An agricultural metering system includes independently controllable sets of meter rollers. Each set of meter rollers includes at least one meter roller and is configured to rotate about a respective rotational axis, and the rotational axes are generally parallel to one another and not aligned with one another. The agricultural metering system also includes meter boxes configured to receive agricultural product from a compartment of a storage tank. Each set of meter rollers is disposed within a respective meter box, and each set of meter rollers is configured to meter the agricultural product from the compartment of the storage tank. The agricultural metering system also includes distribution lines. Each distribution line is disposed downstream from a respective set of meter rollers and is configured to receive the agricultural product output from the respective set of meter rollers.

In addition, the agricultural metering system includes a control bar coupled to the meter roller sleeves. The control bar is configured to collectively move the meter roller sleeves relative to the meter rollers.

The controller is configured to receive a first signal indicative of a prescription map. The controller is further configured to determine a first parameter associated with operation of an air cart of the agricultural system based at least in part on the prescription map. The controller is further configured to determine at least one of a second parameter associated with operation of a work vehicle of the agricultural system based at least in part on the prescription map, and a third parameter associated with an implement of the agricultural system based at least in part on the prescription map, wherein the implement includes one or more row units. The controller is further configured to output, in response to determining the first parameter, a second signal indicative of an instruction to control a first element of the air cart based at least in part on the first parameter, output, in response to determining the second parameter, a third signal indicative of an instruction to control a second element of the work vehicle based at least in part on the second parameter, and output, in response to determining the third parameter, a fourth signal indicative of an instruction to control a third element of the implement based at least in part on the third parameter.

A method for operating a twin-row metering system including a first seed meter and a second seed meter. Each of the first seed meter and the second seed meter includes a motor with a driveshaft and a seed disc operably coupled with the motor via the driveshaft. The method includes a step of measuring a position of the driveshaft of the first motor. An additional step includes measuring a position of the driveshaft of the second motor. An additional step includes determining an angular offset between the position of the driveshaft of the first motor and a position of the driveshaft of the second motor. And a further step includes adjusting a rotational speed of the driveshaft of the second motor based on the determined angular offset.
