Systems and methods for performing transcranial ultrasound therapeutic and imaging procedures
Systems and methods are provided for performing transcranial diagnostic procedures using a transcranial ultrasound transducer array. The array elements are positioned and oriented such that far field regions respectively associated therewith spatially overlap within the brain of a patient. The array elements may be oriented approximately normal to the skull, permitting efficient coupling of ultrasound energy into the brain. The array elements are controlled to generate ultrasound pulses, where the timing of the pulses is controlled, based on registration between the array elements and volumetric image data, such that ultrasound energy is focused at a target within spatially overlapping far fields of the array elements. The transcranial ultrasound transducer array elements may be positioned and oriented relative to the skull such that their respective ultrasound beams are focused within the skull and diverging with the brain.
DEVICES AND METHODS FOR MULTI-FOCUS ULTRASOUND THERAPY
Embodiments of a dermatological cosmetic treatment and imaging system and method can include use of transducer to simultaneously or substantially simultaneously produce multiple cosmetic treatment zones in tissue. The system can include a hand wand, a removable transducer module, a control module, and/or graphical user interface. In some embodiments, the cosmetic treatment system may be used in cosmetic procedures, including brow lifts, fat reduction, sweat reduction, and treatment of the dcolletage. Skin tightening, lifting and amelioration of wrinkles and stretch marks are provided.
Multi-focusing device for each ultrasonic depth including micro-machined ultrasonic transducer array and method of operating same
Disclosed are a multi-focusing device for each ultrasonic depth including a micro-machined ultrasonic transducer array and a method of operating the same. The multi-focusing device includes a micro-machined ultrasonic transducer (MUT) array arranged in an annular form and formed of a plurality of vibration elements that apply a low or high frequency corresponding to an application depth inside the skin, wherein the MUT array includes an upper electrode parallel connection line configured for each channel of the vibration element, and a lower electrode connection line arranged in a longitudinal direction.
Systems and methods for measuring elasticity with imaging of ultrasound multi-focus shearwaves in multiple dimensions
Embodiments of a dermatological cosmetic treatment and/or imaging system and method adapted to alter placement and position of multiple (e.g., two or more) cosmetic treatment zones in tissue from ultrasound beams from a transducer, simultaneous multi-focus therapy at multiple depths, and/or dithering ultrasound beams from a transducer to alter placement and position of multiple cosmetic treatment zones in tissue. The system can include a hand wand, a removable transducer module, and a control module. In some embodiments, the cosmetic treatment system may be used in various cosmetic procedures.

METHODS OF TREATMENT FOR ANOREXIA NERVOSA
A method is provided for treating neurogenic anorexia nervosa in a subject in need thereof, using a magnetic resonance guided focused ultrasound treatment system. The method comprises applying high-intensity focused ultrasound energy to multiple treatment target points on the bilateral anterior limbs of the left and right internal capsules of the subject to regulate the bilateral anterior limbs of the subject; and inducing normalization of weight in the subject.
Ultrasonic therapeutic system, method for controlling ultrasonic therapeutic system and ultrasonic therapeutic apparatus
Disclosed are an ultrasonic therapeutic system, a control method thereof and an ultrasonic therapeutic apparatus, and relates to the field of ultrasonic therapy. The ultrasonic therapeutic system includes a linear-type handpiece and a point-type handpiece, and the control method includes the following steps: controlling at least one of a linear-type handpiece and a point-type handpiece to apply ultrasonic energy inside a treatment area; the linear-type handpiece is configured to apply multiple focuses of the ultrasonic energy in line at one shot, being capable of discretely moving at a preset interval along a skin surface of the treatment area; and the point-type handpiece is configured to apply one focus of the ultrasonic energy at one shot, being capable of continuously sliding and overlapping for a preset time along the skin surface of the treatment area.
SKIN TREATMENT APPARATUS INCLUDING DRUG METERING AND TRANSPORT DEVICE AND SKIN SUCTION FUNCTION
This invention relates to a medical skin treatment device, comprising a control unit for controlling the operation of the skin treatment device, a power supply unit for supplying power to the medical skin treatment device, and a main body including a drug storage unit for storing medication to be injected into the patient's skin, a transport unit for moving the main body, a handpiece that receives power from the power supply unit of the main body, is controlled by the control unit, and injects the drug into the patient's skin to improve the skin, and a drug supply unit coupled to the drug storage unit that supplies a predetermined amount of drug to the handpiece.
Multi-beam neuromodulation techniques
The subject matter of the present disclosure generally relates to techniques for neuromodulation of a tissue that include applying energy (e.g., ultrasound energy) into the tissue at multiple regions of interest, concurrently or consecutively. The neuromodulation may result in tissue displacement, which may be observed through changes in one or more molecules of interest.
Tissue treatment
There is provided in accordance with an exemplary embodiment of the invention a method and/or a device of treating tissue near a first lumen comprising inserting an energy emission element into a second lumen and delivering energy in an amount sufficient to cause one or more spaced apart areas of tissue damage at preselected locations in tissue near the first lumen. There is also provided a method and/or a device for treating a carotid artery wall, for example, to reduce signal conduction. There is also provided a method and/or a device for treating a wall of a lumen in a limb, for example, to increase blood flow. There is also provided a method and/or a device for treating a wall of a heart, for example, to stop abnormal signal propagation.
