Throttle valve and internal combustion engine comprising such a throttle valve

The present invention relates to a throttle valve adapted to equip an air intake system in an internal combustion engine, in particular an explosion engine. The throttle valve comprises: a body delimiting an air intake pipe; a valve member mounted rotatably in the pipe about an axis of rotation and comprising a spherical portion shutting off the pipe in the closed configuration; means for moving the valve member in rotation about the axis of rotation between different configurations of the throttle valve; and a bearing ring which receives a spherical outer surface of the valve member in sliding bearing contact. The throttle valve is characterized in that it also comprises a seal which is elastically deformable, which is arranged between the body and the bearing ring and which is adapted to take up forces to which the valve member and the bearing ring are subjected during a back-fire through the pipe. The invention also relates to an internal combustion engine, in particular an explosion engine, comprising such a throttle valve.

Engine intake control apparatus

In an engine intake control apparatus, a cover is made of synthetic resin, a motor support plate is made of metal, a positioning boss is integrally formed on the cover, a first positioning hole arranged on a motor support plate is fitted on an outer peripheral surface of the positioning boss, and the positioning boss is positioned and fitted with a throttle valve body each other. With such an engine intake control apparatus, it is possible to perform with high accuracy the mutual positioning between the three components, i.e. the motor support plate, the cover and the throttle valve body, and it is possible to effectively improve the opening and closing accuracy for the opening and closing of the throttle valve by the motor.

In a valve device including: a plate-shaped drive gear provided at an end of a valve shaft made of metal; and, at the drive gear, a detection target of an inductive sensor detecting a rotation angle of the valve shaft, the drive gear has a lever member made of metal and integrated through insert molding in which a part thereof is exposed in the inner surface, the detection target is integrated along with the lever member through the insert molding on a side of the outer surface of the drive gear, and an exposure portion of the lever member at the drive gear including the lever member and the detection target and the end of the valve shaft are caused to abut each other, and a rear side of the abutting part is laser-welded from the side of an outer hole and is fixed thereby to configure a shaft unit.

Intake device

An air intake device offers simplified construction, reduced size, lowered cost, etc., while facilitating disposing of throttle body and driving part in intake air passage, allowing throttle body to be reliably held, and eliminating possible occurrence of intake air leakage, etc., thus positively securing the performance. The air intake device includes an actuator and an intake air manifold made of resin. In actuator, there are provided a throttle body, a throttle valve, a motor for opening/closing throttle valve, and a power transmission mechanism. Throttle valve and motor are positioned and held on one side of a support member, and power transmission mechanism is on the other side. In intake air manifold, a housing chamber is provided. When a fixing part of support member is jointed to a part to be fixed of intake air manifold, throttle body and motor are accommodated in a predetermined position in housing chamber.
