A linear motion guide unit includes a rail having a raceway groove extending on each longitudinal side surface, and a slider fitting over the rail and movable relative to the rail. The rail includes a first rail member and a second rail member connected to each other in a longitudinal direction at a connecting portion. The first rail member has, at least at one end, a protrusion extending in the longitudinal direction. The second rail member has, at least at one end, a notch to be combined with the protrusion. In the connecting portion, the protrusion of the first rail member is combined with the notch of the second rail member to connect the first rail member and the second rail member. The protrusion and the notch are fixed with a columnar member extending in a direction intersecting the longitudinal direction.

In various embodiments, a satellite dispenser as disclosed herein includes a dispenser body defining an interior cavity to accommodate a payload; and a plurality of externally adjustable restraints positioned within the interior cavity and configured to be extended further into the interior cavity by actuation of a manual interface external to the interior cavity.

Spacing between the block holes matches spacing between the rod holes. The actuator block includes a light sensor positioned in a block hole to sense light coming through a rod hole aligned with the block hole and a ball bearing for each block hole of the set of block holes without a light sensor and extending partially through the corresponding block hole.

The clamping brake further includes a camshaft coupled to or including multiple eccentrics. The eccentrics are configured to overcome the spring forces and cause the brake pads to move outward and release the rail.
