Window regulator
A window regulator includes: a carrier piece attached to a window glass; a drive wire connected to the carrier piece to lift and lower the carrier piece; and a wire end connected to the drive wire. The carrier piece has a groove into which the drive wire is inserted, and a housing in which the wire end is housed. The housing has a bottom wall which the wire end engages, a first end wall communicating with the groove, a second end wall opposite the first end wall, an opening on a top side of the carrier piece into which the wire end is insertable, and a top wall. The walls restrict detachment of the wire end from the housing.
Window regulator
A window regulator includes: a carrier piece attached to a window glass; a drive wire connected to the carrier piece and configured to lift and lower the carrier piece; and a wire end connected to an end portion of the drive wire. The carrier piece has a wire end housing portion configured to house the wire end, a wire insertion groove communicating with the wire end housing portion, and a wire retaining portion extending at an upper end of the wire insertion groove. The drive wire is routed in the wire insertion groove. An upper side of the wire insertion groove includes an opening which opens in an upper direction crossing a routing direction of the drive wire. The wire retaining portion prevents the drive wire from coming out of the wire insertion groove by contacting the drive wire.
DRIVE UNIT ASSEMBLY FOR A WINDOW REGULATOR
A window regulator for a motor vehicle includes a drive unit assembly with a module plate. The drive unit for the window regulator includes a cable drum housing with a cable drum and a motor assembly. The cable drum housing includes a stepped annular ring extended from the cable drum housing and a snap-fit post protruded from each of the stepped annular ring for engaging with the module plate. The cable drum housing is positioned on a receiving site of the module plate, and the stepped annular ring and the snap-fit post is coupled with a locating site on the receiving site. Each locating site includes a circular bead for engaging with the stepped annular ring of the cable drum housing.
ADJUSTABLE SLIDER FOR WINDOW REGULATOR
Adjustable slider may include a first jaw, an engagement member, and an adjustment mechanism. The first jaw may extend in a first direction and include a first face. The first face may include a ramped surface that may extend obliquely with respect to the first direction. The engagement member may be configured to be disposed between the window pane and the first jaw. The adjustment mechanism may include an adjustment member that may be configured to rotate about a first rotational axis. The adjustment mechanism may also include a translatable member that may be coupled to the engagement member and configured to translate about the first rotational axis such that rotation of the adjustment member moves the engagement member along the ramped surface of the first jaw.
Window lift system and motor vehicle door
A window lift system including a first guide rail including a first stop, a second guide rail which has a second stop in an upper end region, a first slider guided on the first guide rail, a second slider guided on the second guide rail, cable drum, and a drive cable driven by means of the cable drum and coupled to the sliders and extending through a Bowden cable sheath between the upper end region of the second guide rail and a lower end region of the first guide rail. The sliders are movable by the drive cable along the guide rails into a stop position in which the second slider lies against the second stop and the first slider is spaced apart from the first stop by a predefined distance ranging between 0.4 percent and 1.2 percent of the length of the Bowden cable sheath.
RAIL ADJUSTER SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR WINDOW REGULATOR SYSTEMS
A rail adjuster for mounting a rail of a window regulator assembly to an adjacent fixed surface of a closure panel of a vehicle, the rail adjuster comprising: a mount body for mounting to the rail, the mount body defining an adjustment axis; an adjustment body coupled to the mount body and also for mounting to the adjacent fixed surface; and an adjuster portion positioned between the adjacent fixed surface and the adjustment body, the adjuster portion providing said coupled by passing through an aperture of the adjustment body in order to engage with the mount body; wherein operation of the adjuster portion causes a change in an initial length of the rail adjuster to an adjusted length by moving the mount body relative to the adjustment body along the adjustment axis.
Window regulator
A window regulator includes a guide rail fixed to a vehicle door panel and a slider base that supports a window glass and is slidably supported in a longitudinal direction of the guide rail along sliding surfaces on a front and a back of the guide rail. The guide rail includes a sliding portion that has a first sliding surface and a second sliding surface that face one direction and another direction in a vehicle inner-outer direction. The slider base includes a grease injection portion that includes an injection space and a grease receiving portion. The injection space opens to the vehicle inner-outer direction. The first sliding surface of the guide rail is positioned inside the injection space. The grease receiving portion is positioned opposed to the second sliding surface of the guide rail. The grease receiving portion receives a grease injected in the injection space.
LIGHTWEIGHT LIFTER PLATE ASSEMBLY FOR VEHICLE WINDOW
A lifter plate assembly for a window of a motor vehicle has a plastic main body. The main body includes a pair of rail guide hooks formed therein. The rail guide hooks are laterally spaced from one another and configured for sliding receipt of window regulator rails therein. A window clamp plate formed of the main body plastic extends in spaced relation from the main body to provide a receptacle configured for receipt of an edge of the window. A fastener assembly includes an elongate threaded member and a nut. The elongate threaded member extends through an opening in the main body and through an opening in the window clamp plate. At least one of the elongate threaded member and the nut is rotatable relative to the other to draw the window clamp plate and the main body toward one another to clamp against the edge of the window.
Rail module with cable conduits for window regulator systems
An integrated module as a window regulator assembly including: a carrier panel for mounting to a frame of a vehicle closure panel; at least one rail on the carrier panel, the rail associated with at least one cable guide in conjunction with a regulator carriage, the regulator carriage for coupling to a window of the closure panel; a drive mechanism on the carrier panel, the drive mechanism for operating the regulator carriage along a track of the rail; a cable assembly coupling the regulator carriage to the drive mechanism via the cable guide, the cable assembly including a conduit connected at one end to the rail and connected at another end to the drive mechanism, the conduit containing a cable element slideably received within the conduit; wherein the cable element is unsheathed from the conduit where the cable element is in contact with the cable guide.
AUTOMOTIVE DOOR MODULE FOR WINDOW REGULATOR AND METHOD OF MAKING SAME
A vehicle door assembly includes a door module and a door panel. The door module has a back plate with a periphery bearing attachment orifices defining a base plane. At least one guide rail extends in a rail direction in a rail plane offset from the base plane and has a connected edge and a free edge. The connected edge is attached to the back plate, and the free edge is shaped for slidably attaching a carrier plate for a window. The guide rail vertically protrudes beyond the periphery of the back platen. A void in the rail plane intersects a trajectory of the connected edge. The void provides access through the rail plane to the periphery of the back plate, wherein an attachment orifice is disposed in the void. The door panel has a central hole and attachment openings aligned with the attachment orifices of the door module.
