A hydrostatic piston engine comprises a housing with a cylinder drum with cylinder bores mounted rotatably therein. Each of the cylinder bores receives a working piston in a longitudinally displaceable manner, via which a hydrostatic working chamber is delimited by the cylinder bore. The hydrostatic working chamber has an opening on an outer surface of the cylinder drum by which, when the cylinder drum rotates, outlets of a high-pressure chamber and of a low-pressure chamber of the piston engine and a reversing surface arranged between the two outlets in the rotational direction can be passed over in alternating fashion. At least one pressurizing medium channel is provided which, on one hand, opens out in the reversing surface and, on the other, into a pressurizing medium trough of the piston engine.

A piston pump includes a ported member that is moveably disposed within an internal space of a housing between a rotating group and the housing. The ported member includes a first face facing the rotating group and a second face facing a fluid inlet and outlet. The ported member includes an intake port and a discharge port. Moreover, the ported member includes a balance aperture configured to pass fluid between the biasing member and a pump chamber as the rotating group rotates within the internal space such that the biasing member biases the ported member toward a balanced position within the internal space. The balance aperture has a rim at the first face. The rim is clefted at a relief feature of the first face. The relief feature is recessed into the first face.

An inlet baffle chamber (40) is provided in the port cover (26) of a piston pump. The inlet baffle chamber (26) fluidly connects a compressed piston chamber to an adjacent lower pressure piston chamber while the lower pressure piston chamber is in the suction cycle and separately receiving fluid from an inlet manifold (38) of the port cover (26). Instead of de-compressing high pressure fluid directly to pump's inlet (36) as in prior art pumps, the inlet baffle chamber (40) directs fluid to the next piston that is already in the suction cycle.

An inlet baffle chamber (40) is provided in the port cover (26) of a piston pump. The inlet baffle chamber (26) fluidly connects a compressed piston chamber to an adjacent lower pressure piston chamber while the lower pressure piston chamber is in the suction cycle and separately receiving fluid from an inlet manifold (38) of the port cover (26). Instead of de-compressing high pressure fluid directly to pump's inlet (36) as in prior art pumps, the inlet baffle chamber (40) directs fluid to the next piston that is already in the suction cycle.

A hydraulic machine includes a housing interior space and a group of hydrostatic working chambers which are mounted in said housing interior space so as to be rotatable about an axis of rotation and which, as the group rotates, are connectable alternately to a high pressure and to a low pressure of the hydraulic machine and exhibit leakage into the housing interior space. A heat exchanger device is accommodated in the housing interior space. The hydraulic machine may be associated with a hydraulic assembly and a hydraulic axle.

Fluid pressure pump

Ports (11 and 12) are formed in a port plate (10). A plurality of valve plate holes are arranged on a circumference around the rotation axis (S). The port plate (10) includes a plurality of bridges (13) configured to divide the port (11) into a circumferential direction to provide a plurality of port holes (11a), and a plurality of bridges (14) configured to divide the port (12) into the circumferential direction to provide a plurality of port holes (12a). A summation of the number of port holes (11a) and the number of port holes (12a) is greater than the number of valve plate holes.

Fluid pressure pump

Ports (11 and 12) are formed in a port plate (10). A plurality of valve plate holes are arranged on a circumference around the rotation axis (S). The port plate (10) includes a plurality of bridges (13) configured to divide the port (11) into a circumferential direction to provide a plurality of port holes (11a), and a plurality of bridges (14) configured to divide the port (12) into the circumferential direction to provide a plurality of port holes (12a). A summation of the number of port holes (11a) and the number of port holes (12a) is greater than the number of valve plate holes.

The invention relates to a hydraulic pump wherein a barrel is in sliding connection with a shaft and is driven in rotation by the shaft. A housing is formed in the barrel, the shaft sliding in the housing while projecting from the front face of the barrel. The housing and the shaft defining between them a balancing chamber, the balancing chamber being connected to a delivery aperture in such a way that fluid in the balancing chamber exerts a compressive force on the barrel which tends to press the barrel against a port plate.
