Multi-threat mitigation security apparatus for protecting personnel, assets and critical infrastructure
A multi-threat security apparatus system for critical infrastructure protection is disclosed having an above-ground concrete base, a vertical post system adapted to be attached to the above-ground concrete base and to receive a plurality of louvers. The plurality of louvers provides the necessary ballistic protection for and air flow through to the critical infrastructure. The louvers may include a composite of aluminum foam, a resin impregnated ballistic material and an aluminum foam. The composite structure may be used on doors, panels or building walls.
BALLISTIC AND FIRE PROTECTION ENCLOSURES
A modular ballistic panel may include first and second vertical members, and curved rectangular first and second slats. The second vertical member may be spaced from the first vertical member. Each of the slats may be disposed between the first and second vertical members, with a first edge coupled to the first vertical side member and a second edge coupled to the second vertical side member. The first and second slats may be configured to deflect a projectile downward.
Mounting Assembly
A mounting assembly, comprising: a base, for attaching the mounting assembly to a vehicle or structure; and an arm, connected to the base, for attaching an object to the mounting assembly, wherein the base is a two-part construction comprising a first part for attaching to a vehicle or structure and a second part for attaching to the arm, and wherein the second part is pivotally mounted on the first part
FRAMELESS BULLET TRAP
The invention relates to a slat arrangement for redirecting the trajectory of a bullet. The slat arrangement has a plurality of elongated steel slats, and each elongated steel slat has a longitudinal front edge and a longitudinal back edge stretching between a first end and a second end. The slat arrangement also has a support structure for supporting the plurality of steel slats. The steel slats are positioned in a louver-like fashion for changing the direction of a bullet following a trajectory along the normal of the slat arrangement. The support structure is connected to each steel slat at the back edge of the steel slat and between the first end and the second end of the steel slat.
Hard point net
An improved hard point net wherein a fabric net has hexagonal net line cells with six nodes. Hard points are attached to the net lines, three per hexagonal cell at every other node thereof such that in each cell there is a node without a hard point between two nodes with hard points and interior cells sharing hard points with all the cells surrounding it. A frame for the net spaces the net and the hard points from a target such as a vehicle.
Bullet proof blinds
A blind system comprising a plurality of slats or a sheet having a ballistic resistant material; a control system operably configured to cause a change in state of the blind from an open state to a protective closed state; and a sensing system operably configured to detect a threatening event, wherein the sensing system upon sensing the threatening event triggers the control system to transition from the open state to the protective state such that in the protective state, the blinds are adapted to be resistant to penetration by high-speed ballistic objects such as bullets.
Ballistic barrier
A ballistic barrier may include a plurality of panels, each panel having a plurality of slats arranged downwardly at an angle with respect to horizontal. When an incoming bullet strikes a slat, its energy is redirected and the bullet is deflected downward toward the ground. Various thicknesses, materials, and dimensions of slats can be used. In addition, the slats can be arranged at an angle somewhere between 0 and 90 degrees, depending on the desired application. All of the slats may be arranged at substantially the same angle, or they may be arranged at different angles. Backer plates may further be included to prevent bullets from travelling beyond the fence. The backer plates may be constructed and attached in a manner that permits airflow between adjacent backer plates. A facing may be included to prevent people from climbing the fence slats.
Mechanically-adaptive, armor link/linkage (MAAL)
An armor system and method for the protection of an environment. The armor system includes at least one, and generally a plurality of flexible strands, a first strand support system, and a control subsystem. The control subsystem is configured to manually or automatically adapt the configuration of the armor system in response to a ballistic threat. The armor system may further include at least one of a drift gap and a spall catcher positioned between the flexible strand and the environment to be protected. The configuration can include activating a wave shape along the flexible strand. The configuration can include multiple layers of the flexible strands. The flexible strands may be implemented as a curtain. The strands may be deployed into an open-top container.
Remote controlled non-lethal weapon station
A Remote Controlled Weapon Station is provided wherein it comprises a weapon mounting bracket that is remotely adjustable in elevating/lowering and a rotatable turret assembly adapted to be mounted on vehicles, remotely adjustable in rotation, and wherein the weapon mounting bracket is pivotally mounted on it, and the Remote Controlled Weapon Station is converted into a remote controlled Non Lethal weapon station by that at least one non lethal means is installed in it, chosen from a group consisting ofa multi barreled means for firing grenades; multi-barrels launcher means for pyrotechnically firing plurality of charges; acoustic means for producing tones; illuminating means; observation means and means for providing sniper firing capabilities of small caliber kinetic bullet.
