Disclosed is a device for fastening together two components to be joined, the device including a connection rod including two ends, a first end being fastened to a first component, the second end extending through the second component, the second end being having a bearing surface. This device is characterized in that it includes a clamping wedge which is associated with the second component and which is movable relative to the second component along an axis which is not parallel with the longitudinal axis of the connection rod and which is provided in an inclined plane, the wedge being interposed between the bearing surface of the second end of the connection rod and the surface of the second component so that, during its movement, the wedge, by way of its inclined plane, applies an axial constraint to the connection rod and ensures that the two components are fastened together.

The projecting arm is spaceable apart from the body wall. The outer bracket has a spanning wall with inner and outer sides. An outer end wall extends from the outer side. The spanning wall is slidably positionable between the body wall of the base bracket member and the at least one clip member, to sandwich the same. A joiner clip for use in a spacer frame assembly and method of assembly are disclosed herein. The joiner clip includes first and second arms coupled to and extending away from a body, the first and second arms comprising mirror images of each other across a first mirror image axis. The first and second arms are housed within a first channel end of a linear spacer frame when assembled. The joiner clip further includes third and fourth arms coupled to and extending away from the body and away from the first and second arms, the third and fourth arms comprising mirror images of each other across the first mirror image axis. The third and fourth arms are housed within an opposite frame end of the linear spacer frame when assembled. When assembled, the body spaces the first channel end from the opposite frame end.

A framing system includes a first connection assembly that engages with a substrate. The first connection assembly includes a first connector and a track. At least one spring flange defined by the first connector engages with a fastener positioned along the substrate to maintain the first connection assembly in a fixed position relative to the substrate and to interconnect the substrate with the track. The framing system further includes a second connection assembly defining a second connector engaged to a stud. The second connection assembly engages with the first connection assembly to interconnect the stud with the track.

An apparatus for supporting one or more pipes is disclosed. The apparatus includes a first tower, a second tower, and each tower includes four vertical columns, and a first set of horizontal beams. Each beam is configured to span and connect two of the vertical columns via biaxial moment connecting collars. The towers are aligned to support a first pipe on beams from both towers along a primary pipe support axis, and none of the columns in the first tower is connected to a column of the second tower by a biaxial moment connecting collar.

The plug bracket portion is configured to rotate up and down to adjust a use angle, the two cooperate with a locking structure, the locking structure comprises a first component and a second component, the first component is connected to the base, the second component is disposed on the plug bracket portion, the first component is disposed with first teeth, the second component is disposed with second teeth, and the first teeth are engaged with the second teeth. When the plug bracket portion rotates upward or downward, the first teeth of the first component are disengaged from the second teeth of the second component. When the plug bracket portion stops rotating, the first teeth and the second teeth reset to an engaged state.

The present application provides a mechanical connector adapted for coupling to a mating element, as part of muntin clip or a two part connector. The mechanical connector includes a body having at least one surface adapted for engaging a reciprocal surface of the mating element, wherein the at least one surface of the body of the mechanical connector slides across and frictionally engages the reciprocal surface of the mating element across a predefined distance during the coupling and decoupling of the mechanical connector relative to the mating element. The mechanical connector further includes one or more protruding elements, coupled to the at least one surface of the body of the mechanical connector, which extend in a direction toward the reciprocal surface of the mating element during engagement of the at least one surface of the mechanical connector with the reciprocal surface of the mating element, where the protruding elements is attached to the at least one surface at a first end of the protruding element and being free at the second end of the protruding element, and where the protruding element can separately flex along the length of the protruding element toward each of multiple directions including opposite directions. When the mechanical connector engages and slides relative to the mating element, the one or more protrusions are caused to flex in a direction that is substantially opposite a direction of the movement of the mechanical connector relative to the mating element along at least a portion of the predefined distance.

Embodiments of the present disclosure provide for weight measurement of grow towers and/or grow lines with grow towers disposed thereon. In various embodiments, compression type, tension type, and/or beam type load cells may be positioned at various locations within the apparatus to facilitate weight measurement. In one embodiment, a hook, which couples a grow tower to a grow line, includes a tension type load cell disposed between two portions of the hook. The load cell measures force applied thereto which can provide or be translated into a weight measurement.
