Integrated Screen with USB and HDMI for Game Console
The present invention is a portable gaming and entertainment system (or “environment”) for use with a video game console and related components that allows the user thereof to easily, safely and conveniently transport the system. The system comprises an integrated screen with USB and HDMI capabilities that connect directly to the video game console. The integrated screen contains monitor and speaker, and is operative to be opened and maintained at a position to provide a desirable viewing angle for a user. The integrated screen closes against the video game console so that the user may easily transport and/or store the entire system.
Companion display module to a main display screen for displaying auxiliary information not displayed by the main display screen and a processing method therefor
There is provided an electronic device operable with a computer. The computer can be configured to run/execute a program which can be associated with graphic based data and audio based data. The computer can include a main display screen which can be configured to display information based on graphic based data. The electronic device can include a display module which can be configured to display auxiliary information. Auxiliary information displayed by the display module, but not the main display, is derivable based on audio based data.

Information processing system, information processing apparatus, computer-readable storage medium having stored therein information processing program, and information processing method
A plurality of game apparatuses function as a master, a client, and an audience. The master and the client register each other by performing therebetween an authentication process. The authentication process is not performed between the master and the audience. The audience receives a beacon from the master and registers the master in an own apparatus while the audience is not registered in the master. The master and the client execute a predetermined program, exchanging data by communicating with each other. The audience receives the data exchanged between the master and the client, and executes the predetermined program using the received data, thereby watches a game which is progressed between the master and the client, as a spectator.
Reality vs virtual reality racing
A method for displaying a virtual vehicle includes: calculating a virtual world comprising the virtual vehicle and a representation of a physical object at a virtual position; calculating a virtual position of a point of view within the virtual world based on a position of the point of view at the racecourse; and calculating a portion of the virtual vehicle within the virtual world that is visible from the virtual position of the point of view, wherein the portion of the virtual vehicle visible from the virtual position of the point of view comprises a portion of the virtual vehicle that is unobscured, from the virtual position of the point of view, by the representation of the physical object at the virtual position of the physical object.

GAME PROGRAM, GAME METHOD, AND INFORMATION TERMINAL DEVICE
An operation target image is displayed at a first position, which is set in advance, of a touch screen and a range image capable of specifying a first range which is set in advance and includes the first position is displayed. A drag operation on the operation target image is received from a user to move a display position of the operation target image to a position within the first range depending on a current position of the drag operation. A first game control is executed in accordance with the first position and the display position of the operation target image. A tap operation on the first range is received from the user to execute a second game control regardless of whether the tap operation is an operation for the operation target image.
INPUT DEVICE
Disclosed herein is an input device including: a plurality of input members; an upper surface having a right region in which a part of the plurality of input members is disposed, a left region in which another part of the plurality of input members is disposed, and a center region that is a region between the right region and the left region; and a light emitting region formed along an outer edge of the center region. The light emitting region includes a first light emitting portion configured to indicate identification information assigned to a plurality of input devices connected to an information processing apparatus, and a second light emitting portion configured to emit light based on information different from the identification information.
IMAGE DISPLAY SYSTEM, MOVING IMAGE DISTRIBUTION SERVER, IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS, AND MOVING IMAGE DISTRIBUTION METHOD
A server performs a part of a forming process necessary for conversion into formats corresponding to display modes of a head mounted display and a flat-plate display connected to an image processing apparatus, and transmits a processing result to the image processing apparatus. At this time, the server switches the part of the process to transmit any one of a pair of a left-eye image and a right-eye image, an image suited for the flat-plate display, and an image constituted by a left-eye image and a right-eye image to each of which distortion for an ocular lens has been given.
SYSTEM AND METHOD OF HEAD MOUNTED DISPLAY PERSONALISATION
A personalisation system configured to perform head mounted display personalisation comprises a head mounted display ‘HMD’ includes: at least a first video camera, a simultaneous localization and mapping processor configured to detect feature points of a real world environment captured by the at least first video camera when the HMD is worn by a user, a user identification processor configured to identify the user responsive to at least a subset of the detected feature points of the real world environment, a personalisation processor configured to personalise at least a first aspect of presenting graphical content to the user with the HMD in response to identification of the user, and a storage processor operable to store, in a memory, personalisation information in association with the identification of the user for subsequent use.
