Lighter holder attachment apparatus
A lighter holder attachment accessory for a water pipe includes an attachment component in the form of an elongated elastic strap of a rectangular configuration and adapted to snugly fit around and thereby securely attach to any diameter size of a tubular stem of the water pipe. The accessory also includes a holder component in the form of a continuous tubular sidewall being closed at a bottom end and open at a top end so as to form an interior compartment for receiving a pocket lighter therein. The holder component also includes an exterior attachment strip on the tubular sidewall such that with the pocket lighter received therein is detachably attachable to the elongated strap of the attachment component and may be temporarily detached therefrom so as to enable the lighter to be used without being removed from the interior compartment of the holder component.
Fire-Starting Kit
A fire-starting kit. The fire-starting kit includes a housing having an open first end opposite a second end, wherein the housing includes a fan therein. A motor is disposed within the housing and is operably connected to the fan, such that the motor rotates the fan when the motor is activated. Upon activation, the fan draws air into the housing through an air intake disposed on the second end, and expels air from the first end. A nozzle extends from the open first end. A light source is disposed on the housing and can emit light towards the open first end when activated. An electric fire-starter that can ignite a fuel is secured to the housing. A fan control and a light control are each disposed on the housing, and can activate the fan and the light source, respectively, when actuated.

Igniter
An igniter device includes a holder for a piezo electric ignition source. A first end of the inner holder is coupled to a piezo electric ignition source including an actuator. A second end of the inner holder has a surface configured to receive a tip of an oxy fuel torch. An attachment structure releasably attaches the igniter device to a support member. The actuator is moveable from a relaxed state to a compressed state to activate the piezo electric ignition source to produce a spark for igniting the oxy fuel torch to produce a flame when the igniter device is attached to the support member.

Igniter with safety protection device and ignition control method therefor
An igniter with a safety protection device (5) and an ignition control method therefor. The igniter comprises an ignition switch (3) and an energy supply module (4). The safety protection device (5) comprises a safety switch (51), a trigger module (52) and a wireless transceiver module (53), wherein the wireless transceiver module (53) can transmit a wireless request signal, receive a wireless response signal from an external device (2) and transmit the received wireless response signal to the trigger module (52), and the trigger module (52) triggers the safety switch (51) according to the wireless response signal to enable the safety switch (51) to act, so that ignition can be realized, and the ignition cannot be realized even the ignition switch (3) is actuated when the wireless transceiver module (53) does not receive the wireless response signal. The igniter can effectively prevent children or disabled persons from accidentally using the igniter.
Hand shield for cooking utensils
A heat shield in the shape of a semi-sphere made of flexible material and having a centralized opening therein so that the heat shield can be slidingly placed on the shaft or handle of a cooking utensil. The outer shell of the heat shield also has a plurality of criss-crossed ribs disposed thereon wherein the ribs are strengthening ribs for providing additional rigidity to the flexible shell which is expected to be made of a flexible, stretchable material like silicone or the like. The central opening in the shell is designed to have a plurality of slits radially extending therefrom so that the opening is useful for mounting on utensils having a variety of diameters because the opening is variable in diameter due to the slits and stretchability and flexibility of the material.

Valve assembly for a gas lighter
A gas lighter valve assembly that can be fitted easily and tightly into a gas lighter body or a well as a free-floating entity not fixed to the gas lighter body or well. The valve assemblies integration as a free floating entity within the lighter body or well avoids the necessity of an interference fit. To avoid the necessity of an interference fit, valve assembly positioning and stability is achieved by the use of an o-ring which is compressed by downward force exerted by a pressing cover upon a bushing or directly upon the o-ring. By eliminating the stress and friction typically caused by an interference fit, the lighter body and reservoir can be made from a variety of materials including non-crystalline resins.
