The external toothing has at least one form-fit subregion, which extends axially at least in certain portions along the base shaft, or one force-fit subregion in order for the hub to be arranged at least in a form-fitting or force-fitting manner, and wherein at least the form-fit subregion or the force-fit subregion is adjoined by at least one alignment region which extends at least in certain portions axially along the base shaft and which serves for the angular alignment of the hub.
Electromagnetic Control Device, In Particular for Adjusting Camshafts of an Internal Combustion Engine
An electromagnetic control device, in particular for adjusting camshafts or a camshaft section of an internal combustion engine, comprising an energisable coil unit, by means of which an armature mounted for movement along a longitudinal axis can be moved relative to a pole core between a retracted position and an extended position; a tappet, which is mounted for movement along the longitudinal axis with a free end portion with which, in the extended position, the tappet interacts with a camshaft in order to adjust the camshaft, and with an inner end portion (30), with which the tappet is attached to the armature, wherein the tappet is attached in a form-fitting manner to the armature by means of a deformable connection element and a method for the form-fitting attachment of a tappet to an armature of an electromagnetic control device of this kind.
Valve drive for an internal combustion engine
A valve drive for a cylinder head of an internal combustion engine has a first camshaft which is rotatably mounted in a first and a second camshaft bearing and which includes at least one cam with a first cam curve and a second cam curve that differs from the first cam curve. A gas exchange valve is actuated by the first or the second cam curve. A camshaft section is provided, by which the cam can be moved by an actuator such that the gas exchange valve can be actuated either via the first or the second cam curve. The first camshaft and the cam have a fixed position relative to each other. The first camshaft can be axially moved in the first and the second camshaft bearing, and an axial lock is provided for the camshaft.
Motorcycle engine
An engine oil passage structure for an engine contributing to downsizing the engine and achieving protection of an oil passage against external forces is provided. Provided is an oil passage structure for an engine installed in a small vehicle, the engine including an engine body formed of a crankcase and a cylinder block and a cylinder head stacked inclined vehicle frontward on the crankcase, the crankcase, the cylinder block, and the cylinder head being integrally fastened. The oil passage structure includes, near a bent part formed by a case front wall of the crankcase and a cylinder front wall of the cylinder block forming a valley part by an obtuse angle, a right-left direction oil passage extending in a right-left direction along the valley part.
ELECTROMAGNETIC ACTUATING DEVICE AND CAMSHAFT ADJUSTER WITH AN ELECTROMAGNETIC ACTUATING DEVICE
The disclosure relates to an electromagnetic actuating device for a hydraulic camshaft adjuster. The electronic actuating device includes a housing, a yoke, a pole core, an armature, and an actuating pin and a bearing unit. The actuating pin is led out of the housing by means of the bearing unit, and the bearing unit forms a press-fit connection with the housing or with a component connected to the housing. To improve the connection, the bearing unit, the housing and/or the component connected to the housing have a recess that increases the elasticity of the press-fit connection.
Sliding module of a camshaft
A sliding module having a sliding sleeve and at least one cam segment having at least one cam. The sliding sleeve has a positioning section for positioning the cam segment fixedly against rotation and displacement. The positioning section includes a surface structure on the outer circumferential face of the sliding sleeve for producing a press-fit connection between the cam segment and the sliding sleeve. A stop region is provided configured to limit an axial movement of the cam segment.
Adjusting device with sealed guide cylinder
An adjusting device having at least one tappet assembly. The at least one tappet assembly comprises a tappet, at least one guide cylinder, and a pole core. The tappet is arranged in the guide cylinder in a movable manner along a longitudinal axis, and a non-magnetic connection socket is arranged between the guide cylinder and the pole core. The guide cylinder and the pole core are arranged at a distance to each other in the longitudinal axis by the connection socket.
System and method for diagnosing a variable displacement engine
Systems and methods for determining operation of a cylinder deactivating/reactivating device are disclosed. In one example, a direction of engine rotation is selected to maximize air flow through the engine while the engine is rotated without combusting air and fuel. Operation of one or more cylinder valve deactivating mechanisms is assessed while the engine is rotated without combusting air and fuel.
Variable valve drive
The present disclosure relates to a variable valve drive, in particular with a sliding cam system, for an internal combustion engine. The variable valve drive has a shaft and a cam carrier which is arranged rotationally conjointly and axially displaceably on the shaft and which has a first cam and a second cam. The variable valve drive has an actuator device for axially displacing the cam carrier, and has a carrying device which at least partially engages around a lever axle of a force transmission device and carries the actuator device. The variable valve drive can offer the advantage that an arrangement of the actuator device which is expedient in terms of structural space is made possible in the region of the lever axle. At the same time, support of the actuator device by means of the carrying device on the lever axle can stiffen the flexible lever axle by means of the engaging-around configuration.
SENSOR ASSEMBLY FOR A SLIDING CAMSHAFT OF A MOTOR VEHICLE
