The bypass system includes a throttle valve operatively coupled to the pump discharge nozzle, and a bypass line provided at the multistage pump. The bypass line is conducts flow from the throttle valve to a clearance gap of an axial thrust balancing arrangement. The throttle valve may be actuated to adjust a balancing flow through the bypass line such that pressure at the clearance gap is adjusted to increase and decrease fluid pressure at the clearance gap to balance axial thrust at different operating states of the multistage pump.
Centrifugal Pump and Method for Status Detection of a Centrifugal Pump
A pump arrangement for conveying a liquid, in particular for conveying waste water or service water, includes a pump housing and an impeller rotatably arranged in the pump housing about a rotation axis for conveying the liquid. At least one sensor, in particular a 3D sensor, is present for detecting a surface of the impeller to sense an extent of build-up on the impeller. The at least one sensor is arranged on and/or in the pump housing.
Rotating diffuser pump
A centrifugal pump with a rotating impeller and a rotating diffuser. The diffuser may be rotated with a controlled speed to broaden the operational range of the pump. Such control may be done independently of the rotational speed of the impeller to tailor pump operation to a particular NPSH, efficiency, fluid flow or related requirement. In one preferred form, the impeller and diffuser are made to counter-rotate relative to one another, while the independent rotational speed of each may be provided by one or more motors, as well as a variable-speed transmission coupled to such motor or motors. Such a pump is optimized for specific speed operating ranges beneath those associated with axial flow pump configurations.
Aquaculture net cleaning system
An apparatus for cleaning nets underwater formed from a propeller housing with a centrally disposed axis with a plurality of blades extending therefrom. An outer perimeter ring secured to an outer tip of each blade with a plurality of knuckles secured to the outer perimeter ring. Each knuckle including a curved surface constructed and arranged to be forcefully presented to the aquaculture net upon rotation of said blades for removal of growth by impact and shaking of the aquaculture net. An elastomeric hub prevents spike loads.
PUMP CASING AND MAGNET PUMP INCLUDING THE SAME
A pump casing defines an inner space including an inlet into which a fluid is introduced, a flow path through which the fluid is introduced from the inlet and discharged to the outside, and an arrangement space in which an impeller rotated about a predetermined central axis is disposed so as to guide flow of the fluid. The pump casing includes a suction casing which forms the inlet, a volute casing which forms the flow path, and the introduced fluid is discharged to the outside by the impeller. The volute casing forms the arrangement space in which the impeller is disposed, and the pump casing further includes a fluid guide device which is disposed in the inner space to guide movement of the fluid which is moved from the inlet toward the arrangement space.
MOTOR VEHICLE PUMP ARRANGEMENT AND MOUNTING ARRANGEMENT FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE PUMP ARRANGEMENT
A motor vehicle pump arrangement includes a pumping unit and a mounting arrangement. The pumping unit has a substantially cylindrical pumping unit housing and at least one support protrusion which radially protrudes from the pumping unit housing. The mounting arrangement mounts the pumping unit to a motor vehicle mounting structure corresponding thereto. The mounting arrangement has a ring-shaped pump support body. The pump support body radially surrounds and supports the pumping unit and is attachable to the motor vehicle mounting structure. An axial side of the pump support body includes a castellated structure having axially extending merlons and protrusion receptacles. One protrusion receptacle is arranged between two adjacent merlons. The support protrusion engages with at least one of the protrusion receptacles.
MOTOR VEHICLE PUMP ARRANGEMENT AND MOUNTING ARRANGEMENT FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE PUMP ARRANGEMENT
A motor vehicle pump arrangement includes a pumping unit having engagement steps, and a mounting arrangement which mounts the pumping unit to a motor vehicle mounting structure which corresponds to the pumping unit. The mounting arrangement includes a vibration-decoupling body having a ring shape, and a clip retainer which is attached to the vibration-decoupling body. The vibration-decoupling body radially surrounds the pumping unit, supports the pumping unit, and is attachable to the motor vehicle mounting structure. The clip retainer axially retains the pumping unit. The clip retainer includes a retainer frame which extends in a transversal pumping unit plane and which is axially supported by the vibration-decoupling body, and retainer arms which axially project from the retainer frame. Each of the retainer arms engages a respective one of the corresponding engagement steps of the pumping unit so as to axially retain the pumping unit.
Method for filtering water in a basin, filtration unit for implementing said method and centrifugal hydraulic pump associated with said filtration unit
The present invention relates to a filtration unit for filtering the water in a pool or basin, in particular a swimming pool, said unit being mounted behind a wall of said pool, and communicating with said pool via a suction intake (3, 6) and via a delivery orifice to generate a forced flow of water from and back into the pool through a filtration tank and through a suction column by means of centrifugal hydraulic pump. The centrifugal hydraulic pump has an electric motor coupled to a centrifugal turbine housed in a pump body. The electric motor is a sealed, brushless, autonomously controlled motor that is powered at very low voltage and that may advantageously be immersed inside the filtration unit below the level of the water contained in said pool, thereby enabling said motor to be cooled and sound-proofed naturally by the forced flow of the water from the pool, thereby forming a filtration unit and a pool that have low energy consumption.
Pump assembly with a vertical pump arranged in a canister
A pump assembly includes a vertical pump arranged in a canister. The vertical pump includes a pump column disposed between a pump head and a pump bowl in an axial direction. The pump is arranged in the pump column and is configured to pump a fluid a column inlet at the pump bowl to a column outlet at the pump head. The pump column is supported so as to be stabilized by at least two damping arms disposed on an outer surface of the pump column, and each damping arm has an support end to support a respective damping arm on an inner surface of the canister in a radial direction perpendicular to the axial direction. Each support end is movable independently from each other support end with respect to the axial direction.
Centrifugal pump having a housing and a volute casing wherein the volute casing has a tear-drop shaped inner wall defined by a circular body region and a converging apex with the inner wall comprising a blocker below at least one perimeter end of one diffuser blade
A centrifugal pump to improve the efficiency of fluid flow, and minimize long term wear on the pump by progressively increasing fluid pressure as fluid moves from an eye of an impeller towards diffuser blades, into the volute and out through an outlet that is medio-laterally aligned with an inlet. The fluid pressure is increased by progressively increasing the volume through which the fluid travels. A tear-drop shaped volute casing surrounding the diffuser and impeller creates a pocket of maximum pressure just below the outlet. A dampener dampens the vibration of the motor. A cylindrical basket strainer is provided with a flat face abutting against the volute casing to distribute pressure evenly. A clamp ring is provided to easily seal and access the basket strainer using a plain rod.
