Wall Mountable Bracket Assembly
20220136233 · 2022-05-05 ·

A bracket assembly isolates shear forces from fasteners to realize the full tensile load capability of the fasteners. The fasteners extend from a base plate and are embedded within a structure such as a poured concrete wall. Receptacles defined by the base plate receive bosses which extend from a mounting plate which overlies the base plate. The fasteners also retain the mounting plate to the base plate. Shear forces applied in the plane of the mounting plate are reacted between the bosses and the receptacles, the fasteners being isolated from the shear forces using oversized holes in the mounting plate to ensure that the fasteners experience primarily tensile loads.

A multipart socket-like glue-in retainer which is fastenable in a component opening in an adhesive manner in a component opening and which is configured in at least two parts and thus in an opening manner in radial direction due to an axial separation, so that only before a gluing-in of the glue-in retainer in a component opening, a functional insert is arrangeable in the glue-in retainer and after the gluing-in of the glue-in retainer in the component opening, the functional insert is retained inseparably in the glue-in retainer.

Connecting member and connecting method for redirecting flowable material

A connecting member includes a fastening portion configured to be fastened to an object by an adhesive. The connecting member includes at least one supply opening for supplying the adhesive and at least one discharge opening for discharging a part of the adhesive, wherein the at least one supply opening and the at least one discharge opening are arranged outside of a fastening portion or at least outside of a fastening area. A channel connecting the at least one supply opening and the at least one discharge opening is configured to direct the flow of adhesive. The channel includes an open channel portion that at least partly extends on a surface of the fastening portion and that comprises at least one redirecting portion configured to redirect the flow of adhesive between the at least one supply opening and the at least one discharge opening.

ADHESIVE MEMBER

Provided is an adhesive member including a first member, a second member, and a dismantlable adhesive layer, at least parts of the first member and the second member being bonded via the dismantlable adhesive layer, in which the first member contains a resin, and includes a notch provided in a surface of the first member in contact with the dismantlable adhesive layer, the second member contains a material different from the resin, and the dismantlable adhesive layer contains a thermally expandable material.

ANCHORING OF CONNECTOR ELEMENT

A method of anchoring a lightweight building element having a first building layer and an interlining layer distally of the first building layer, and possibly a second building layer distally of the interlining layer. For anchoring, the distal end of a connector element is inserted into a mounting hole in the lightweight building element, and also a sleeve including a thermoplastic material is inserted into the mounting hole, the sleeve enclosing the connector element. Then, a distally facing liquefaction face of the sleeve is caused to be in contact with a proximally facing support face of the connector element. Energy impinges to liquefy at least a flow portion of the thermoplastic material of the sleeve, and the liquefaction face is pressed against the support face to cause at least a fraction of the flow portion to flow radially outward. After the flow portion has re-solidified, it anchors the connector element in the receiving object.

Hybrid screw, with thread reaching further back than wedge
20230279891 · 2023-09-07 ·

A screw having a shank, wherein the shank has a tip end, a rear end, and a longitudinal axis extending through the tip end and through the rear end, wherein the tip end and the rear end are opposite ends of the shank, and a screw thread, which is connected to the shank, and which winds around the shank, wherein a wedge groove is provided in the shank, which wedge groove winds around the shank and extends alongside at least a section of the screw thread, wherein the wedge groove is delimited by a rearwardly tapered wedge flank for wedging a grout shell surrounding the shank. The screw thread extends further towards the rear end of the shank than does the wedge groove.
