PITOT TUBE HEATER ASSEMBLY
A pitot tube includes an outer tube extending from a first tube end to second tube end. The second tube end defines a tip portion of the pitot tube. A tube sleeve is located inside of the outer tube and defines a tube passage extending from the first tube end to the second tube end. A heating element is located between the outer tube and the tube sleeve. The heating element is isolated from airflow into the tube passage. A method of forming a pitot tube includes installing a heating element to an outer surface of a tube sleeve, the tube sleeve defining a tube passage of the pitot tube. The tube sleeve is secured in an outer tube such that the heating element is between the tube sleeve and the outer tube and is isolated from airflow through the tube passage.
Garden hose with metal sheath
A garden hose with an outer flexible sheath of spirally wound and linked turns of sheet material, an inner tube of flexible polymer inside the sheath and end couplers with nipples press fit into ends of the tube and connector mechanisms connecting the couplers to the outer sheath. Each connector mechanism has inner and outer press fit shells at the end of the sheath, with flared ends separated by a washer.
Structure of resin-made pipe joint
A structure of a resin-made pipe joint includes a sleeve which is press-insertable from one axial side into one longitudinal end portion of a flexible tube to flare the one longitudinal end portion to hold the flared state, a joint body which is couplable to the sleeve, and a union nut which is fastenable to the joint body to hold a state where the sleeve press-inserted into the one longitudinal end portion is coupled to the joint body. The sleeve has a taper-like first outer circumferential surface, a second outer circumferential surface having an outer diameter that is smaller than a maximum outer diameter of the first outer circumferential surface, and an annular step portion which is an annular step portion that is disposed between the first outer circumferential surface and the second outer circumferential surface and comprises an edge portion on a side of the first outer circumferential surface.
CONNECTOR WITH APPARATUS FOR RELIEVING TORSIONAL STRAIN ON SEALING ELEMENTS
A connector which relieves a sealing element of torsional strain having a first threaded engagement, optionally, a second threaded engagement, a void therethrough for receiving a tube, and a sleeve positioned between each threaded engagement and the void. The sleeve relieves the tube of torsional strain from rotating the connector.
Conduit with connector and assembly thereof
A fluid supply line is provided to reduce the labor and cost required for dripline system installations by providing predetermined fitting locations where driplines can be attached. The supply line consists of a conduit having a side wall, a connector extending through the side wall of the conduit, the connector having a conduit connecting segment extending outside the conduit and an inlet segment extending into the conduit, and the inlet segment being connected to the side wall of the conduit.
HOSE COUPLING
A hose coupling 1 includes a nipple 3 in which a tubular part for inserting a hose 2 externally, an annular groove part for inserting a tip of the hose 2, and an attachment part for a separate part are formed in that order along the hose insertion direction A; a nut 4 having a screw part that is screwed onto the outer circumferential surface of the nipple 3 in a state that the tip of the hose 2 is inserted into the annular groove part, and a thickened part that is continuously formed from the screw part and located on the outer circumferential surface of the tubular part; and a sleeve 5 interposed between the tubular part and the thickened part, wherein the sleeve 5 has a thickness reduced part 10 on the inner circumferential surface thereof.
Hydraulic coupling system
A hydraulic coupling system is configured to couple a hydraulic hose to a hydraulic cylinder and includes: a compressive adapter assembly including: a first adapter portion configured to receive a portion of the hydraulic hose, and a second adapter portion configured to engage an inlet tube of the hydraulic cylinder, wherein a first tube portion of the inlet tube of the hydraulic cylinder is configured to be received within a portion of the hydraulic hose; and a compressive sleeve assembly configured to engage the compressive adapter assembly and radially compress the first adapter portion of the compressive adapter assembly onto an outer surface of the portion of the hydraulic hose, thus compressing an inner surface of the portion of the hydraulic hose onto the first tube portion of the inlet tube of the hydraulic cylinder.
Water pipe
A water pipe includes a pipe body (1), a woven layer (2) sleeved around the pipe body (1), a first joint assembly (3) arranged at one end of the pipe body (1) and secured to the pipe body (1), and a second joint assembly (4) arranged at another end of the pipe body (1) and secured to the pipe body (1); the woven layer (2) includes bamboo charcoal fibers and polypropylene filaments. The woven layer (2) is sleeved around the pipe body (1) and is not connected with the pipe body (1), and the woven layer (2) includes bamboo charcoal fibers and polypropylene filaments. Bamboo charcoal fibers have the functions of resisting bacteria and removing peculiar smell and can effectively prevent the generation of bacteria on the water pipe and the emission of peculiar smell when the water pipe is used in humid outdoor environments.
IRRIGATION-SYSTEM-COUPLING DEVICE AND METHODS OF USE
The inventive disclosures described herein pertain to an improved irrigation-system-coupling device, with a length-adjustment feature, that is designed to provide a coupling between polymeric irrigation-system hosing/tubing and a water-supply valve, such as solenoid-operated control/supply valves commonly used in automated irrigation systems. The length-adjustment configuration allows for easy installation in the field without the need to splice additional lengths of hosing/tubing in situations where various environmental conditions and/or necessitated repairs to or removal of sections of hoses/tubing has caused an extra gap between a supply-valve manifold housing and the end of the existing hose/tubing.
RESIN TUBE FITTING
A resin tube fitting prevents backwaters between its body and inner ring. The fitting includes a body, an inner ring, and a union nut. The body has main, outer, and inner sleeves, and a groove. The inner ring has a cylinder, an insert, and outer and inner protrusions. The union nut has a body and a pressing member. The inner sleeve has a through hole serving as a channel. The inner protrusion extends from the cylinder to an axial direction to contact the inner sleeve. The inner protrusion has a through hole serving as another channel connected with the inner sleeve's channel. The tip of the inner protrusion has an inner diameter not less than the minimum inner diameter of the inner sleeve. An inner peripheral surface is located at the inner periphery of the inner protrusion and causes it to reduce in inner diameter toward another axial direction.
