Providing visual references to prevent motion sickness in vehicles
Systems and methods to provide visual references to passengers in vehicles to prevent motion sickness. The system can include a controller and one or more projectors and/or displays. The controller can detect movement of a vehicle and project images within the vehicle that comport with the detected movement. The system can include a projector to project images on the interior of the vehicle. The system can include one or more displays to display images inside the vehicle. The controller can receive data from one or more cameras, accelerometers, navigation units, magnetometers, and other components to detect the motion of the vehicle. The system can display visual references on the dashboard, door panels, and other interior surfaces to complete the view of passengers, or provide other visual reference, to prevent motion sickness.

SYSTEM, METHOD, AND SMART DEVICE FOR AUTHENTICATION OF PRODUCTS AND INTERACTION WITH A VIRTUAL ENVIRONMENT
A system and method for identifying and authenticating a physical article to a virtual environment. A physical article, such as a decorative pin used in gameplay or some purchased article with anti-counterfeiting tag information, may be scanned by a mobile device and verified by a mobile device application. Such a process may uniquely identify a product as being associated with one particular customer, which may limit counterfeiting and may also allow the article to be incorporated in some form into a game or other virtual environment, such as in the form of an accessory for a game character.
SYSTEM, METHOD AND GRAPHICAL USER INTERFACE FOR CONTROLLING A GAME
An electronic device includes a display screen, and computing hardware to execute a software product. Executing the software product results in generating and rendering a graphical user interface on the display screen to facilitate user interaction. The graphical user interface, when rendered, presents one or more graphical objects, a pointer object configured to be movable over one or more of the one or more graphical objects, and configured to invoke a menu list containing one or more user selectable options as the pointer object is clicked or tapped over the one or more of the one or more of the graphical objects. A user selectable option is selected the pointer object swipes a touch sensitive object and the software product can maintain an effect corresponding to the selected option to be applied to the graphical objects and enable a change in status of the graphical objects
Method and apparatus for adapting to gaming venue states
A system that incorporates teachings of the present disclosure may include, for example, a method for detecting that a gaming system has presented a first of a plurality of gaming venue states of a game, presenting a first of a plurality of screen shots at a display responsive to detecting the first gaming venue state, detecting that the gaming system has transitioned to a presentation of a second of the plurality of venue states, and presenting a second of the plurality of screen shots at the display responsive to detecting the second gaming venue state. Additional embodiments are disclosed.
Route navigation system within a game application environment
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a route navigation system that can aid the user by providing navigational aids for navigating within a virtual game environment. The navigational aids can provide visual indications to the user within the game environment in order to help direct the character to navigation objects used for traversing the environment. The navigation information used for navigation within the game environment can be determined based on a route navigation grid. A navigation module can utilize the navigation grid to help users navigate characters within the game environments of the game application. The route navigation grid can be generated based on aggregated route information and telemetry data associated with a plurality of users of the game application. The route generation module can be configured to automatically generate navigation links between navigation nodes within game environment based on telemetric data sourced from users of the game application.

MODULAR MULTI-SYSTEM GAMING CONSOLE
A modular multi-system gaming console can be configurable for use in conjunction with expansion consoles (also referred to as expansion modules, expansion units, and/or element modules herein) as a gaming console emulator and/or for use as an audio/video converter (e.g., an up-converter), data recorder, or streaming device. Further, the modular multi-system gaming console can evoke the original gaming experience of a game played on original hardware. A modular multi-system gaming console can provide a consistent platform for display, content management, statistical storage and analysis (e.g., high scores, fastest speed runs, etc.), and live streaming and other services (including core services described herein) across a multitude of gaming console platforms. A modular multi-system gaming console can also provide a more authentic game experience via active cartridge reading. Further, by providing a flexible and configurable architecture for the modular multi-system gaming console, support for new consoles can be added to the modular multi-system gaming console without requiring users to purchase an entirely new console that repeats hardware for providing the core services.
