second connecting structure and at least a fold, the first connecting structure is mountably and removably connected to the second connecting structure, the fold have two sidewalls set opposite each other, the fold is expandable through the two side walls capable of unfolding into a threaded shape.

A rainwater conveyance system for managing water flowing through a conveyance line having a first portion located above ground and a second portion located underground and adjacent to a percolation region. The rainwater conveyance system comprises a drain emitter comprising an emitter inlet and an emitter outlet. The emitter inlet is connected to the conveyance line such that the collected water flows into the drain emitter and a drained portion of the collected water flows from the second portion of the conveyance line and through the emitter outlet at a preset emitter flow rate. The drain emitter is arranged such that the drained portion of the standing water flows to the percolation region. The preset emitter flow rate is predetermined such that the drained portion of the collected water flows out of the conveyance line and percolates through the percolation region.

A liquid flow diverter (130) for a downpipe (120) includes a body (132). The body (132) includes a channel profile (136) between a first end (131) and a second end (133). The channel profile (136) includes a helix shape and allows flow of a liquid therein. The body (132) further includes a liquid outlet (139) associated with the first end (131). The liquid outlet (139) allows fluid communication of the liquid flow diverter (130) with the downpipe (120). The liquid flow diverter (130) is characterized in that the body (132) is made of a partly rigid material with the helix shaped channel profile (136) having a lead (L) of at least a height (H) of the channel profile (136) at its first end (131).

Disclosed is an extendable drainpipe assembly, which comprises a pipe body and a first adapter connected to one end of the pipe body; wherein the first adapter comprises a hollow first adapter seat and a first pipe connector connected to the first adapter seat, the first pipe connector comprises at least a first connecting structure, the pipe body comprises at least a second fold corresponding to the first connecting structure, and the first connecting structure is mountably and removably connected to the second fold.

A rainwater diverter apparatus for use on a downspout is provided. The rainwater diverter apparatus comprises a housing body that includes: an inlet, a primary outlet that is formed in a first bottom section of the housing body and a water-receiving reservoir that is formed within a second bottom section of the housing body that is separate from the first bottom section. The rainwater diverter apparatus also includes a water deflector, which in some embodiments is removably mountable within the housing body. The water deflector can be positioned in either a first deflection position for deflecting rainwater towards the primary outlet and a second deflection position for deflecting rainwater towards the water-receiving reservoir. An underside of the water deflector includes a deflecting lip that is shaped such that the movement of rainwater up the underside of the water deflector is inhibited.

A downspout nozzle and self-mounting and locking escutcheon plate for directing stormwater away from a building including a spout which mounts to a drainpipe and an escutcheon plate which can be secured to the downspout nozzle without requiring contact with the wall, or use of hardware, adhesives or bonding agents. Further, the escutcheon plate can be secured at any point along the length of the downspout nozzle, and can be adjusted or removed post installation without requiring adjusting or removal of the downspout nozzle. The method of installing this system involves providing the system, cutting the drainpipe to a desired length, fixing the spout onto the drainpipe, and pushing the plate onto the spout until it is substantially flush against the wall.
