SYSTEM AND METHOD OF ADJUSTING ATTRIBUTES OF AN APPLICATION BASED AT LEAST ON A STRESS INDEX ASSOCIATED WITH A USER
In one or more embodiments, one or more systems, one or more methods, and/or one or more processes may: if historical biometric data associated with a user is available is not available, collect the historical biometric data; if the historical biometric data is available, retrieve the historical biometric data; execute an application; display at least a portion of a graphic; determine that a gaze of the user includes the at least the portion of the graphic; determine a stress index threshold associated with the user; determine a stress index associated with the user, accounting for the at least the portion of the graphic exceeding the brightness threshold; determine that the stress index has reached or exceeded the stress index threshold; provide a notification indicating that the first stress index has reached or exceeded the stress index threshold; and reduce one or more stress inducing attributes associated with the application.
Brain Activity Tracking During Electronic Gaming
An illustrative system includes a brain interface system configured to be worn by a user and to output brain activity data representative of brain activity of the user while the user concurrently plays an electronic game and a computing device configured to obtain the brain activity data and modify, based on the brain activity data, an attribute of the electronic game.
APPARATUS HAVING BIOMETRIC SENSORS
In some examples, an apparatus such as an extended reality device can include a handle, an input mechanism, and a biometric sensor located on the input mechanism, where the biometric sensor is to be in contact with an outer surface of a user of the apparatus to measure a physiological state of the user.
Gaming device with rotatably placed cameras
A method to identify positions of fingers of a hand is described. The method includes capturing images of a first hand using a plurality of cameras that are part of a wearable device. The wearable device is attached to a wrist of a second hand and the plurality of cameras of the wearable device is disposed around the wearable device. The method includes repeating capturing of additional images of the first hand, the images and the additional images captured to produce a stream of captured image data during a session of presenting the virtual environment in a head mounted display (HMD). The method includes sending the stream of captured image data to a computing device that is interfaced with the HMD. The computing device is configured to process the captured image data to identify changes in positions of the fingers of the first hand.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ESTIMATING AND PREDICTING EMOTIONAL STATES AND AFFECTS AND PROVIDING REAL TIME FEEDBACK
Systems and methods for estimating emotional states, moods, affects of an individual and providing feedback to the individual or others are disclosed. Systems and methods that provide real time detection and monitoring of physical aspects of an individual and/or aspects of the individual's activity and means of estimating that person's emotional state or affect and change to those are also disclosed. Real time feedback to the individual about the person's emotional change, change or potential change is provided to the user, helping the user cope, adjust or appropriately act on their emotions.
Footwear Having Sensor System
An article of footwear includes an upper member and a sole structure, with a sensor system connected to the sole structure. The sensor system includes a plurality of sensors that are configured for detecting forces exerted by a user's foot on the sensor. The sensor system also includes a port that is configured to receive a module to place the module in communication with the sensors. The port includes a housing with a chamber configured to receive the module and an interface engaged with the housing and having at least one electrical contact exposed to the chamber. Additional retaining structure and interface structure may be included.
BIOFEEDBACK FOR THIRD PARTY GAMING CONTENT
Techniques are disclosed for deploying game-based therapy correlated with, but independent from, an executing game program. In general, game content within a display can be improved with an overlay of visual therapeutic content such as a visual indicator of a current emotional or physiological state, along with visual features or effects that alter game difficulty. A variety of visual effects can usefully be integrated with third-party game content with requiring direct computation access to the executing game code. For example, effects such as dimming, fading, pixelating, or fogging can be rendered within active regions of a game window independently from, but correlated with the visual content of, the current game. This is suitable for delivering treatment for a range of cognitive and similar disorders and permits rendering of user-specific therapeutic content in combination with third-party games and gaming platforms.

POWER EFFICIENT ULTRA-WIDEBAND (UWB) TAG FOR INDOOR POSITIONING
A system provides ultra-wideband (UWB) positioning. The system exchanges ranging signals at a first rate between a UWB beacon and a UWB tag. The system then determines movement or location information of the UWB tag; and select, based on the movement or location information, a second rate for exchanging subsequent ranging signals between the UWB beacon and the UWB tag. The system then exchanges the subsequent ranging signals at the second rate between the UWB beacon and the UWB tag.
Information processing system, storage medium storing information processing program, information processing apparatus, and information processing method
A non-limiting example information processing system includes a first input apparatus including a strain sensor, a second input apparatus including a motion sensor, and an information processing apparatus. The strain sensor provides an output corresponding to a force applied to at least a portion of the first input apparatus. The motion sensor provides an output corresponding to a motion of the second input apparatus. The information processing apparatus includes a computer that executes obtaining strain data corresponding to the output of the strain sensor and motion data corresponding to the output of the motion sensor, and executing first control on an object disposed in a virtual space based on the strain data, and second control on the object based on the motion data, the second control being different from the first control.
