Terrain belt for use with a treadmill
For use with a treadmill, a treadmill belt including terrain-simulating protrusions containing hard beads to simulate rocky terrain when walked or run upon by a user. In an embodiment, the hard bead is a glass bead. An embodiment includes layers of a silicone compound on the treadmill belt and covering the hard beads.
Enhanced golf simulation system
A green simulation apparatus having a configurable upper surface with a changeable contour may comprise a covering forming the upper surface and a covering support assembly configured to support the covering. The support assembly may comprise a plurality of movable positioning elements having the covering resting thereon and positioned in an array extending in a reference plane and movable along axes extending substantially perpendicular to the reference plane. The support assembly may comprise a movement actuator configured to move at least one of the positioning elements independently of other positioning elements in the array.
Mod Belt
For use with a treadmill, a treadmill belt including terrain-simulating protrusions containing hard beads to simulate rocky terrain when walked or run upon by a user. In an embodiment, the hard bead is a glass bead. An embodiment includes layers of a silicone compound on the treadmill belt and covering the hard beads.
EDDY CURRENT CYCLING RESISTANCE APPARATUS
A cycling resistance apparatus includes an adjustment mechanism configured to be attached to a frame, such as a stationary frame or the frame of a bicycle, and a magnet assembly attached to the adjustment mechanism. The adjustment mechanism is configured to position magnets of the magnet assembly at an active position so that a face of each magnet is positioned within a diameter of a bicycle tire and within a width of the bicycle tire, so as to be adjacent an electrically conductive rim of the bicycle wheel. When in the active position, the one or more magnets of the magnet assembly induce eddy currents in the electrically conductive rim of the wheel to provide resistance against rotation of the wheel in the frame.
STATIONARY EXERCISE APPARATUS FOR INDOOR CYCLING
The present disclosure relates to a stationary exercise apparatus for indoor cycle training (1), i.e. a stationary exercise bicycle, preferably provided with a magnetic resistance unit (15). One embodiment relates to a stationary exercise bike comprising a flywheel (10) defining a radial gap (25) in the periphery wherein at least the periphery of the flywheel (10) has ferromagnetic properties, and wherein a magnetic resistance unit (15) is configured to controllably insert one, two or more magnets into said radial gap.
EXERCISE EQUIPMENT AND EXERCISE EQUIPMENT ASSEMBLY, AND APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR SIMULATING EXERCISE ENVIRONMENT IN EXERCISE EQUIPMENT
The present application discloses an exercise equipment having a main body, a transmission, a driving wheel rotatably mounted on the main body, a driven wheel rotatably mounted on the main body and operatively coupled to the driving wheel through the transmission, an actuator configured to actuate a driving force applied to the driven wheel, and a controller. The controller is configured to control the actuator to actuate the driving force applied to the driven wheel based on a control parameter.
ATHLETE MANAGEMENT APPARATUS FOR MANAGING STATE OF ATHLETE IN CONJUNCTION WITH PROTECTOR WORN BY ATHLETE, ATHLETE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, AND ATHLETE MANAGEMENT METHOD USING SAME
Provided is an apparatus for managing a player with a guard including a sensor sensing a vital information of a player to calculate an injury risk of the player to thereby manage a condition of the player, the apparatus including: a communication unit receiving the vital information from the guard and transmitting the injury risk to the guard; a memory storing a program calculating the injury risk to manage the condition of the player; and a processor connected to the communication unit and the memory to execute an operation implemented by the program, in which the program may include instructions using the vital information and pre-stored vital recovering ability data of the player to calculate the injury risk of the player.

SIGNATURE BASED MONITORING SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A system and a method determine an activity of a user. Sensor data is collected from a sensor within a pod worn by the user. The sensor data is matched to a signature definition corresponding to a known activity and the sensor. When the sensor data matches the signature definition, the activity of the user is determined. Sensed data, signature data, and/or matched signature data may be communicated to and from external devices. Signatures may be learned for known activities.
PLATFORM FOR ENABLING OMNIDIRECTIONAL MOVEMENT OF AN EXERCISING MACHINE
A platform for enabling omnidirectional movement of an exercising machine is disclosed. The platform may comprise a hemispherical inner body comprising a hollow cavity. The hollow cavity may be used for accommodating an exercising machine into the hollow cavity. The exercising machine may be one of a treadmill, treadclimber, and bicycle. The platform may further comprise an outer body. The outer body may be rotatably engaged with the hemispherical inner body. The rotatable engagement may allow an omnidirectional movement of the hemispherical inner body in a horizontal plane and an inclination and declination of the exercising machine. The platform further comprises a communication unit. The communication unit may be connected with the hemispherical inner body for receiving user's inputs for movement. At least one of the hemispherical inner body and the exercising machine may move based on the user's inputs for movement. The platform may also find use in virtual shopping environments to help a user in buying products.
