Removable cartridge for liquid diffusion device and cartridge insert thereof
An insert of a cartridge for use with a liquid diffusing device is provided. The insert includes a body, an inlet provided in the body to receive diffused liquid generated within the cartridge during operation of the liquid diffusing device, an outlet zone defined at least in part by the body through which to discharge the diffused liquid toward an external environment, and a tortuous passage extending between the inlet and the outlet zone to aid in further reducing an average particle size of the diffused liquid as the diffused liquid moves through the tortuous passage. Removable cartridges for use with a diffusion device are also provided which include such an insert.
Air freshening system and method
The present invention supports an airflow register accessory comprising an accessory having an outer and an inner surface and defining vents, a fastening mechanism located on the inner surface of the accessory, and a scented component located on the inner surface adjacent and accessorizing the vents. In a preferred embodiment, the accessory may be easily attached to and detached from the room-facing surface of an airflow register. Upon air flow from an HVAC system through the airflow register and airflow register accessory, a pleasant scent may be imparted to the room via release of scent from the scented component.
Deodorization and sterilization apparatus and method
A deodorization and sterilization apparatus and method, which increases an amount of generated active species and collects floating bacteria or odor materials in air at one place, such that the active species make contact with the collected floating bacteria or odor materials to achieve high-efficiency sterilization and deodorization. A pair of electrodes is provided, plasma discharge is carried out by applying designated voltage between the pair of electrodes, fluid passage holes are provided at corresponding parts of respective electrodes so as to communicate with each other, and at least one absorption member to absorb floating bacteria or odor materials is disposed at the downstream of a fluid passing through the fluid passage holes.
BASE AND HUMIDIFIER
A base of a humidifier includes a housing, an air outlet assembly, and a first partition. The housing includes a receiving chamber, a first air inlet, and a second air inlet. The air outlet assembly is disposed in the receiving chamber and includes a fan, a temperature and humidity sensor, and an aroma component. The first partition is disposed in the receiving chamber and configured to spatially separate the temperature and humidity sensor from the fan and the aroma component. The fan is configured to introduce a first airflow from the first air inlet to pass through the temperature and humidity sensor, and reach the fan; introduce a second airflow flow from the second air inlet to pass through the aroma component without passing through the temperature and humidity sensor, and reach the fan; and discharge the first second airflow out of the receiving chamber through the air outlet.
MICROFLUIDIC-BASED APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR VAPORIZATION OF LIQUIDS
Methods and apparatus for vaporizing liquid from a liquid source into the surrounding environment, are disclosed, where the apparatus comprises at least one manifold comprising at least one liquid port formed by a through-hole and at least one ridge structure, wherein the liquid port is in fluid communication with the liquid source and the one ridge structure At least one vaporization port is included in a planar structure connecting a first side of the structure to a second side, in fluid communication with the at least one ridge structure and the surrounding environment, wherein fluid flow through the liquid and vaporization ports is substantially perpendicular to the plane of the structure, and the ridge structures are substantially parallel to the plane of the structure. At least one heating element is present that is in thermal communication to the at least one vaporization port and at least one ridge structure.
Aromatherapy humidifier
The invention discloses an aromatherapy humidifier, which includes a base, a shell and a cover, which are superimposed sequentially. An atomizing container is arranged on the base. A water storage tank is arranged on the atomizing container. The atomizing container and the water storage tank are contained in the shell. The water storage tank supplies water for the atomizing container and is provided with a mist channel communicated with the atomizing container. The atomizing container is provided with an atomizing assembly for atomizing water into mist and an aromatherapy assembly for volatilizing essential oil. The cover is covered on the shell and the water storage tank, the cover is provided with a spray port communicated with the mist channel and an water inlet communicated with the water storage tank, the mist and the volatilizing essential oil float through the mist channel and the spray port to humidify air.
A DIFFUSION TERMINAL OF CLEAN AIR PROVIDED WITH DOUBLE EMISSION, AND CORRESPONDING AIR EXCHANGE SYSTEM
A diffusion terminal of clean air includes an outer body, which can be connected to a respective supply channel of clean air. The outer body has an outlet mouth for supplying clean air towards an inhalation area of a person. A first conical element is at least partially hollow arranged inside the outer body, so that an axis of the first conical element is substantially coincident with a main axis of the body. The first conical element has a base portion arranged close to a plane defined by the outlet mouth, so as to provide an outlet of an airflow along a crown defined between an inner surface of the outer body and an outer surface of the first conical element. The first conical element has at least one opening to enable passing of an airflow within the first conical element and through an outlet mouth thereof.
Systems, methods and articles for enhancing wellness associated with habitable environments
Environmental characteristics or scenes of habitable environments (e.g., hotel or motel rooms, spas, resorts, cruise boat cabins, offices, hospitals and/or homes, apartments or residences, or other spaces or sub-spaces) are controlled to facilitate certain activities of a user in the environment by increasing focus, preparing for sleep, directing movement, masking ambient noise, and improving air quality, among others. Controllable characteristics include, for example, lighting, CO.sub.2/O.sub.2 levels, humidity levels, sound, aroma, and air temperature. Controls are provided for the occupant and/or facility personnel to select activities or scenes, or sensors detect the activity and implement an appropriate scene.
Air purifier
An air purifier includes: a housing; a fan in the housing; an outlet in a top face of the housing, air being blown out via the outlet; an air passage spatially connecting the fan to the outlet; and an illumination unit configured to illuminate the air passage, wherein the air passage includes an upstream, first air passage and a downstream, second air passage, the first air passage extends upwards, the second air passage has a curved surface or an inclined surface inclined with respect to the first air passage, and the illumination unit illuminates the curved surface or the inclined surface.
Air purifier and a method for controlling an air purifier
An air purifier (10) uses an air purifier filter unit (12) and a sensor (26) for sensing the matter to be filtered by the air purifier filter unit. By monitoring (18) the performance of the air purifier combined with information about the air purifier filter unit, it is possible to determine a volume of the space in which the air purifier (10) is deployed.
