The keeper is pivotally mounted to the housing, and is pivotable about a longitudinal axis between a closed position and an open position. The actuator is operable to selectively retain the keeper in the closed position. Each ramp member is operable to be mounted to the housing and includes a corresponding and respective channel. The plurality of ramp members includes a first ramp member and a second ramp member. With the first ramp member mounted to the housing, the channel of the first ramp member has a first longitudinal position relative to the housing. With the second ramp member mounted to the housing, the channel of the second ramp member has a second longitudinal position relative to the housing. The second longitudinal position is different from the first longitudinal position.

An adjustable door lock includes a catch plate having a body and a plurality of flanges positioned on an exterior face of the body such that a corresponding gap is formed between the body and each of the flanges, respectively. Advantageously, a catch having a channel is adjustably connected to the catch plate wherein the catch is selectively interfitted through at least of one of the gaps. A door plate is disposed adjacent to the catch plate and adapted to be secured to the door. A locking bolt is in communication with the door plate and linearly reciprocated along a first linear path passing along the door plate and the channel. Notably, the catch is automatically adjusted along a second linear path orthogonally registered relative to the first linear path such that the linear channel automatically becomes axially aligned with the locking bolt as the locking bolt ingresses and egresses the catch.

A device and method for a strike plate for a door frame member and/or door assembly is shown and described. The invention may be considered a strike plate assembly and, in other embodiments, a lock strike plate with an adjustable aperture. The strike plate may fit within a mortise pocket on a door member of a door frame. The invention may include an adjustable base plate and a top plate. In some examples, the strike plate may include a first horizontally extended linear opening and a second horizontally extended linear opening. The strike plate assembly may be selectively positionable within the mortise pocket to facilitate lateral adjustability of an interior space within an interior aperture by movement of at least a portion of the strike plate laterally.

The strike plate is provided with a fastening hole on each end. The fastening hole has a sidewall extending above the plane of the strike plate with a clip bar at a position able to fit into a corresponding slot in the elongate groove. The clip bar joints the corresponding slot to facilitate alignment adjustability.
