Vaporizer
Vaporizer and/or electronic cigarette chargers useful for the recharging of rechargeable vaporizer or electronic cigarette power supplies such as batteries, compatible vaporizers and/or electronic cigarettes, their components, charging contacts, methods of their use and kits containing such chargers are disclosed.
Vaporiser insert for an inhaler, in particular an electronic cigarette product, vaporiser-tank unit, and an electronic cigarette product
A vaporiser insert for an electronic cigarette product comprises at least one electrical vaporiser for vaporising fluid supplied to the vaporiser and for supplying the vaporised fluid to an airflow, a main part having a lateral face which surrounds an airflow duct through which the airflow can flow, at least one fluid opening for supplying vaporisable fluid from the outside into the vaporiser insert and to the vaporiser being arranged on the lateral face of the main part. The vaporiser insert comprises a support for retaining the vaporiser, and the support comprises a passage opening that corresponds to the fluid opening in order to supply fluid to the vaporiser.
NEBULIZER ASSEMBLY AND AIRFLOW-GUIDING COMPONENT THEREOF
A nebulizer assembly and an airflow-guiding component thereof are provided. The airflow-guiding component includes an air-guiding part and a structural matching part. The air-guiding part includes a first hollow tube body, a second hollow tube body, and an air-guiding structure connected between the first hollow tube body and the second hollow tube body. The structural matching part is connected to the first hollow tube body. The air-guiding structure has a plurality of rear main air-introducing channels surrounding the first hollow tube body, and each of the plurality of rear main air-introducing channels has a rear main air-introducing opening perpendicular or inclined to the structural matching part. Therefore, external air outside the airflow-guiding component can be guided into the rear air-guiding channel through the plurality of rear main air-introducing channels.
Left Atrial Appendage Stasis Reduction
Methods and devices that prevent stasis in the LAA by either increasing the flow through the LAA or by closing off or sealing the LAA. Increasing the flow is accomplished through shunts, flow diverters, agitators, or by increasing the size of the ostium. Closing off the LAA is accomplished using seals or by cinching the LAA.
Phyto material tablet, method and apparatus
Phyto material tablets, tablet vaporizers, methods and apparatus for forming phyto material tablets. The tablets are formed to increase vaporization efficiency. Tablets can include break regions to facilitate fracturing into multiple pieces for vaporization. The tablets can also include multiple layers of different phyto material mixtures. Compression molds are used to shape the tablets. The compression molds can be provided on a rotational assembly to facilitate rapid manufacturing of multiple tablets. The vaporizers include heating chambers that are configured to increase the surface area of the tablets exposed for vaporization. The heating chambers include compression or fracture members that compress and/or encourage fracturing of the tablets to assist vaporization.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR AN ULTRASONICALLY DRIVEN ANESTHETIC VAPORIZER
Methods and systems are provided for delivering anesthetic agent to a patient. In one embodiment, an anesthetic vaporizer includes a sump configured to hold a liquid anesthetic agent; an ultrasonic transducer coupled to a bottom of the sump and at least partially disposed within the sump; a vaporizing chamber fluidically coupled to the sump; and a heating element coupled to the vaporizing chamber and configured to increase a temperature of a surface disposed within the vaporizing chamber.
Dry powder drug delivery system and methods
A pulmonary drug delivery system is disclosed, including a breath-powered, dry powder inhaler, with or without a cartridge for delivering a dry powder formulation. The inhaler and cartridge can be provided with a drug delivery formulation comprising, for example, a diketopiperazine and an active ingredient, including, small organic molecules, peptides and proteins, including, hormones such as insulin and glucagon-like peptide 1 for the treatment of disease and disorders, for example, diseases and disorders, including endocrine disease such as diabetes and/or obesity.
HUMIDIFICATION DEVICE AND RESPIRATORY ASSISTANCE DEVICE
A humidification device that includes a case containing a humidification space in which water vapor is introduced to a feed gas to be fed to a user. heating unit configured to acquire electric energy using an electromagnetic induction phenomenon to generate heat is disposed in the humidification space. The humidification device further includes a coil configured to transfer energy to the heating unit by the electromagnetic induction phenomenon, an insulating unit configured to spatially separate the heating unit and the coil to prevent electrical contact therebetween and a liquid supply unit configured to supply, to the heating unit, a liquid to be vaporized into the water vapor. This provides a humidification device that can be made smaller in size and lighter in weight, and that can quickly and sufficiently humidify a gas without heating an entire body of water to be stored, as well as a respiratory assistance device.
APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR DELIVERY OF CELL SUSPENSION
Apparatus and methods for monitoring and delivering a cell suspension. In certain examples, the apparatus comprises a reservoir containing the cell suspension, a cannula, and a liquid transfer mechanism configured to transfer the cell suspension from the reservoir to the cannula. The apparatus can also comprise an agitation mechanism to agitate the cell suspension, and a monitoring device to quantify a concentration of cells transferred from the reservoir to the cannula.
Oxygenator of organic fluids
The oxygenator of organic fluids comprises: a container body having a longitudinal axis; a first inlet opening for the oxygen and a second outlet opening for an exhaust gas obtained in the container body; a third inlet opening for an organic fluid to be oxygenated and a fourth outlet opening for oxygenated organic fluid obtained in the container body; an oxygenation chamber of the fluid to be oxygenated that is defined inside the container body; a distribution pre-chamber of the fluid to be oxygenated fitted between the third inlet opening and the oxygenation chamber; a mass of capillary fibers that are impermeable to liquids and porous to gasses, designed to be lapped by the organic fluid and arranged inside the oxygenation chamber according with a common parallel direction; dynamic distribution means supported in the distribution pre-chamber by support means.
