Six-stroke rotary-vane internal combustion engine
A six-stroke rotary-vane internal combustion engine includes a stator having working chambers for intake and compression of air-fuel mixture alternating with working chambers for expansion and removing of combustion products, and a cylindrical rotor including longitudinal grooves housing blades. Side walls of all the working chambers are formed by rotating parts of the rotor, the combustion chambers are formed as hemispherical recesses on a cylindrical surface of the rotor, the working chambers of the stator are formed as cylindrical borings with axes parallel to the stator axis and evenly spaced along an inner surface of the stator, each blade consists of separate plates freely displaceable relative to each other, each plate of the blade being made of two parts movable apart in axial direction by a spring, the number of blades is a multiple of the number of the chambers for intake of air-fuel mixture.

PUMP BODY ASSEMBLY, FLUID MACHINERY, AND HEAT EXCHANGE DEVICE
A pump assembly, fluid machinery, and a heat exchange device. The pump assembly includes: a lower flange; a lower friction-reducing ring; a cylinder, the lower friction-reducing ring being disposed inside the cylinder, and the lower flange being disposed below the cylinder; and a piston assembly arranged inside the cylinder and includes a piston sleeve and a piston slidably arranged inside the piston sleeve. The lower friction-reducing ring has a central hole. A position-limiting protrusion is disposed on a surface of the piston sleeve, which faces the lower flange. The limiting protrusion extends into the central hole of the lower friction-reducing ring, fits and is limited by the lower flange.
Dynamic rotary engine vane force actuation apparatus including vane with stressed sheet
The invention comprises a rotary engine apparatus and method of use thereof. The rotary engine comprises a rotor configured to rotate in a housing and a set of vanes separating a volume between the rotor and housing into a set of chambers. Each of the vanes are dynamically controlled, such as through use of a stressed sheet and/or electromechanical means, to: (1) yield a greater radially outward and/or sealing force to the housing at start-up and/or at low engine speeds and (2) dynamically reduce radially outward and/or sealing forces at higher engine speeds.
Rotary device having a circular guide ring
A rotary device for use with a fluid includes a housing, a rotor, a ring, and at least one vane. The housing includes a tubular surface defining, in part, a tubular volume. The housing is segregated into at least a pumping zone positioned between first and second working zones. The first working zone is configured to receive a fluid and the second working zone is configured to output the fluid. The rotor is mounted for rotation about a rotation axis. The rotor includes a body mounted within the tubular volume. The body includes a plurality of slots. The ring is at least indirectly coupled to the housing by way of a bearing. The at least one vane is associated with one slot of the plurality of slots. The at least one vane is connected at least indirectly to the ring and configured to rotate within the tubular volume.

A ROTARY SLIDING VANE MACHINE WITH HYDROSTATIC SLIDE BEARINGS FOR THE VANES
The invention relates to a rotary sliding vane machine (1) for fluid processing, comprising a housing (2) with a cavity (4) with a rotor (9). Vanes (12) are arranged in outwardly directed slots (13) in the rotor (9), and relative sliding between the vanes and the rotor provides spaces with variable volumes in the rotational direction. Each vane is supported by hydrostatic slide bearings (20, 20) on each side of the vane (12). Due to pressure changes of the process fluid, the vane (12) is tilted towards and away from bearing pads (27, 27, 87). The invention causes the bearing pads to adjust their position to the vane (12), and also causes a change of volume of a bearing fluid chamber (21, 21, 81), which in turn effects a supply of bearing fluid to the slide bearing fluid film.
Double-working-medium expander used for two-stage organic Rankine cycle
Single expander device working with two working media in a two-stage organic Rankine cycle, which has a cylinder body, a rotor disposed inside the cylinder body and provided with a number of slip sheets in a radial direction of the cylinder body, and a rotary shaft fixedly connected to the center of the rotor, with the outer profile of the cylinder body defined by two mathematical equations.
Rotor with sliding vane has a different width of vane slot extended from the longitudinal axis to the outer surface of the rotor body
A method of casting a rotor using a cavity and core mold allows a longitudinal slot oriented transversely to the axis of rotation to be finish ground to high precision and tight tolerances by casting the slot to have a wider section which extends from the axis to a radius greater than the radii of the hubs of the rotor, and a narrower section which extends from the wider section to the outer surface of the rotor. The geometrical relation of the slot sections to the hubs as cast permits the grinding step to be performed without forming a leak path in either of the hubs.
