A gasket for preventing the separation of a pipe joint formed between plastic pipes such as pipes manufactured from PVC. The invention provides an internally restrained pipe joint including a bell with a substantially V-shaped annular groove. The annular groove includes a front radial wall and a rear radial wall and a gasket seated in the annular groove. The gasket includes an inner radial face, an opening defined by the inner radial face and an outer radial face with a front radial section located adjacent to the front radial wall of the annular groove and a rear radial section located adjacent to the rear radial wall of the annular groove. A plurality of toothed, rigid restraining segments is at least partially embedded in the gasket.

A tube clamp may include a tube body, an abutting block, and a clamping member, and a pivot connecting portion is formed at a lateral edge of the tube body. A through hole penetrates through a lateral surface of the tube body, and each of two lateral edges of the through hole has a first locating protrude having a stepped surface. The abutting block is slidably installed in the through hole, and each of two lateral sides of the abutting block comprises a second locating protrude, and the two second locating protrudes are respectively coupled with the two first locating protrudes. The clamping member has a protruding portion and a pulling portion. Through pulling the pulling portion, the protruding portion is adapted to press the abutting block into an inner space of the tube body so as to achieve the clamping effect of the tube clamp.

A split T-shaped pipe serving as a housing device and comprising: an annular case body that has a split part in at least one location in the circumferential direction, and that surrounds the outer circumferential surface of a water pipe in a sealed state with a seal material therebetween; and fasteners for tightening the split part, thereby joining a plurality of split pieces constituting the case body. Joining surfaces are provided at the circumferential end portions of the split pieces, and protrusions protruding along the circumferential direction are formed on the joining surfaces but only at both end portions of the case body in the pipe axis direction of the water pipe.

A method of forming a tube assembly includes forming arms on a tube end portion by forming a plurality of slots or slits on such tube end and mating such arms with a tapered outer surface of a fitting. The fitting may include at least one annular step mated with an annular step formed on the tube inner surface.

A restrained pipe coupling comprises a restraining gland assembly having an annular main body with multiple gripper units movably connected to the annular main body. Each gripper unit comprises a gripper housing having a bottom sliding surface, a gripper bolt fixedly secured to the gripper housing and radially movable through a gripper opening in the annular main body and fixable at different positions, and a gripper body having a top sliding surface and a bottom gripping surface. The sliding surfaces of the gripper housing and the gripper body are in slidable contact and angled between 20 and 30 degrees from the axial direction of the annular main body.

A block fitting and seal structure for an air conditioning system includes a male block fitting and a female block fitting. The male block fitting includes an axially extending protuberant portion. A distal end of the protuberant portion has a tapered portion formed thereon. A female block fitting includes a recessed portion with a tapered portion formed therein. The tapered portion of the female block fitting is configured to engage the tapered portion of the male block fitting. An annular seal is disposed between the male block fitting and the female block fitting. The seal provides an axial seal and a radial seal between the male block fitting and the female block fitting.

A pipe system for transporting liquid. The pipe system connects adjacent pipes and includes a pipe having a coupler cup formed in an end thereof. The coupler cup is configured for receiving and end of a second pipe therein. The pipe system includes a coupler cap adapted to snap onto the coupler cup. The coupler cap also has an opening for receiving the second pipe therethrough to couple the first pipe and the second pipe. A seal is disposed between the coupler cap and the coupler cup to provide a sealed pipe system.

Provided are insulated assemblies that reduce heat transfer to the environment at the junction of two lumens, the assemblies comprising an insulated jacket that can be secured to the lumens so as to enclose the junction between the two lumens. Also provided are related methods of fabricating such assemblies.

A metallic-composite joint fitting is provided. The fitting may comprise a composite structure, an integral bearing comprising a first frustoconical portion and a second frustoconical portion each having a complimentary shape to the composite structure, a sleeve comprising a third frustoconical portion coupled to a cylindrical bearing surface of the integral bearing, and a metallic end fitting coupled to the third frustoconical portion, wherein the metallic end fitting comprises a bearing portion contacted with the cylindrical bearing surface.

A pipe system for transporting liquid. The pipe system connects adjacent pipes and includes a pipe having a coupler cup formed in an end thereof. The coupler cup is configured for receiving an end of a second pipe therein. The pipe system includes a coupler cap adapted to snap onto the coupler cup. The coupler cap also has an opening for receiving the second pipe therethrough to couple the first pipe and the second pipe. A seal is disposed between the coupler cap and the coupler cup to provide a sealed pipe system.
