Methods, systems, and devices of providing portions of recorded game content in response to a trigger
Embodiments include a system that incorporates the subject disclosure may include, for example, detecting a current trigger during a video game and determining a group of players involved in the current trigger. Further embodiments include recording a trigger clip of game content for each player in the group of players resulting in a group of trigger clips. Each trigger clip of the group of trigger clips is a portion of game content that includes the current trigger from a perspective of each player of the group of players. Additional embodiments include providing the group of trigger clips to a group of gaming devices over a communication network. Each gaming device of the group of gaming devices is associated with one player of the group of players. Additional embodiments are disclosed.
Peripheral Devices Having Dynamic Weight Distribution to Convey Sense of Weight in HMD Environments
Methods and systems for adjusting a weight of a peripheral device while presenting content to a head mounted display are disclosed. One method includes processing instructions for rendering a virtual reality scene in the head mounted display. The virtual reality scene includes a virtual object. The method also includes receiving pairing of the peripheral device for use with the head mounted display for rendering the virtual reality scene and determining a movement of the virtual object. The method causes sending of instructions to the peripheral device for execution by a controller of the peripheral device to move a weight in the peripheral device. The weight is moved to provide a correlation to the determined movement of the virtual object.

DATA MINING, INFLUENCING VIEWER SELECTIONS, AND USER INTERFACES
A narrative includes a number of serially connected narrative segments combined by a director or editor in a defined sequence to tell a story. A number of different narrative segments are available to the director or editor. A content delivery editor provides editors and directors with the ability to augment a narrative with additional narrative segments that provide alternate perspectives, views, or insights to the consumer. Such allows conveyance of the same narrative to the consumer using a number of plots or perspectives. Branch points in the narrative provide the consumer the opportunity to follow a storyline they find interesting. Each consumer follows a “personalized” path through the narrative. The director or editor may influence selection at branch points by providing priming stimuli prior to presentation of a prompt to select a branch and by optionally providing target stimuli during presentation of the prompt to select a branch.
Variable—resistance exercise machine with network communication for smart device control and brainwave entrainment
A variable-resistance exercise machine with network communication for smart device control and brainwave entrainment, comprising an exercise machine with a plurality of moving surfaces, that each provide an independent degree of resistance to movement, a sensor that detects movement and provides output to a controller, a brainwave entrainment manager that selects a brainwave entrainment frequency based on the sensor output, and a controller that receives an input from a user device, changes the operation of the plurality of moving surfaces based on the input, and sends the brainwave entrainment frequency to the user device.
STIMULUS PRESENTATION APPARATUS, STIMULUS PRESENTATION METHOD AND PROGRAM
A stimulus presentation device 13 that stimulates a user with air from a plurality of air guns 14 arranged so as to surround the user includes a control unit 132 that determines respective ejection times at which a plurality of air streams are to be ejected at given time intervals which allow the user to perceive an apparent motion as well as respective ejection azimuth directions in which the plurality of air streams are to be ejected and causes the air streams to be sequentially ejected from the respective air guns 14 disposed in the individual ejection azimuth directions at the individual ejection times and an adjustment unit that determines a plurality of different body sites on a body of the user to which the plurality of air streams are to be applied and adjusts respective ejection angles of the individual air guns 14 such that respective muzzles of the air guns 14 are pointed at the plurality of body sites.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DYNAMIC SYNCHRONIZATION BETWEEN REAL AND VIRTUAL ENVIRONMENTS
The invention relates to a mixed reality system for dynamic synchronization between real and virtual environments, allowing a virtual stimulus superimposed on or near a real object in a real world location to create a physical reaction in the real world, as if the virtual stimulus were real. The system comprises reactive piece(s) and a mechanism for tracking the reactive piece(s), a stimulizing mechanism for translating user motions into virtual stimuli, and a virtuality-reality synchronizer to compute appropriate reaction parameters of reactive piece(s) to a virtual stimulus, as if the stimulus were really applied to the physical piece. Each reactive piece has a reaction mechanism, e.g. a moving or vibrating component, actuated by a signal comprising the reaction parameters. When the reaction mechanism is actuated it can, for example, destabilize the object in a predetermined manner. Destabilization can be varied to reflect the power or effectiveness of the virtual stimulus.

INFORMATION OUTPUT APPARATUS, INFORMATION OUTPUT METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY RECORDING MEDIUM
An information output apparatus is realized that is capable of notifying information based on an input voice content. An information output apparatus according to the present embodiment includes an input unit to which data indicating a sound are input from an outside, a voice extraction unit that analyzes data which are input from the input unit and indicate a sound and that extracts data which indicate a voice emitted by a person, a vibration generation unit that generates vibration data, which are associated with data indicating a sound in advance set, based on a result of a comparison between the data which indicate the voice and are extracted by the voice extraction unit and the data indicating the sound in advance set, and a vibrator that vibrates based on the vibration data generated by the vibration generation unit.
REALITY VS VIRTUAL REALITY RACING
A method for displaying a virtual vehicle includes: calculating a virtual world comprising the virtual vehicle and a representation of a physical object at a virtual position; calculating a virtual position of a point of view within the virtual world based on a position of the point of view at the racecourse; and calculating a portion of the virtual vehicle within the virtual world that is visible from the virtual position of the point of view, wherein the portion of the virtual vehicle visible from the virtual position of the point of view comprises a portion of the virtual vehicle that is unobscured, from the virtual position of the point of view, by the representation of the physical object at the virtual position of the physical object.
