WALLBOARD FASTENER
20170227034 · 2017-08-10 ·

A fastener configured to catch the edges of a plurality of wallboards with the use of one anchoring element is disclosed. The fastener comprises a convex plate of circular shape having an anchoring hole, which is configured to allow the insertion of an anchoring element, located at the center of the convex plate. The method for using such a fastener comprises placing the fastener at a location where the surface of the convex plate covers a plurality of edges of a plurality of wallboards; inserting an anchoring element (e.g., a screw or nail) through the anchoring hole so that the anchoring element anchors onto a support element; upon completion of insertion of an anchoring element, the surface of the convex plate will be essentially flat and flush with the surface of the plurality of hoards.

FLOATING FIXING COMPONENT AND MOUNTING METHOD THEREOF
20220034344 · 2022-02-03 ·

A floating fixing component and a mounting method thereof are introduced. The floating fixing component includes at least a stop section and an application section. The stop section is used to abut against an object to prevent the floating fixing component from separating from the object. The floating fixing component and the object have a floating space existed between them, such that the floating fixing component can float and shift on and relative to the object. With these arrangements, the floating fixing component can be mounted to an object while the application section can be fastened to or disconnected from another object. In this manner, at least two objects can be repeatedly and quickly connected to and disconnected from one another.

COMPRESSION-LIMITING FASTENER FOR ATTACHING INTAKE MANIFOLD FLANGE HAVING COMPLIANCE RING TO CAM COVER
20170218889 · 2017-08-03 ·

A compression limiting fastener assembly includes a plastic intake manifold having an attachment flange and a molded and tuned compliance ring formed on the attachment side of the flange, a plastic cam cover having a threaded attachment insert, a compression limiting bolt fastener for attaching the intake manifold to the cam cover, and a spring stem compression limiter that, when fully threaded into its attachment position, prevents over-compression and possible damage to the plastic components while providing 100% compression. The compliant ring of the intake manifold is concentric with a fastener bore formed through the intake manifold attachment flange. The spring stem compression limiter includes a tubular body having an upper end and a lower end. A spring stem flange is attached to the upper end of the tubular body while a depth limiting flange is attached to the lower end.

Fastener having a damping function

A fastener having a damping function with which at least a first and a second component can be connected via a screw connection. The fastener consists of the following components: an elastically deformable outer sleeve, a support sleeve arranged therein and a screw sleeve with telescopic portion arranged in the outer sleeve. When establishing the connection between the components, the outer sleeve folds, whereby the support sleeve and the screw sleeve are moved into each other.

VIBRATION REDUCTION DEVICE, ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND MOBILE EQUIPMENT CONTAINING SAME
20170322602 · 2017-11-09 ·

The present disclosure relates to a vibration reduction device, an electronic device and mobile equipment containing same. The vibration reduction device comprises: a first fixing component (10) which is a frame structure (11); a second fixing component (100) arranged in the center or near the center position of the first fixing component (10); and a vibration reduction connecting component (50) positioned between the first fixing component (10) and the second fixing component (100) and used for connecting both together. The vibration reduction connecting component (50) comprises a vibration reduction connecting frame (53) connected to the frame structure (11), and an inverted U-shaped structure (51) positioned in the vibration reduction connecting frame (53), connected to the lower part of the vibration reduction connecting frame (53) through supporting legs and connected with the second fixing component (100). It is especially able to protect electronic products and precision electronic equipment installed on mobile equipment, such as a vehicle, against physical damage while under severe travelling conditions, as well as ensure their normal operation. The vibration reduction device according to the present disclosure not only has a simple structure and occupies little space, but also has simple installation and long service life, and can be suitable for varying load conditions.

Textured sleeves for fasteners
09759246 · 2017-09-12 · ·

A fastener adapted to be installed in a hole of a composite structure includes a sleeve, a pin member, and a locking member. The sleeve has an outer surface having an outer diameter. The outer surface of the sleeve is textured. The outer diameter of the tubular portion is less than an inner diameter of the hole of the structure. The pin member has a shank portion. The sleeve is adapted to expand radially over the shank portion of the pin member to form an interference fit between the outer surface of the sleeve and the hole of the structure so as to provide an installed position of the fastener. When the fastener is in the installed position, the texture of the outer surface of the tubular portion deforms to engage with voids of the composite material present on the inner surface of the hole.
