AERIAL TREE HARVESTER
A machine operates in conjunction with an aircraft, such as a helicopter, for harvesting or removing trees. The device can be powered by the aircraft, by electrical or hydraulic connection with the aircraft, or it may have an independent, self-contained power source. The device includes jaws for grasping a tree, and a saw for cutting the tree. The weight of the device is borne by a strong and flexible cord suspended from the aircraft. Various motors enable the position of the device to be remotely controlled, so as to grasp and remove tree trunks. The invention is especially useful for removing trees from areas which are difficult to reach by land.
Felling unit and method of harvesting small-dimensioned wood
A felling unit and a method of harvesting small-dimensioned wood in a forest. A felling unit comprises a cutting device with two disc blades and a cutting gap between them for cutting small-dimensioned trees. The cut small-dimensioned trunks are transferred from the cutting gap to a temporary storage space by means of a transfer device comprising two transfer shafts with a transfer gap between them. The disc blades and the transfer shafts are both rotated in opposite directions relative to each other, i.e. towards the cutting gap and the feeding gap.

Sensor mount and assembly for a timber-working device
A sensor mount for use with a timber-working device includes a monolithic structure having a base portion configured to be secured to a frame of a timber-working device, and a sensor mounting portion including a cavity configured to receive a contactless sensor. The cavity has a sensor mounting surface for securing the contactless sensor thereto.
Skid loader attachment including a rotatable and extendable claw
An attachment for a skid loader includes a base configured to attached to a loader arm of the skid loader, a rotatable coupling attached to the base on a side opposite the loader arm, and a claw portion attached to the rotatable coupling. The claw portion includes a stationary jaw and a pivoting jaw. The pivoting jaw pivotable with respect to the stationary jaw about a pivot rod. The pivoting jaw is coupled to the rotatable coupling via a hydraulic cylinder such that movement of the pivoting jaw about the pivoting rod is effected by actuation of the hydraulic cylinder.
Tree saw attachment for small vehicle
A saw attachment for a vehicle. The saw attachment includes a wedge-shaped saw blade with teeth extending along sides of the saw blade. The saw attachment also includes a guard secured to the saw blade and extending in a non-coplanar direction from the saw blade. The saw attachment further includes a mounting assembly comprising a longitudinally-extending frame having first and second ends, with the first end pivotably secured to the saw blade, and a mounting plate pivotably secured to the second end of the frame, such that the mounting plate is operable to be removably secured to the vehicle. The saw attachment further includes an adjustable linkage connected to the mounting assembly and the guard, with the adjustable linkage being operable to selectively extend or retract so as to allow the saw blade to decline and incline, respectively.

LUBRICATION SYSTEM
In accordance with an example embodiment, an attachment for a work vehicle includes a hydraulic motor including a case cavity, a bearing, a mandrel received by the bearing, and a disc saw rotationally coupled to the hydraulic motor via the mandrel. A mandrel cavity surrounds the mandrel, and at least a portion of the bearing is disposed within the mandrel cavity. The mandrel cavity is hydraulically connected to the case cavity downstream of the case cavity.

Tree Processor Attachment
A saw bar clamping mechanism, length measuring mechanism, system for measuring the length of a tree stem, feed roller mechanism, pin retention mechanism, and a tree processor attachment comprising at least one of the mechanisms and/or system is provided. The saw bar mechanism simultaneously unclamps a saw bar and releases a saw chain for convenient removal. The length measuring mechanism comprises a measuring wheel operable to extend and retract perpendicularly to a tree stem. The feed roller mechanism includes first-side and second-side rollers, and a bearing having outer and inner sides, the bearing being rotatably coupled at its outer side to the first-side roller and rotatably coupled at its inner side to the second-side roller, the bearing making angular contact. The pin retention mechanism includes a two-part collar fitting into a groove with interference for locking a nut received by the collar.
