A game system relating to multi-player card games, the game system including: a game-board module having a plurality of peripheral edges, the plurality of peripheral edges containing at least one abuttable edge configured to be placeable in abutment with at least one other abuttable edge of the game system. In addition, the game-board module includes a first surface having a plurality of full spaces depicted thereon, each one identifying a positional piece location, the plurality of full spaces arranged in rows, and a plurality of half spaces, each one identifying one half of a positional piece location, the plurality of half spaces contiguous with the at least one abuttable edge and configured to form full spaces when the abuttable edge is abutted with at least one other abuttable edge of the game system.

A method of playing a combination crossword and anagram game is disclosed. By manipulating movable tabular letter tiles or their digital, electronic or other equivalents, players take turns building a single free-form grid of intersecting words, crossword style, on any suitable surface. Each letter in each new word is worth one point, so game play favors long words. There is no game board, so the grid can grow in any direction, without constraint. Words are not locked in place, so they can be relocated at will to a different part of the grid in order to make room for the placement of new words. Furthermore, any individual word in the grid can be changed into another word by the addition and/or subtraction of letters, or even detached from the grid so that its letters can be used to create a new word. The game encourages and rewards anagrams.

A numerical sequence board game. The numerical sequence board game includes a gridded board and corresponding playing pieces. The hexagonal-shaped playing pieces may be placed on corresponding hexagonal grids on the gridded board during game play. Each playing piece may include numerical indicia that can be used to form numerical sequences with other playing pieces, wherein the numerical sequences may be formed in one or more directions on the gridded board.

A gaming hardware device is disclosed having an interactive gaming platform that can be connected to a multi-purpose central console. The electronics for making an interactive board game are divided so that a minimal part is in an interactive platform that includes the game board, while all the logic and processing part is relegated to a central console that can be reused also for other interactive platforms. Digital gameboard systems and devices for providing games and interactive content to two or more co-located users are described, as well as methods of using the same. A gameboard device of the present disclosure comprises a housing with a screen extending across the top thereof, and a mobile computer positioned within the housing. At least a portion of the device's screen comprises a touchscreen technology. Additionally, at least a portion of the gameboard device is foldable about at least one axis. Methods of using the devices and systems hereof are also provided, an exemplary method including the steps of downloading content to the aforementioned device, receiving input from at least two co-located users via the screen of the digital gameboard device, and displaying output via the screen of the digital gameboard device to the two or more co-located users in connection with the gaming program.

The game board may comprise: a primary playing surface, cubbies, colored sections, an inner wall, and an outer wall. The primary playing surface may comprise a marking and may be surrounded and defined by an inner wall. The invention is a board game in which players are in control of 2 supercharged Astro Racers that are ready for blast-off in a mad dash around the Solar System. Players collect power-ups while trying to avoid hazardous meteors, aliens and worm holes that can teleport them around a playing board. The first player to get both of their Astro Racers back to Earth wins the game.

A football board game for playing a game board version of football between opposing players is provided. The game comprises a game table having a top surface, a bottom surface, and a side wall around the complete perimeter of the game table. First and second legs are secured to the bottom surface of the game table with the legs extendable to support the game table above a surface and retractable to a position against the bottom surface of the game table. A carpeted football field is mounted to the top surface of the game table and configured to represent a standard football field and marked appropriately with yard lines, goal lines, and yardage. Two field goalposts are positionable on opposite ends of the football field. Also included are a set of thirty-two NFL cards, a pair of dice, two team figure helmets, and two yellow time out cards.

Provided herein are various types of foldable game boards and foldable objects which include a plurality of elongated base panels each of which has an inner surface, an outer surface, and a side panel oriented perpendicularly on each end. The inner surface is capable securely holding game pieces when in an open configuration. The game boards and objects described herein can be folded to a closed configuration to form a hollow polygonal prism. This configuration gives rise to a space for the storage of pieces on the inner surface of the elongated base panels during closed configuration and includes magnetic plates underneath for the purpose of holding pieces in place to save the game state at any point.
