SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING DISTRIBUTION PATTERN OF CENTRIFUGAL FERTILIZER SPREADERS
A spreader with a material divider that is adjustable to change a stream of material which flows in an arbitrary manner to the centrifugal disk(s) described to achieve a desired symmetrical or asymmetrical spread pattern.
HIGH OUTPUT PRECISION SPINNER
Method for a centrifugal spreader to precisely spread particulate material across an entire field with increased application rate, swath width and driving speed by utilizing a tiered disk spinner arrangement fed by a conveyor and guided by a material divider and an adjustable chute moveable in rotation around the spinner disk to achieve a desired symmetrical or asymmetrical spread pattern.
CHEST-MOUNTED SPREADER
A chest-mounted spreader system includes a hopper for receiving particulate material and a base assembly mounted to the hopper. The base assembly has a base unit having a base plate and rotatable shaft. An electric motor is coupled to the shaft to drive rotation of the shaft. An impeller is mounted on the shaft proximate the base plate. A shroud has a partial sidewall affixed to the base plate thereby defining an impeller cavity. The impeller cavity includes a discharge opening opposite the partial sidewall and the impeller is received within the impeller cavity. A shroud opening is in fluid communication with the hopper so that particulate matter passes from the hopper to the impeller. The electric motor is powered to rotate the shaft and the impeller to disperse the particulate matter through the discharge opening.
Method for regulating the throwing behavior of a centrifugal spreader for fertilizer
The invention relates to a method for regulating the throwing behavior of a centrifugal spreader for fertilizer and to a centrifugal spreader configured therefor. According thereto, a target throwing distance is determined for a target working width. Furthermore, one of several rotational speed levels is selected for at least one spreading disc to approximate the actual throwing distance to the target throwing distance. Finally, an adapted target throwing angle for regulating an actual throwing angle is determined from the actual throwing distance (WW1) and counteracts in a compensatory manner a deviation from the target working width caused be the difference between the actual throwing distance and the target throwing distance. Continuous regulation of the throwing distance then becomes unnecessary, resulting in more stable regulation of the overall throwing behavior.
Power system for a work vehicle
A working machine includes: a first generator having: a rotor to be rotated by power from a PTO shaft; a rotor coil provided to the rotor; and a stator coil to generate electricity when magnetizing current is applied to the rotor coil; a working device to be operated by the electricity generated by the first generator; and a converter device to convert surplus electricity not consumed by the working device into the magnetizing current to be applied to the rotor coil.
METHOD FOR SPREADING SPREADING MATERIAL ONTO AGRICULTURAL LAND
The invention relates to a method for spreading spreading material onto agricultural land (12) by way of an agricultural spreader (10), with the steps of: providing information on spreading boundaries (14) of agricultural land (12) to an electronic control device and moving the agricultural spreader (10) in the direction of a predetermined activation point in the vicinity of a spreading boundary (14) of the agricultural land (12) at which the start of dispensing spreading material onto at least one spreading disk is intended, where, while the dispensing of the spreading material is interrupted, the electronic control device automatically induces an anticipatory setting for a start configuration predetermined for the activation point at the agricultural spreader (10) before the agricultural spreader (10) reaches the activation point.
SELF-PROPELLED OUTDOOR TOOL BASES AND ASSEMBLIES
Self-propelled outdoor tool bases and assemblies are provided. A self-propelled outdoor tool assembly includes one or more tools and a drive system. A tool may be a transportation tool such as a spreader hopper. An assembly may include a base, and the tool may be removably connectable to the base. The assembly may include a toolless connection between the tool and the base.
Method and Apparatus Used for Biological Control of Agricultural Pests
An apparatus for biological control of agricultural pests and for reducing damage to crops. The apparatus includes a container for holding biological organisms or material. The container also includes first and second ends and an opening formed at the first end for receiving the biological organisms. The apparatus has a dispensing port disposed at the second end for dispensing the biological organisms over a target location. The apparatus further includes an auger, driven by a motor and having a plurality of spiral like wire brushes, said auger mounted to and driven by a first motor; a spreader motor mount having a motor mount holding area for holding a second motor, the spreader motor mount having a motor mount connection area for connecting to the second end; and a spreader agitating device used for spreading the biological organisms or material over the target location.
Distribution machine
A distribution machine, in the form of a spreader or a seed drill, includes a container carried by a support frame for receiving pulverent or particulate material to be distributed. An outlet opening is arranged on a floor of the container. A metering member is arranged downstream of the outlet opening. A ground distribution member is arranged downstream of the metering member. A displaceable part, such as a metering slide of the metering member or a device, adjusts the delivery point of the material to be distributed onto the distribution member. The displaceable part is operatively connected to, and actuated by, an output shaft of an electromotive rotary drive, a servomotor or a transmission output shaft of a transmission, arranged downstream of the electromotive rotary drive such that the exclusively rotational movement of the output shaft or of the transmission output shaft is transmissible to the displaceable part.
