Disclosed is a method for automatically replacing high-pressure gas barrels, in which when loading a high-pressure gas barrel is loaded on the lift of a cabinet so as to supply gas to the wafer production line in the semiconductor fabrication FAB process facility, at the time point of replacement of the high-pressure gas barrel, a used high-pressure gas barrel is separated from a connector holder and then a new high-pressure gas barrel is connected to the connector holder.

HYDROGEN REFUELING SYSTEM AND METHOD OF HYDROGEN REFUELING

This invention can provide a hydrogen refueling system capable to reduce waiting time for refueling H.sub.2 to vehicles. The system is designed and operated to acquire the residual pressure in the vehicle the that connects to the dispenser, then to calculate sufficient conditions to perform complete refueling of the connected vehicle (in particular minimum pressure in buffers), and then to start H.sub.2 transfer to the vehicle as soon as the conditions are met. Waiting time can be further reduced with minimum investment by having a H.sub.2 dispenser with two H.sub.2 refueling hoses which has only one H.sub.2 flow control valve and/or only one H.sub.2 cooling heat exchanger and/or only one H.sub.2 flow metering system.

An apparatus, system and method for measuring quantity of a material are disclosed. One or more sensors are used to measure the quantity of the material are measured and error causing parameters are also measured. Error causing parameters are processed by executing one or more correction methodologies to determine a correction output. The quantity of the material is measured by using the correction output. One or values associated with the quantity of the material are measured and displayed. The one or more values are transmitted to a server and informative messages are received from the server.

HYDROGEN GAS SUPPLY SYSTEM
20230197987 · 2023-06-22 ·

A hydrogen gas supply system for a hydrogen consuming energy converter arranged onto a vehicle comprising a plurality of tanks for storage of pressurized hydrogen gas, wherein each tank is provided with a valve configured to control the flow of hydrogen from the corresponding tank into a flow line connected to the hydrogen consuming energy converter, wherein the plurality of tanks comprises one or more primary tanks, each of which being provided with a corresponding primary hydrogen flow control valve, the plurality of tanks further comprising a secondary tank provided with a corresponding secondary hydrogen flow control valve, wherein the hydrogen gas supply system is arranged so that the secondary tank contains a smaller maximum working amount of pressurized hydrogen, and/or so that the flow of hydrogen from the secondary tank is restricted.

Compressed natural gas vehicle safety system and method
11679675 · 2023-06-20 ·

A multiply-redundant system that prevents a driver from starting and/or moving a vehicle if a compressed natural gas fill system is not correctly and completely disconnected from the vehicle. One or more sensors in combination with one or more optional microswitches combine to lock-out the vehicle's ignition or otherwise prevent it from starting and/or moving. For different levels of safety, different combinations of sensors can be used with the lowest level having a single proximity sensor sensing the presence or absence of a high-pressure fill hose. The highest level of safety being achieved by having separate proximity sensors on the fuel fill hose fitting, the gas cap cover and a manual safety valve along with a redundant microswitch. An optional override that may be restricted as to the number of times it can be used can allow starting with a faulty sensor in order to allow maintenance.

Fluid tanks in a hospital or similar environment include sensors to detect, e.g., state and location, which can be communicated to a central station where this data can be processed to permit predictions of resource usage and enable automated management of the fluid tanks.

Subsea Fluid Storage Unit
20220033177 · 2022-02-03 ·

A modular subsea fluid storage unit comprises a variable-volume inner tank having a rigid top panel and a peripheral wall that is flexible by virtue of concertina formations. The peripheral wall is extensible and retractable vertically while the horizontal width of the tank remains substantially unchanged. A side wall of a lower housing part surrounds and is spaced horizontally from the peripheral wall of the inner tank to define a floodable gap between the peripheral wall and the side wall that surrounds the tank. An upper housing part extends over and is vertically spaced from the top panel of the inner tank and overlaps the side wall to enclose the inner tank. The floodable gap and the upper housing part enhance thermal insulation and trap any fluids that may leak from the inner tank.
