COMPOUNDING DEVICE, SYSTEM, KIT, SOFTWARE, AND METHOD
An exemplary compounding system and method can include a transfer set that includes a manifold for assisting in transferring a plurality of ingredients from supply container(s) to a final container. The manifold can include a first channel in fluid communication with at least one primary ingredient, and a second channel in fluid communication with a plurality of secondary ingredients. The first channel and second channel can be in fluid isolation from each other such that the at least one primary ingredient does not mix with the plurality of secondary ingredients within the manifold. The transfer set can include a plurality of inlet lines in fluid communication with the manifold and two outlet lines configured for connection to two separate pumps and eventually being in fluid communication with the final container.
VALVE FOR CONTROLLING THE WATER FLOW IN A SANITARY LINE
A valve for controlling the water flow in a sanitary line has a housing with a housing lower part in which a water supply channel portion, a control channel, and a water discharge channel portion are arranged in the flow direction. The control valve has a valve upper part with a head piece, which is arranged in a housing bore coaxially to the bore axis and to which a stator disc with a first ceramic surface is secured, and with a spindle, with which a rotor disc with a second ceramic surface is in engagement. The control valve also has an electric drive which is arranged in the housing upper part and which is in engagement with the spindle. Two seals which rest against the head piece and the spindle seal the control channel of the control valve from a housing upper part.
LARGE BORE PLUG VALVE
A plug valve including a valve body defining an internal cavity, a first passage, and a second passage, a plug defining a third passage and being rotatable within the internal cavity, and an insert extending within the internal cavity between the valve body and the plug. The insert defines an interior surface and an opening aligned with the first passage of the valve body. The insert may also define a sealing surface extending around the opening and standing in relief against the interior surface to sealingly engage the plug. In addition to, or instead of, the sealing surface, the insert may define a projection at least partially defining the interior surface. In addition, a boot may be connected to the valve body and interlocked with the projection to prevent, or at least reduce, rotation of the insert relative to the valve body when the plug rotates within the internal cavity.
LARGE BORE PLUG VALVE
A plug valve including a valve body defining an internal cavity, a first passage, and a second passage, a plug defining a third passage and being rotatable within the internal cavity, and an insert extending within the internal cavity between the valve body and the plug. The insert defines an interior surface and an opening aligned with the first passage of the valve body. The insert may also define a sealing surface extending around the opening and standing in relief against the interior surface to sealingly engage the plug. In addition to, or instead of, the sealing surface, the insert may define a projection at least partially defining the interior surface. In addition, a boot may be connected to the valve body and interlocked with the projection to prevent, or at least reduce, rotation of the insert relative to the valve body when the plug rotates within the internal cavity.
Valve trim assembly and flow control valve including the valve trim assembly
A flow control valve includes an inlet, an outlet, and defines a fluid flow path. A valve seat is disposed within a valve body, and a valve plug in the valve body is surrounded by a cage. An exterior surface of the valve plug includes a plurality of notch sets, each notch set spaced apart from an adjacent notch set along the longitudinal axis, and the cage is disposed within the valve body and arranged to retain the valve seat, with an interior of the cage including a plurality of annular recesses. The annular recesses are spaced apart along the longitudinal axis, and the cage includes a plurality of apertures forming a portion of the fluid flow path. The notch sets and the recesses are arranged to form a plurality of turns in the fluid flow path when the valve plug is shifted toward the open position.
Valve trim assembly and flow control valve including the valve trim assembly
A flow control valve includes an inlet, an outlet, and defines a fluid flow path. A valve seat is disposed within a valve body, and a valve plug in the valve body is surrounded by a cage. An exterior surface of the valve plug includes a plurality of notch sets, each notch set spaced apart from an adjacent notch set along the longitudinal axis, and the cage is disposed within the valve body and arranged to retain the valve seat, with an interior of the cage including a plurality of annular recesses. The annular recesses are spaced apart along the longitudinal axis, and the cage includes a plurality of apertures forming a portion of the fluid flow path. The notch sets and the recesses are arranged to form a plurality of turns in the fluid flow path when the valve plug is shifted toward the open position.
Distributor valve having an integrated flow meter unit
A distribution valve with an integrated flowmeter unit, which exhibits a main flow channel, through which a medium can flow in a main flow direction, and a secondary flow channel branching from the latter. The distribution valve includes a distribution valve housing containing a main pipe, a first conduit pipe connection, a second conduit pipe connection and at least one branch lying in between. The main flow channel in the main pipe runs from the first conduit pipe connection to the second conduit pipe connection. The branch empties into a first housing part, which includes an outlet. The outlet of the first housing part empties into a second housing part, which accommodates a flowmeter body and includes an outlet that forms a third conduit pipe connection. The secondary flow channel runs from the at least one branch of the main pipe to the outlet of the second housing part.
Devices, assemblies and methods for controlling fluid flow
A valve is provided for controlling flow along a fluid line that includes an outer shell and an inner housing slidably disposed therein that includes connector threads surrounding a boss on one end and a passage through the boss. A backing member is coupled to the outer shell and has a sealing pin extending into the passage. The inner housing is movable helically relative to the outer shell from a closed position wherein a sealing pin engages an outlet opening at the distal end of the boss to seal the opening and an open position in which the inner housing is directed away from the sealing pin to open a fluid path through the valve. A torque limiter mechanism between the outer shell and inner housing resists movement from the valve closed position to the valve open position until a selected torque level is reached.
Devices, assemblies and methods for controlling fluid flow
A valve is provided for controlling flow along a fluid line that includes an outer shell and an inner housing slidably disposed therein that includes connector threads surrounding a boss on one end and a passage through the boss. A backing member is coupled to the outer shell and has a sealing pin extending into the passage. The inner housing is movable helically relative to the outer shell from a closed position wherein a sealing pin engages an outlet opening at the distal end of the boss to seal the opening and an open position in which the inner housing is directed away from the sealing pin to open a fluid path through the valve. A torque limiter mechanism between the outer shell and inner housing resists movement from the valve closed position to the valve open position until a selected torque level is reached.
THROTTLE VALVE
A throttle valve is provided, including a throttle valve body, a valve plug, a hollow seal, a cover, a spring, and a bushing. A flow path is formed in the throttle valve body. The valve plug is disposed in the throttle valve body. The degree of opening of the flow path is modified by rotating the valve plug. The hollow seal is disposed in the throttle valve body. The hollow seal abuts the valve plug. The cover is connected to the throttle valve body. An outlet is formed on the cover, the cover comprises a cover flange, and the cover flange surrounds the outlet. The spring abuts the cover flange to apply an elastic force to the hollow seal for tightly contacting the hollow seal with the valve plug. The spring is telescoped on the bushing, and a first end of the bushing pushes the hollow seal.
