Autonomous robotic device capable of vacuum cleaning and purifying air
An autonomous robotic device capable of vacuum cleaning and purifying air includes an autonomous robotic vacuum cleaner for moving autonomously and vacuum cleaning, and an air purifier. The autonomous robotic vacuum cleaner has a power supply and a top surface provided with a plurality of positioning members. The air purifier has an air inlet, an air outlet, and a plurality of matching members at the bottom thereof. The air purifier is detachably disposed on the autonomous robotic vacuum cleaner in a way that the matching members are in contact with the positioning members to create a positioning relationship for positioning the air purifier on the autonomous robotic vacuum cleaner, and an electrical connection to enable the air purifier to receive electric power from the power supply of the autonomous robotic vacuum cleaner.
Indoor unit of air-conditioning apparatus
An air-conditioning apparatus indoor unit that includes a controller is described. In an automatic cleaning mode, when having determined on the basis of an image captured by an imaging device that there is no person in a room, the controller causes air to be blown for a predetermined time to a stationary three-dimensional object identified using the image captured by the imaging device. After the predetermined time has elapsed, the controller causes air blowing to the stationary three-dimensional object to be stopped, and issues an operation instruction for an autonomous vacuum cleaner to clean and move in the room.
SPEAKER FAN SYSTEM AND METHOD
A ventilation assembly having a main housing that can be pre-installed in a wall or ceiling aperture. A fan assembly can be inserted through the aperture and releasably mounted within the main housing. The fan assembly can be removed from the main housing and replaced without removing the main housing from the wall or ceiling. An accessory component can be releasably mounted to the fan assembly either through the aperture when the fan assembly is mounted or prior to installation of the fan assembly.
FURNITURE ITEM WITH INTEGRATED AIR FILTRATION SYSTEM
Disclosed is an air filtration system comprising a furniture item which may be a table; and at least one air filtration unit configured to integrate with the furniture item. In embodiments, the air filtration system includes at least one integrated receptacle configured to receive the air filtration unit and air channels in fluid communication with the receptacle, wherein the air channels are configured to channel filtered air from the air filtration unit.
Monitor Stand with Air Purifying System
A monitor stand configured to support a monitor or display and having an integrated air purifier configured for near-field operation so that purified air is directed toward the head of a user, enabling the user to breathe a higher percentage of purified air versus unpurified ambient air. Additional functions are included to provide enhanced functionality in a use environment.
INTEGRATED THERMAL COMFORT CONTROL SYSTEM WITH SHADING CONTROL
An environmental control system for a space including at least one window adapted for admitting light into the space. The system comprises an environmental controller (such as a fan, a light, an HVAC system, a window, a window covering, or any combination of the foregoing) for regulating an environmental condition, and at least one first sensor, such as a radiant heat flux sensor, for sensing an amount of radiant energy associated with the space and generating an output. A controller is provided for controlling the operation of the environmental controller based on the sensor output. Related methods are also disclosed.
Dual Control Thermostat
A dual control climate controlling system (thermostat) that gives the control of an HVAC system to two separate partiesan authoritative body such as an administration of a facility and the room occupantin a balance of control that satisfies the needs of both parties with minimal detrimental effects to the other. The administration has ultimate control over the HVAC system management and decides how much control it wants the room occupant to have. The administration has a comprehensive set of software driven tools within the device that allow it to enable or disable any control feature of the thermostat. There are automatic features that return control settings back to the administration's settings after allowing the room occupant to make changes to achieve comfort for himself This is a non-deniable system, that is, the room occupant can effect changes without the need for a password.
INTEGRATED SPACE CONDITIONING AND WATER HEATING/COOLING SYSTEMS AND METHODS THERETO
Embodiments include systems and methods for heating water and cooling air simultaneously, as well as other simultaneous heating and cooling operations. An example variable refrigerant flow conditioning system includes an outdoor unit having a compressor, a condenser coil, and a fan, a water heater coupled to the outdoor unit, a first air conditioning unit coupled to the outdoor unit, and a controller. The controller may be configured to determine that a cooling mode is active during a first time interval, cause vapor refrigerant to be directed from the outdoor unit to the water heater and liquid refrigerant to be directed from the outdoor unit to the first air conditioning unit, determine that an air heating mode is active during a second time interval, and cause the vapor refrigerant to be directed from the outdoor unit to both the water heater and the first air conditioning unit.
Air purifier and its air purification method
An air purification method includes the steps of acquiring air quality data within the air purifying area, determining whether the air quality data falls within a predetermined threshold range, determining an operation mode of the air purifier by a ratio between an area size of the air purifying area and a coverage area of the air purifier when the acquired air quality data is not fall within the threshold range, and controlling the air purifier at the operation mode thereof to purify air within the air purifying area. The operation mode of the air purifier is determined according to a ratio between an area size of the air purifying area and a coverage area of the air purifier.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR EXTRACTING HEAT FROM A FLUE GAS
A system is provided for extracting heat from a flue gas after it is expelled from a cooking appliance, such as a commercial deep fryer. A flue extension is provided between the flue of the cooking appliance and an exhaust hood positioned above the cooking appliance. Within the flue extension is disposed a heat exchanger assembly, which includes a coil that forms part of a closed fluid loop including a second heat exchanger that is disposed within a fluid medium that is to be heated, such as water. A mount supports the flue extension, and allows movement of the flue extension between an operating configuration and a stowed configuration. The flue extension is positioned closer to the flue of the cooking appliance when in the operating configuration compared to the stowed configuration. Mounting the flue extension is achieved without modifying the cooking appliance or the exhaust hood.
