MOBILE CLIMATE CONTROL ASSEMBLY AND METHOD OF USE
A mobile climate control assembly that includes a portable housing with a first fan blower-wheel assembly and a second fan blower assembly each respectively having a wheel blade member, partially surrounded by an air deflector wall, disposed within a housing cavity and operably configured to rotate 360° around an axis of rotation parallel and non-co-planar with respect to one another. The assembly also includes a fan motor operably coupled to the wheel blade members and an electronic controller electronically and communicatively coupled to the fan motor and operably configured to independently and selectively control rotation of the wheel member of each of the first and second fan blower-wheel assemblies to generate an ambient air velocity gradient along at least an approximate 90° angular traverse path from the front face and without rotation of the portable housing.
Automated fan adjustment system
A computing device has a fan housing that includes a dual rotor fan with a first rotor and a second rotor. The computing device also includes a controller communicatively coupled to the dual rotor fan. The controller is operable to detect a failure associated with the first rotor. In response to detecting the failure, the controller is operable to drive the second rotor at a higher speed than a fan-speed at which the second rotor was being driven before the failure.
Built-In Air Pump Assembly
A pump assembly is provided for use with an inflatable product. The inflatable product has a chamber having an air inlet and an air outlet. The pump assembly has a pump unit that is positioned inside the chamber for inflating and deflating the chamber, the pump unit having at least one motor that is operatively coupled to a first blower and a second blower, with the first blower fluidly coupled to the air inlet and the second blower fluidly coupled to the air outlet. The chamber is inflated by intake of air through the air inlet to the first blower and then into the chamber, and the chamber is deflated by drawing air from the chamber to the second blower and then out of the chamber through the air outlet.
Method for controlling fans and a group of fans
A method for controlling a fan group in order to generate a predefined total volumetric flow. The group of fans has a plurality of individual fans operated in parallel. Each generates an individual volumetric flow. The group of fans is divided into at least a first and a second control group. Each group has at least one fan. The individual volumetric flow of at least one fan of the first control group is increased by adjusting into a range of optimum efficiency by a speed change. This maintains constant flow. The individual volumetric flow of at least one fan of the second control group is reduced accordingly by a rotational speed reduction. All the fans contribute to the total volume flow at all times and no fan of the second control group will be switched off at any time.
MULTIPLE CHAMBER VACUUM EXHAUST SYSTEM
A vacuum exhaust system includes a plurality of low pressure vacuum pumps that operate in a molecular flow region and evacuate a plurality of vacuum chambers. A plurality of chamber valves are positioned between the low pressure vacuum pumps and the plurality of vacuum chambers. A plurality of branch channels are each connected to a corresponding exhaust of the plurality of low pressure vacuum pumps and a main channel is formed from a confluence of the branch channels. An intermediate vacuum pump is connected to the main channel and operates in a viscous flow region. A higher pressure vacuum pump operates in a higher pressure viscous flow region and is connected to an exhaust of the intermediate pressure vacuum pump. A plurality of bypass channels, each having a valve, provide a fluid communication path between at least some of the plurality of vacuum chambers and a higher pressure vacuum pump.
INTERSTAGE CAPACITY CONTROL VALVE WITH SIDE STREAM FLOW DISTRIBUTION AND FLOW REGULATION FOR MULTI-STAGE CENTRIFUGAL COMPRESSORS
Centrifugal compressors can incorporate a side stream flow of intermediate pressure vapor between stages of that compressor. The side stream flow can be controlled by a side stream injection port controlled by a capacity control valve that has a curved surface facing a flow of refrigerant from the first stage to the second stage. The capacity control valve can allow or obstruct flow through the side stream injection port. The capacity control valve can extend and retract in a direction substantially perpendicular to the direction of flow from the first stage impeller to the second stage impeller. The side stream injection port and the capacity control valve can be ring-shaped. The side stream injection port and the capacity control valve can allow at least some of the side stream to be introduced on a side of the capacity control valve opposite the curved surface.
Method for controlling a compressor installation
A method for controlling a compressor system comprising a plurality of compressors, wherein the compressor system is intended to maintain a predefined excess pressure in a pressurized fluid system, wherein decisions are met at fixed or variable intervals as to switching operations for adapting the system to current conditions, wherein—in a pre-selecting step, switching alternatives are excluded from the plurality of combinatorially available switching alternatives, —in a main selecting step, remaining switching alternatives are weighed against one another while referring to one or more optimization criterion (criteria) and optimum switching alternatives are selected from among the given criteria, and—in a control step, the selected switching alternative is output for implementation in the compressor system.
MULTI-PRESSURE INTEGRATED AIR PUMP
A high and low-pressure integrated air pump includes a single housing including an air inlet and an air outlet. A high-pressure pump is disposed within the housing and in fluid communication with the air inlet, and uses a first outlet passage to discharge to the air outlet. A low-pressure pump is also disposed within the housing and in fluid communication with the air inlet, and uses a second outlet passage to discharge to the air outlet.
BLOWER AND FILTER DEVICE
A blower includes an air introduction box, a casing, an impeller, a filter medium, a frame body, a first partition plate and a second partition plate. The filter medium captures a foreign matter contained in a first air and a second air flowing from the air introduction box to the impeller. The frame body houses the filter medium and is installed in a filter installation portion upstream of the impeller. The first partition plate is fixed to the frame body and divides a space upstream of the filter medium into a plurality of regions. The second partition plate is fixed to the frame body and divides a space downstream of the filter medium into a plurality of regions. The filter medium is interposed between the first partition plate and the second partition plate.
