Safety tether anchor and system for construction workers
A safety anchor for construction having a mounting plate for mounting to a vertical portion of a structure; a vertical support member coupled to the mounting plate and extending upwardly therefrom; and, a tethering component at a top end of the vertical support member. In one method of use, a first safety anchor is mounted to a first side of a structure, a second safety anchor is mounted to a second side of a structure, and a cable is interposed between the first and second safety anchors.
Mobile anchor cart
A method for using a mobile anchor cart assembly can include repositioning a cart of the mobile anchor cart assembly from an anchored position to a mobile position on a ground surface, the cart including a frame defining a front side and a rear side, the frame defining a front foot and a rear foot, the front foot and the rear foot resting upon the ground surface in the anchored position, the front foot and the rear foot clearing the ground surface in the mobile position; and an axle assembly mounted on the front side, the axle assembly clearing the ground surface in the anchored position, the axle assembly contacting the ground surface in the mobile position, the front foot positioned between the axle assembly and the rear foot; and rolling the mobile anchor cart assembly along the ground surface with the axle assembly.
ELEVATED HORIZONTAL SAFETY LIFELINE APPARATUS AND METHOD
An apparatus including a lifeline having a first end and an opposing second end; a support structure, wherein the first end and the second end of the lifeline are supported by the support structure such that there is a distance between the first end and the opposing second end; and a structure for holding one or more persons above a ground surface; wherein the support structure is configured to be moved without causing the structure for holding one or more persons to be moved; and the structure for holding one or more persons be configured to be moved without causing the support structure to be moved. The support structure may include first and second posts; wherein each of the first and second posts be configured to be adjusted in height above a ground surface to cause a height of the lifeline above the ground surface to be adjusted.
DRONE-ENABLED ACTIVE FALL PROTECTION
A method for providing active fall prevention assistance to a user. The method includes one or more computer processors mapping a work area where a user performs a plan of tasks. The method further includes determining a safety configuration related to the user and the task. The method further includes instructing an autonomous device to attach a first tether between a first anchor point and a safety harness secured to the user. The method further includes analyzing real-time images of the work area and the user while the user performs the task. The method further includes determining that the user is at risk of falling. The method further includes responding to determining that the user is at risk of falling by instructing the autonomous device to attach a second tether between a second anchor point and the safety harness secured to the user.
Saddle tie-back fall protection anchor
A rooftop fall protection anchor that comprises a plate, an anchor connection coupled with a first side of the plate, and at least one member on a second side of the plate, the member being substantially perpendicular and proximate to the plate's edge, configured to attach to a single framing member. The plate and/or member(s) may have holes to accommodate fasteners. The anchor connection may have at least one opening to attach a connection device of a personal fall arrest system (PFAS). The anchor connection may be coupled to the plate by a post. The fall protection anchor may be part of a system that comprises perpendicular blocking, construction strapping, and roof sheathing, either alone or in combination.

Lifeline Bypass Shuttle
In some embodiments, a lifeline comprises an anchor arranged to support a cable and a shuttle arranged to move along a length of the cable. The anchor comprises a body portion and a cable engaging portion. The body portion comprises a thickness. The shuttle comprises a first end and a second end. A cavity extends from the first end to the second end and a slot extends from the first end to the second end. The cable extends through the cavity. A width of the slot is greater than the thickness of the body portion. The width of the slot is less than a cross-sectional size of the cable.
DROP-IN ANCHOR FOR BEAM CATENARY LINES
One embodiment includes a drop-in anchor for construction beam catenary lines that includes a top portion having a first diameter. An elongated body portion has a second diameter and is connected to the top portion. The elongated body portion including a through-hole of a third diameter. The elongated body portion is configured to fit within a construction beam through-hole having a fourth diameter. The through-hole of the elongated body portion is configured for connecting with a catenary line connector. The first diameter is larger than the fourth diameter.
Device for preventing persons from falling
The invention relates to a device for preventing persons from falling, in particular from a roof, comprising a foot plate (10) which can be secured to an underlying surface and which comprises a stop point that can be attached to the foot plate, comprising either a post which projects upwards from the foot plate and which comprises an eyelet arranged in the upper end region of the post or an eyelet which can be introduced directly into the foot plate, in each case for attaching a cable by means of which the person is prevented from falling. According to the invention, a foot plate central region, in which the post or the eyelet is connected to the foot plate, is slotted around the post or the eyelet along at least one first defined circumferential slotted line (18a), which extends over at least approximately 270° in the circumferential direction, such that the central region is connected to the rest of the peripheral region of the foot plate (10) solely via narrow material webs (18b). In the event of a load, a type of joint is produced along the foot plate (10) sheet webs remaining between the slots, and the central region lying within the circumferential slotted line pivots together with the posts secured to the region upwards out of the plane of the footplate on the basis of the lifting force acting via the posts. The posts can thus lie flatly, and a torque is no longer acting on the peripheral region of the foot plate.
