Breathable Face Mask
A face mask face mask is configured to be worn on a human head and includes a face shield and at least one mounting strap. The face shield includes a multi-layer body portion comprising an outer layer, a middle layer and an inner layer. The outer layer is provided by a stitched fabric spacer, the middle layer provided by an open cell foam, and the inner layer provided a stretch fabric. The at least one mounting strap is an ear loop provided by a free-cut piece of fabric defined by an elongated narrow center portion positioned between an enlarged first end and an enlarged second end opposite the first end.
ADJUSTABLE FACE MASK
A face mask is provided for filtering a respiratory air flow of a user, the face mask comprising a main body, an external support frame and at least one inlet connector. The main body comprises elastomeric material and is configured to accommodate to facial features of the user. The main body further comprises at least one air inlet opening and at least one air outlet opening. The external support frame supports the main body. The inlet connector extends at least partly through the at least one air inlet of the main body and a corresponding air inlet of the support frame and comprises a valve mount for receiving and holding an inlet valve and a filter mount for receiving and holding a disposable filter element.
MASK APPARATUS
A mask apparatus includes a mask body, a pair of hook mounting portions at side ends of the mask body, a seal coupled to a rear surface of the mask body, and a pair of ear hook portions connected to the hook mounting portions. Each hook mounting portion includes an upper hook mounting portion, a lower hook mounting portion below the upper hook mounting portion, a hook pin at each of the upper hook mounting portion and the lower hook mounting portion, and a through-hole defined in each of the upper hook mounting portion and the lower hook mounting portion. Each ear hook portion includes a strap portion, a first hook portion connecting the strap portion to one of the upper and lower hook mounting portions, and a second hook portion connecting the strap portion to the other of the upper and lower hook mounting portions.
METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR PERSONAL PROTECTIVE RESPIRATORY DEVICE
An apparatus for a personal protective respiratory device according to various aspects of the present technology include a wearable housing having air filtration system and an air sterilizing system for providing filtered and sterilized airflow to a user. One or more internal fans generate a mass flow rate of air through the duct system. Filtered and sterilized air exits the housing above the user's forehead and is directed onto a face shield to create an elevated pressure zone of air in the region around the user's face. Both dispelled air from the housing and exhaled air from the user flow downwardly along an inner surface of the face shield and away from the user. The face shield may include an edge filter to capture respiratory droplets. A head gown may be coupled to the housing and head shield to provide additional protection against respiratory droplets.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR A RAPID MANUFACTURABLE FACE MASK ASSEMBLY
Various embodiments of a system and associated methods for a rapidly manufacturable face mask assembly are disclosed herein. The face mask assembly can be fabricated using methods and materials that are easily accessible and more quickly produced than traditional manufacturing methods. The main mask body is intended to be efficiently 3D printed, with the addition of a removable face seal made of silicone or other soft and flexible polymers. The mask body includes anchor points for various strap options, as well as a custom filter retainer that can be customized to accommodate the use of numerous different filter materials, while the face seal restricts airflow to intake only through the attached filter.
BREATHABLE RESPIRATOR MASK WITH MULTIPLE LAYERED FILTERS
In an example, a respirator includes a respirator body having a distal portion and a proximal portion, the distal portion including a filter housing wall and an open distal end. The proximal portion includes a facial interface which is compliant and deformable from an undeformed state to a deformed state to conform to a facial contour of an individual. One or more filter frames are inserted into the distal portion and supported by the filter housing wall to separate filter media on opposite sides of at least one of the one or more filter frames. A filter cover is releasably attached to the open distal end to enclose the one or more filter frames and filter media, forming a filter housing. The one or more filter frames are removable from the distal portion and replaced into the distal portion to allow replacement of the filter media.
Filtering face mask and respirator
A filtration mask protects the wearer against airborne hazards. The mask is reusable and may be used in a number of configurations. The mask includes filters located to the side and beneath the line of sight of the wearer. The filters may be tailored to the use and type of environmental hazard.
Personal Protection System
A personal protection system including a helmet worn on the head of a user and a hood removably coupled to the helmet. The hood may comprise a shell, a transparent face shield, and a mounting element configured to removably couple the hood to the helmet. The transparent shield may comprise a first lens and a second lens. The first lens may be coupled to the shell, and the second lens may be coupled to the first lens. The second lens may be coupled to the first lens by one of an adhesive, heat staking or ultra-sonic welding. The hood may also comprise a mounting element configured to center the transparent face shield relative to a light assembly coupled to the helmet such that the light emitted from the light assembly passes through a u-shaped opening or slot defined by the second lens.
DEVICES FOR PREVENTING INHALATION OF, EXPOSURE TO, AIRBORNE MATERIAL
A protection device for preventing exposure to undesired airborne material. The device including a filter assembly having a filter, and a proximal and a distal layer configured to hold the filter sandwiched between the proximal layer and the distal layer, a one-way valve positioned in the filter assembly and coupled to the proximal layer of the filter assembly, and a seal positioned along a peripheral edge of the filter assembly, the filter assembly and the seal defining a first safety compartment for enclosing a user's mouth and nose. The device can include an eye shield assembly having a skirt extending from the filter assembly and positioned distal to the seal, an optically transparent eye shield coupled to the skirt to form a continuous surface from the filter assembly to a top portion of the eye shield, and a frame coupled to the frame assembly and eye shield assembly.
RESPIRATOR MASK AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING
A mask that completely seals to the face of the wearer includes a filter material having a shape and size selected to cover a mouth and nose of the wearer. The mask also includes an adhesive ring disposed on one surface of the filter material at or near a circumferential edge of the filter material, the adhesive ring forming a closed loop around the circumferential edge of the filter material, the adhesive ring configured to removably adhere to a face of the wearer.
