Multi layer fire curtain
A multi-layer rolling fire curtain assembly includes: a rotatable curtain roller positionable about a structure opening; a multi-layer fire curtain wrappable about the curtain roller and to be deployable from the curtain roller between an extended position and an open position, the fire curtain having a first end fixed to the curtain roller, and a free end, the free end being movable between a retracted position and an extended position. The fire curtain has: a fire resistant inner curtain layer arranged closer to the curtain roller, and a fire resistant outer curtain layer arranged opposite the inner layer. The inner and outer layers are affixed to one another by horizontally oriented connection seams, to connect the inner and outer layers to each other, the connection seams being configured so that the outer and inner layers are spaced apart by a plurality of baggy areas formed between adjacent connection seams.
Fire or smoke protection curtain
A fire or smoke protection curtain includes a textile fire protection element, which has a first side in the form of a front side and a second side in the form of a reverse side. The textile fire protection element can be put into a compact bearing arrangement and in a protection arrangement in which it counteracts the spread of a fire and/or smoke and while extending along a closing surface. At least one guide track guides the fire protection element while it is in the protection arrangement. The at least one guide track is designed to exert a holding force (F.sub.H) that counteracts a bulging of the fire protection element. The at least one guide track is designed to exert the holding force (F.sub.H) on the fire protection element to at least 80% from only one of the sides.

FIRE CONTAINMENT SYSTEM AND METHODS OF USE THEREOF
A fire containment system strung across the ground and methods of use thereof, that generally includes two or more vertical towers anchored in series in the ground, a lift system integral to each of said two or more vertical towers having a plurality of vertically slidable swivel joints capable of vertical travel there up one of the two or more vertical towers, one or more cables, each cable strung between one of the plurality of vertically slidable swivel joints on each of the two of the or more vertical towers, a fire proof curtain affixed to said one or more cables, a below ground storage to contain said fire proof curtain.

Fire barrier blanket
A fire resistant system comprising a flexible blanket sized to be deployable on or over an edifice, or part thereof, the blanket being flame retardant and heat resistant, the blanket consisting of aromatic polyamide (aramid) fibers defining a knit yarn fabric, the blanket fabric defining distributed vent openings of small size to freely pass air from one side of the blanket to the other, and away from elongated edifice associated objects such as hot embers, the blanket having edges configured to be pulled for distributing the blanket over the edifice.
Test bench for an aircraft turbojet engine, with shutters
A test bench for an aircraft turbojet engine is provided. The test bench comprises a U-shaped configuration with a passage in the form of an elongated corridor, an inlet duct, and an outlet duct. The corridor comprises a fixing zone with a fixing arm for holding a turbojet engine during testing. The passage furthermore has an upstream shutter with vertical pivoting air guides and a downstream shutter with an inflatable balloon in a collector tube. In the event of fire, the shutters close to confine the turbojet engine in order to suffocate the fire rapidly. A method for managing a fire in a test bench with a passage is also provided. Shutters are placed in the passage, where they deploy.

Fabric fire rated door
A fabric fire rated door is described. The door utilizes a fire resistant fabric curtain with an end lock attachment. A tubular steel shaft is driven by an internal tube motor. The shaft is supported to minimize deflection. Single door shafts can also be joined together with a coupler shaft to create infinitely wide doors. The coupler shaft is spring loaded to act as a take up reel for a coupling curtain which will overlap each adjacent single door shaft. All curtains are attached to the same bottom bar. A hood covers the shaft, curtain, and the supports that run across the width of the door. The curtain travels over these horizontal supports as it drops down through the hood opening. The horizontal supports keep the curtain in position for proper seal during a fire/smoke event.
