The antiwear coating (2) has at least a metal adhesion layer (3a), an adhesion-promoting layer (3b) and at least one first cover layer (3c). The adhesion-promoting layer (3b) comprises a carbide-forming metal or a boride-forming metal. The at least first cover layer (3c) comprises a hydrogen-free tetrahedral carbon. The invention further relates to a method for applying an antiwear coating (2) to a metal substrate (9) in order to produce an antiwear-coated metal component (1) of this type. The invention further relates to a ball valve, comprising an antiwear-coated metal component (1) of this type and an antiwear coating (2).
High-pressure line
The invention relates to a high-pressure line for conveying a fluid under high pressure to a consumer, in particular for supplying fuel under injection pressure to one or more injectors (14) of a combustion engine. It comprises a first (1), a second (2), and a third line section (3), which line sections (1, 2, 3) are flowed through successively in the intended operation of the high-pressure line and are jointly formed by a ones-piece component (4) made of metal, wherein the first line section (1) and the third line section (3) each have a smaller flow cross-section than the second line section (2) arranged between them.
DIESEL INJECTORS AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING DIESEL INJECTORS
Methods and systems are provided for a diesel fuel injector for an internal combustion engine is provided. The diesel fuel injector comprises an injector nozzle body, the injector nozzle body comprising a first thickness of material, wherein an injection passage for injecting fuel using the fuel injector is formed in the first thickness of material, the injection passage defining an opening through which fuel is sprayed from the injector; and a second thickness of material, wherein the second thickness of material forms an outer surface of the injector nozzle body and wherein the second thickness of material extends around the injection passage, spaced apart from the injection passage opening, such that condensation forming on the outer surface of the injector nozzle body is positioned away from the opening of the injection passage. A method of manufacturing a diesel fuel injector is also provided.
FUEL DISTRIBUTION PIPE
Provided is a fuel distribution pipe connected to a fuel pipe and distributes and supplies fuel to a plurality of fuel injection devices, comprising: a tubular base material forming a body of the fuel distribution pipe; and a plating layer formed on a surface of the base material, wherein the base material includes a sealing surface formed on an inner peripheral surface thereof and comes into press-contact with the fuel pipe, and wherein a thickness of the plating layer on the sealing surface is thinner than that of the plating layer on an outer peripheral surface of the fuel distribution pipe.
FUEL INJECTOR NOZZLE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR THE SAME
A fuel injector and a nozzle for a fuel injector is provided. The nozzle includes at least one spray hole that is formed through a hardened nozzle body. The nozzle body is hardened again after forming the at least one spray hole to hardened the nozzle body along the at least one spray hole.
Assembly for fuel injector and coating method for the same
An assembly for a fuel injector includes a base material, a coated region formed on a surface of the base material, an uncoated region formed on a surface of the base material, in contact with and supported by a jig, and formed to be partitioned from the coated region so as to prevent the coated region from peeling off during laser welding, and a coating material stacked in a multilayer structure on the coated region. As a result, friction reduction, high hardness, impact resistance, heat resistance, and durability of the assembly may be improved, and a portion requiring the coating may be precisely coated.
Steel fuel conveying pipe
Provided is a steel fuel conveying pipe with high quality which has high resistance to corrosive fuel and followability, and allows working after plating. The steel fuel conveying pipe is characterized in that a Ni-plate layer is formed on an inner surface of a steel pipe of base material, the Ni-plated layer is wholly composed of a mutual diffusion layer including the base material and Ni and a non-mutual diffusion layer including only Ni formed on an outermost surface of the diffusion layer, a layer thickness of the non-mutual diffusion layer is 3 m or more, and a total layer thickness of the mutual diffusion layer and the non-mutual diffusion layer is 10 m or more and 25 m or less.
FUEL INJECTION VALVE
A fuel injection valve includes a body that includes an injection hole through which fuel is injected, and a valve element that opens or closes the injection hole. The body includes a metallic base material configured to form the injection hole, a corrosion-resistant layer covering a surface of at least a part of the base material that forms the injection hole and being made of a less corrosive material than the base material, and a sacrificial corrosion layer located between the base material and the corrosion-resistant layer and made of a more corrosive material than the corrosion-resistant layer.
FUEL INJECTION VALVE
A fuel injection valve includes a body that includes an injection hole through which fuel is injected, and a valve element that opens or closes the injection hole. The body includes a metallic base material configured to form the injection hole, a corrosion-resistant layer covering a surface of at least a part of the base material that forms the injection hole and being made of a less corrosive material than the base material, and a diffusion deterring layer located between the base material and the corrosion-resistant layer and made of a material that less easily allows a metal component of the base material to diffuse than the material of the corrosion-resistant layer.
