The blocks can comprise hemp hurd and fibers, flax fiber, hydraulic lime and hydrated lime. In one aspect, the blocks may comprise a body shape configured so as to allow it to interlock with other blocks in the construction of a structure. In another aspect, the blocks may be adapted to incorporate tensioning means. Methods for manufacturing the blocks and structures comprising such materials and methods for building such structures are also disclosed.

MODULAR UNIT FOR FORMING CONSTRUCTIONS FOR TOY USE
20180296937 · 2018-10-18 ·

A modular unit forming toy constructions, includes a first body of prismatic shape, formed by a first blank of foldable material having a central portion with four sides, which defines an upper side of the first body including a pair of slits for each side, to delimit a central zone. The first blank has a wing protruding from each side of the central portion and includes three different consecutive parts defined by transversal pre-folds to form corresponding sides of the first body and a base flat lower edge of the first body delimiting a hollow central compartment of the first body. A similar smaller second body of prismatic shape is formed by a second blank having wing for each side with a protrusion for coupling to the slits. The second body has a shape/size to be housed in a central compartment of a first body forming another modular unit.

Expanded Plastic Foam Construction Toy
20180296938 · 2018-10-18 ·

The disclosed technology relates to a construction toy made of expanded plastic foam extrusions. These extrusions are assembled with or without fasteners into a wide variety of configurations and optionally the extrusions are cut safely to a desired size.

Play equipment, in particular for interior spaces and small children
20180296936 · 2018-10-18 ·

The invention relates to play equipment, in particular for inferior spaces and small children, comprising at least one portable play equipment, having a thin, stable core element whichviewed from the sideis arched and, in the direction of the arch, is flat and flexibly ductile at least in sections, and an at least one-piece protective sheath made from a material which is soft and flexible at least in sections, preferably from foam, which is fastened in contact at least to the arched outer surface, preferably to the arched outer surface and the arched inner surface of the core element and protrudes beyond the edges of the arched core element extending in the direction of the arch and beyond the two ends thereof, and forms a flexible protection buffer, which can be pressed in, against risk of injury, and/or an interior space protective buffer, the end sections of which each form at least one flexible clamping and/or protection lip of the play element in the direction of the arch.

Modular panel system for interactive play or display
10086304 · 2018-10-02 ·

The modular panel system includes composite panels with grooves integrated into both vertical sides thereof. The grooves engage the protrusions molded into all four sides of the mating element. By sliding panels onto a mating element, a room can be created. Two walls at right angles form a simple room corner. Three walls can become two adjoining rooms and other configurations. When disassembled, the panels and elements can be transported and stored out of the way, which is especially useful when used for large scale dolls, eighteen inches tall or more.

Retainer for a decorative edible structure
12089625 · 2024-09-17 · ·

A retainer for temporarily holding in place a pair of inclined roof panels of a decorative edible structure includes a first hook surface on a body for engaging a first lower edge of a first inclined roof panel and a second hook surface on the body for engaging a second lower edge of a second inclined roof panel. The first and second hook surfaces are spaced apart from each other along the body, and when in use, the body holds the first and second hook surfaces in engagement with the first and second lower edges. Decorative edible structures using such retainers, a kit of parts including such retainers, and corresponding methods of constructing decorative edible structures using such retainers are also disclosed.

Wall assembly and alignment clips for assembling miniature model buildings
10058791 · 2018-08-28 ·

A wall component for receiving associated alignment clips is illustrated and described. The wall component comprises a molding strip, an array of mounting studs, and a molding frame that is inserted between a pair of wall panels. More specifically, the mounting studs are affixed to an inner surface of the molding strip and inserted through the wall panel where they are secured to the molding frame. A gap is formed between the inner surface of the molding strip and an outer surface of the wall panel for receiving associated alignment clips. The alignment clips are releasably secured to the wall component by interlocking with the mounting studs in the clip receiving gap and/or wedging the gap. The alignment clips may be affixed along an abutment edge of the wall segment or to associated model pieces. Model pieces may also be laterally slidable with respect to their associated alignment clips.

Folding Toy

A folding toy is formed from a series of interconnected panels. Adjacent panels are flexibly joined at their respective side edges. Each of the panels may fold in two directions relative to its adjacent panel. A bottom edge of each of the panels may be supported on a ground surface. A plurality of notches is formed in a top edge of each of the panels. The panels of the folding toy may be folded and configured as desired to create a child play space, such as a fort. A cover placed over the top edges of the toy can serve as a roof. For ease of storage, the panels may be arranged into an accordion-folded configuration.
