Game machine input device and game machine
A game machine input device mounted on a game machine provided with a playfield; the game machine input device includes: an input unit provided toward the front of the playfield and configured to accept input; and a projection part configured to radiate light toward the playfield to project a first image in a region within the visual field of a player viewing the playfield.
Computer mouse with swingable palm rest cover
A computer mouse with a swingable palm rest cover includes a main body, a switch module, buttons, a magnetic sensor and a magnetic element. The main body has an upper housing and a lower housing. The switch module is disposed in the main body and connected to a circuit board. The buttons are movably disposed on the main body. The palm rest cover is slidably disposed on the upper housing of the main body. The magnetic sensor, which is connected to the circuit board, is disposed on the upper housing or the lower housing. The magnetic element is disposed on the lower housing or the upper housing. When the palm rest cover is swung to left or to right, its displacement can be sensed by the magnetic sensor and the magnetic element, so as to produce a pressure sensing signal and output an analog signal.
Game machine operating device and game machine
A game machine operating device mounted on a game machine with a game board and provided on a front side of the game board includes: an operation unit which receives an operation; and a projection unit which radiates light in a direction toward the game board to project a first image on an area in a field of view of a player viewing the game board. The projection unit includes: a first light source; and a light guide into which light emitted from the first light source is guided. The light guide has a light diffusion pattern formed on one or both of a front surface and a rear surface, wherein light is emitted through the light diffusion pattern to form the first image. A part on which the light diffusion pattern is formed is disposed to be directed in the direction toward the game board.
PROGRAM AND INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD
A touch-pressure detection unit detects a touch pressure that changes according to a degree of a touch operation on a display surface of a display unit. An interrupt necessity determination unit determines whether or not an interrupt is necessary on the basis of a change period and change amount of the touch pressure. In the case where an interrupt is unnecessary, the ratchet function output unit inputs the touch pressure to a predetermined ratchet function, and provides an output value of the ratchet function to a game-character-action-amount determination unit. The game-character-action-amount determination unit determines a movement speed of the game character C according to the output value of the ratchet function.
HAPTIC BRAILLE OUTPUT FOR A GAME CONTROLLER
A game controller with haptic Braille chording capability. While a conventional game controller are geared to sighted players, the disclosed controller configurations include various adaptations that provide alternative input and outputs to facilitate game play by sight-impaired or blind users, as well as other users knowledgeable of Braille. A number of paddles may be arranged on a game controller housing so that a player may engage selected ones of the paddles to enable encoding braille characters using the paddles. This input may be used to control a game, enter text into a chat session or take any other action desired. The converse may also occur, where a combination of the paddles may provide haptic feedback detectable by a user holding a game controller so that the paddles encode braille output (or other data), allowing a user to receive output simply by contact with the paddles.
Method, device, and storage medium for controlling object
The present disclosure describes a method, device, and storage medium for controlling a virtual object. The method includes obtaining, by a device, a first virtual feature and a second virtual feature, a virtual object in a virtual scene comprising the first virtual feature and the second virtual feature. The device includes a memory storing instructions and a processor in communication with the memory. The method further includes obtaining, by the device, a first physical force matching the first virtual feature and a second physical force matching the second virtual feature; and controlling, by the device according to the first physical force, the first virtual feature to perform a first action, and controlling, according to the second physical force, the second virtual feature to perform a second action.
Game Pieces for Use with Touch Screen Devices and Related Methods
There is provided a system and method for communicating with a first peripheral device, of a plurality of peripheral devices, using a touch-sensitive system that has a processor and a touch surface. According to an exemplary embodiment, a method includes detecting, using the processor, a plurality of touches on the touch surface of the touch-sensitive system that are made by the first peripheral device. The method further includes identifying, using the processor, the first peripheral device based on the plurality of touches on the touch surface of the touch-sensitive system that are made by the first peripheral device. The method additionally includes communicating data, using the processor, to a receptive circuit of the first peripheral device in response to the identifying of the first peripheral device.
INTERACTIVE ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM
A computer-readable storage medium storing program instructions for conducting a game on a gaming system having a wireless input device for playing an interactive motion-sensitive game using a wireless-compatible game console in which a virtual play environment is represented through one or more computer-animated visual, aural or tactile effects is provided wherein game play is conducted by moving, shaking, twisting, waving or pointing the input device in a particular manner. The input device can include motion-sensitive circuitry and/or command circuitry for generating control signals and/or an effects generator and associated control circuitry to enable the input device to selectively generate at least one visual, aural or tactile effect comprising sound, lighting or vibration. The input device can include a wireless transceiver for providing two-way wireless communication with the wireless-compatible game console. An optional display screen displays short text messages received through wireless communications with the wireless-compatible game console.
