Pre-Framed Collapsible In Wall Gate
A collapsible gate may provide a temporary barrier to prevent movement between rooms, or to prevent access to a staircase, in a home or commercial building. A pre-framed collapsible gate may be secured to and supported by a framing system for installation within a wall, wherein the collapsible gate is adapted for storage within the framing system when not in use. The pre-framed collapsible gate may be vertically retractable and adapted to stow within a framing system installed within a wall and out of sight. The collapsible gate may include a counterbalance to maintain the gate within the framing system when the gate is in the fully open position, and to assist in opening the gate when the gate is lifted from a closed position.
Sectional door with lifting mechanism
A sectional door comprising a plurality of panels which can be stacked on top of each other in a stacked state, and next to each other in a stored state; a drive system with a cable or chain for moving the bottom panel in the height direction; upright rails for guiding the panels in the stacked state; guides (or guide assembly) for guiding the panels in the stored state comprising a worm wheel with helical groove for guiding the panels in the storage room; wherein the drive system further comprises a lifting mechanism for removing the upper panel from the stack, and for transferring it to the storage zone.
Doorway Gate System
A doorway gate system for resisting being chewed by an animal includes a barrier that has a pair of gates and a lock. The gates are slidably coupled together such that the barrier is extendable to a selected width. In this way each of the gates is selectively extended across a doorway thereby inhibiting an animal from passing through the doorway. The lock retains each of the gates at the selected width. A protective coating is positioned on the barrier and the protective coating completely covers the barrier. The protective coating is comprised of a resiliently compressible material to resist is chewed by the animal thereby enhancing a service life of the barrier.
Slat device
A slat device (1) comprising a plurality of slats (2) arranged parallel to one another, displacement means (9, 10) for displacing the slats (2) between and in a stacking zone and a sliding, and a guide profile (3), which is arranged on a lateral side of the slats (2), wherein a slat (2), on the said lateral side, is provided with a guide element (5), corresponding with the guide profile (3), for guiding the respective slat (2) relative to the corresponding guide profile (3, 6) during its displacement motion between and in the stacking zone and the sliding zone, such that the guide element (5) is rotatable over a certain angle relative to the guide profile (3) about an axis according to the longitudinal direction of the guide profile (3).
GARAGE DOOR SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Provided are door systems having a plurality of door panels and a frame, the door panels being movable between an extended position closing an opening in a building structure, and a folded retracted position. When in the extended position, the door panels interlock with each other forming a barrier to wind, dirt, dust and insects. The frame is movably attached to the building structure and when the door panels are in the extended position, the frame moves and engages the door panels with a sealing member to provide an airtight seal of the opening in the building structure.
Automatic Auto-Sensing Flood Protection Roller Shutter with Auto-Locating Reinforced Column
An automatic auto-sensing flood protection roller shutter with auto-locating reinforced column includes a door plate composed of a plurality of door panels, at least one reinforced column automatically movable by a motor to a reinforcing position behind the door plate when the door plate is lowered upon sensing a flood, and a bolt and bolt driving device for securing the at least one reinforced column in the reinforcing position.
CUPBOARD DOOR BALANCE SYSTEM
A balance system used with a door of a cupboard comprises a transmission shaft, a first pulley on the transmission shaft, and a balance component. The first pulley is connected to a door belt, one end of the door belt is secured to the first pulley, and the other end of the belt is connected to the door. The balance component comprises a balancing member, a balancing belt and a second pulley on the transmission shaft. One end of the balancing belt is connected to the second pulley, and the other end of the balancing belt is connected to the balancing member, such that the balancing member is hung on the second pulley. The first pulley and the second pulley rotate synchronously, and the door belt and the balancing belt are wound oppositely. With the balance system, a small driving force can open/close the door.
Single-Track stacking panel covering for an architectural opening
A stacking panel covering for an architectural opening includes a headrail and a plurality of suspended from the headrail. The panels form an overlapped stack at one end of the headrail when the stacking panel covering is opened, and cover the architectural opening when the stacking panel covering is closed. The panels are piggybacked on those adjacent thereto, so that they stack, one behind the next, when the stacking panel covering is opened, and so that each pulls the next adjacent thereto as the stacking panel covering is being closed. The panels themselves may be planar, or convexly curved in a horizontal direction and substantially straight in a vertical direction.
Window conduction heat shielding apparatus
A window conduction heat shielding apparatus capable of shielding heat conducted from the outdoors in the summer season and efficiently conducting heat to the outdoors in the winter season in a window of a computer room, thereby reducing a load of air conditioning is provided. A window conduction heat shielding apparatus 7 that shields heat conducted from an outdoor surface to an indoor surface of a window 3 of a computer room 1 includes: a heat shielding unit 17 that has a heat insulating material 8 formed according to a size of the window 3 and a fixing base 9 provided on an indoor surface of the heat insulating material 8; support bars 10a and 10b provided in both side parts of the fixing base 9; and base guides 16 that are provided in both side parts of a window frame 5 and have guide grooves 12 to 15 to guide the heat shielding unit 17 via the support bar 10a and 10b from a storage part 11 below the window to the indoor surface of the window 3 or from the indoor surface of the window 3 to the storage part 11.
