Read redirection of physical media
Redirection of physical media interaction is disclosed. For instance, a read action can be redirected from an optical disc to a secure virtualization module that virtualizes optical discs. The module can take digital packages in one format and present them to optical disc drivers configured to read the content of such packages in a different format. Thus, the module allows for online media content to remain in its native format while being accessible to existing native gaming console resources configured to read content in a different format. In other aspects, the module can perform various security checks on the packages, including hashing the fragments of packages, where such fragments can contain licensing provisions that can be examined by the module. The module itself can be downloaded and installed onto a gaming system or it can be pre-installed.
GAME MANAGEMENT METHOD, GAME MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, AND GAME MANAGEMENT PROGRAM FOR SYNCHRONIZING GAME PROGRESS AT A PLURALITY OF DEVICES IN DIFFERENT COMMUNICATION STATES
A game management system that retrieves a delay time of each of a plurality of user devices playing a game; stores the delay times retrieved from each of the plurality of user devices; and transmits an instruction to synchronize game progress to each of the user devices, the instruction including an offset time determined based on a maximum value of the stored delay times.
GAME MONEY TRADING METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PROVIDING SAME
Disclosed herein are a game money trading method and a device for providing the same. The device for providing a game money trading method includes: a communication unit configured to communicate with a user terminal and a plurality of game servers; and a control unit configured to select at least one of a plurality of game moneys corresponding to the plurality of game servers as base money, and to process the exchange of the plurality of game moneys for each other by using the base money in response to a request received from the user terminal.
CROSS-PLATFORM SPOILER BLOCK SERVICE
Computer implemented systems and methods for cross-platform spoiler blocking are provided herein. An example method includes ascertaining by a data platform data potentially available to a user of a service having a media object; identifying by the data platform at least one object revealed by the media object, the at least one object being associated with an application; receiving by the data platform metadata associated with the at least one object, the metadata indicative of whether the at least one object should be hidden from the user; determining by the data platform, based on the metadata, the at least one object is a potential spoiler; and blocking by the data platform, the user from interacting with the media object through the service.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING GAME SERVICE FOR MANAGING VEHICLE
An embodiment of the present disclosure provides a vehicle management game service providing device installed in a vehicle. The vehicle management game service providing device includes a receiver, a controller, which obtains vehicle information, and determines whether a user's intervention is required with regard to a vehicle-related task on the basis of the obtained vehicle information, a user interface, which receives a user input signal, and provides a screen according to execution of the user game, and an operator, which operates the vehicle according to a vehicle control signal. At least one among an autonomous vehicle, a user terminal, and a server according to embodiments of the present disclosure may be associated or integrated with an artificial intelligence module, a drone (unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)), a robot, an augmented reality (AR) device, a virtual reality (VR) device, a 5G service related device, and the like.
Apparatus, system, and method for controlling a computing device interaction using an accessory
A method is disclosed. The method includes selecting a computing device interaction, configuring a user accessory based on the selected computing device interaction, and performing the computing device interaction using the configured user accessory. The method also includes quantifying a computing device interaction performance of one or more users and controlling the user accessory based on quantifying the computing device interaction performance. A body part of one of the one or more users is inserted into or received by the user accessory.
System and method for playing a predictive sports game on a computing device
A prediction gaming system is disclosed. The system allows users to predict live scores on a mobile platform ball-by-ball in a Cricket game before the ball is bowled while the game is in progress. There is a user interface (UI), a fast live score feed methodology, user prediction capture, reconciliation and reward framework. The methods and systems described here are further applicable to other sports including tennis, where the methods are applicable point-by-point and in baseball, applicable pitch-by-pitch.
GAME SERVER AND METHOD OF SHARING NOTE IN THE GAME SERVER
A game server according to one embodiment includes a communication interface and a processor configured to receive a note at a specific location in a game from a user, match the note with the specific location, and store the note to a storage medium, and when the specific location is displayed on a gaming device of the user, output the note through the gaming device.
