Plug assembly for use in a vehicle
The invention relates to a plug assembly (1), in particular for use in a vehicle, comprising a tube (3), a sealing element (5) and a plug connector (4), which comprises a connector body (6), wherein the connector body (6) has an annulus (22) located between a first casing section (12) and a second casing section (15) of the plug connector (4), wherein a connection section (33) of the tube (3) is introduced into the annulus (22) of the connector body (6) and the sealing element (5) is arranged between the first casing section (12) and the connection section (33) of the tube (3). The first casing section (12) of the connector body (6) is deformed in such a way that an interlocking connection is established between a shaping region (56) of the first casing section (12) of the connector body (6) and the tube (3), wherein the sealing element (5) protrudes at least partially into the shaping region (56) of the first casing section (12), such that the sealing element (5) is clamped at least sectionally between the first casing section (12) and the tube (3).
Method for manufacturing a waterproof felt duct and a waterproof felt duct
A method for manufacturing a waterproof felt duct may include (a) laminating a waterproof film on one side of a first nonwoven fabric and laminating a second nonwoven fabric on the waterproof film laminated on the first nonwoven fabric to form a laminated body; (b) forming a waterproof felt base material by thermally adhering the laminated body; (c) cutting the waterproof felt base material into a desired shape; (d) molding a duct while surrounding the waterproof felt base material cut into the desired shape around the external surface of a molding jig having a worm gear shape; (e) heat-treating the molded duct; (f) cooling the heat-treated duct; and (g) ejecting the cooled duct from the molding jig.
Pipe component
The invention relates to a pipe component (10) having a pipe (11) between two end regions (14, 18), which comprises a fold package (30). The fold package (30) has at least one first fold region (32) having first folds (40) which extend around an outer circumference (24) of the pipe (11). The fold package (30) has at least one second fold region (34, 36) having second folds (42) which extend part of the way around the outer circumference (24).
Two-Stroke Engine, and Handheld Power Tool
A two-stroke engine (1) is disclosed comprising a cylinder (2), a piston (3) arranged to reciprocate in the cylinder (2), a crankcase (5), a fuel injector (7) configured to inject fuel into the crankcase (5), an air inlet (9) connected to the crankcase (5), and a stratified scavenging intake (11) connected to the cylinder (2). The engine (1) comprises a throttle (13) configured to control the amount of air supplied to the air inlet (9) and to the stratified scavenging intake (11). The present disclosure further relates to handheld power tool (50) comprising an engine (1).
FLUID DUCT
Provided herein is a fluid duct 2 comprising a tubular base wall 11 surrounding a duct channel and at least one bellows 10 formed along a section of the tubular base wall 11. The bellows 10 comprises a plurality of convolutes 12 having a profile 14 projecting radially from the base wall 11. At least one convolute 12 wraps around the duct channel at a wrap-around angle Ω of between 180° and 720° from a first end 22a to a second end 22b of the convolute 12, said second end 22b being offset in a flow direction F parallel to a centerline C of the duct channel by a non-zero offset distance D from the first end 22a.
Air pipe for motor vehicles
An air pipe for motor vehicles, in particular for connecting a hot component to a cold component, is provided. A first connector at a first end of the pipe is provided for securing the pipe in an airtight manner to a hot component and a second connector at a second end of the pipe is provided for securing the pipe in an airtight manner to a cold component. At least one flexible pipe portion is provided between the first and the second connectors. Supporting rings made from a material which is dimensionally stable in relation to the flexible pipe material are provided. The supporting rings surround a free pipe cross section and stabilize the cross-sectional shape of the flexible pipe portion.
INTAKE STRUCTURE OF VEHICLE AND METHOD OF MOUNTING NIPPLE TO INTAKE STRUCTURE
An intake structure of a vehicle is provided to prevent engine oil from flowing back along a nipple. The structure includes an intake hose which is mounted between an air cleaner and a compressor of a turbo charger. A pocket part, in which the oil comprised in a blow-by gas through the nipple is collected, is formed on the inner sidewall surface of the intake hose. The intake structure prevents the oil existing in the recirculated blow-by gas from flowing into a fresh air nipple.
Intake duct structure of motorcycle
An intake duct structure of a motorcycle includes front forks disposed on both of right and left sides of a head pipe of a body frame and a main frame extending obliquely backward and downward from the head pipe, wherein the intake duct structure extends from a front end of the motorcycle toward the head pipe and is formed in such a manner that an interfered area where a rotational orbit of the front forks at a time of steering overlaps the intake duct structure is elastically deformable.
Active combustion air intake system for truck, tractor, or bus vehicle
A combustion air intake apparatus for a truck, tractor, or bus vehicle for highway use includes an air deflecting element that is selectively deployable to cause dynamic air pressure created by vehicle motion to increase static air, pressure within the intake apparatus under appropriate conditions. Deployment or retraction of the air deflecting element is responsive to at least one of forward speed of the vehicle, air pressure downstream of an air inlet opening, or throttle position, and may further be responsive to detection of precipitation and/or particulate material. An air deflecting element may include a moveable plate or flap, moveable louvers, or a moveable duct.
