Light assembly and a method of securing the light assembly into an opening in a thin wall
A light assembly including a light having a body with a ramp and a threaded opening. The body also has one end and another end having an outwardly extending flange, an elongated light central axis, and an outer surface having the ramp closer to the elongated light central axis at the one end of the light. The ramp is further away from the elongated light central axis near the other end. The light assembly also includes a lock piece having an end, and the lock piece is positioned on the body for movement along the ramp away from the one end, so that the lock piece end moves further away from the elongated central axis as the lock piece moves along the ramp away from the one end. The light assembly also includes a like threaded stem having an elongated axis and received in the threaded opening in the light, the stem being connected to the lock piece so that, as the threaded stem rotates about its elongated axis in the threaded opening, moving away from the light one end, the stem moves the lock piece away from the one end.
Transformer with transparent terminal block
A power transformer assembly is described that includes a light positioned and configured to illuminate a terminal block that is at least partially composed of transparent or translucent materials. Illuminating the terminal block provides additional light in this area to facilitate making or removing wire connections.
Wire-frame and fiberglass holiday motif
A wire-frame and fiberglass holiday motif has multiple pinpoint lights secured and arranged on a wire frame so as to convey a three-dimensional form of the holiday motif. In addition, one or more molded fiberglass portions have been secured to the wire frame and present an outer surface corresponding to an expressive feature of the holiday motif, such as a face. The thickness of the fiberglass has been selected such that it becomes translucent when illuminated by a subset of the pinpoint lights at night proximate to such fiberglass portions. The combination of planar surfaces defined by a pattern of pinpoint lights visible to the user, and one or more portions of molded fiberglass conveying expressive features of the holiday motif enhance viewing of the holiday motif both by day and by night.
Filament lamp
A filament lamp includes a plastic housing, a transfer switch, and a laterally rotary structure. The transfer switch is disposed in the plastic housing, an outer wall of the plastic housing is provided with an opening, the laterally rotary structure is rotatably disposed on the outer wall of the plastic housing, an inner side, close to the plastic housing, of the laterally rotary structure extends to form a drive connecting structure, and the drive connecting structure passes through the opening to be connected with the transfer switch in a transmission way. With the design of the laterally rotary structure, when gears are adjusted by a user, the transfer switch is operated by the drive connecting structure only by rotating the laterally rotary structure on the outer wall of the plastic housing, so as to switch the gears.
OVERMOULDING AN OPTICAL ELEMENT ON A THERMOPLASTIC FRAME
An optical assembly of a light-emitting module, especially of a lighting and/or signalling module, for a motor vehicle, including an optical element, a frame; the optical element being overmoulded on the frame, the frame being shaped so as to make a mechanical attachment between the frame and the optical element following the overmoulding of the optical element on the frame.
Non-welded and anti-deformation lamp base and non-welded and anti-deformation light bulb
The present disclosure relates to the technical field of lamps, and discloses a non-welded and anti-deformation lamp base and a non-welded and anti-deformation light bulb. The lamp base of the present disclosure is integrally molded with the plastic insulating piece to replace a glass insulating piece of the traditional lamp base. The plastic insulating piece has both an environmental protection effect and an inward sinking deformation prevention effect, so that the quality of the light bulb is effectively improved.
Elastomeric Retention Ring For Lamps
A lighting assembly is described, having an elastomeric, cylindrical ring with one or more grooves along its inner surface for engaging various components within an outdoor light assembly. For example, the elastomeric ring can engage with a disc-shaped lens, a light bulb, and/or various areas of the housing of the light assembly.
Interchangeable lighting fixtures for track and wall lighting system
An exchangeable head lighting system may include a canopy and one or more exchangeable lighting heads. The canopy may include a support post configured to receive a connecting post. The support post may provide electrical power to the connecting post. The exchangeable lighting heads may each include a connecting post. The connecting post may be configured to securely interface with the support post such that a rotatable and releasable connection is formed when the connecting post is inserted within the support post. The connecting post may have electrical connections situated to receive electrical power from the support post. The one or more exchangeable lighting heads may include a housing containing a light source.
