Expansion anchor with different expansion angles
An expansion anchor includes an anchor bolt and an expansion sleeve which surrounds the anchor bolt. The expansion sleeve has an expansion tongue and an anchor tongue and the anchor bolt has a backward-pointing expansion slope for radially displacing the expansion tongue and a backward-pointing anchor slope for radially displacing the anchor tongue. The backward-pointing anchor slope extends more steeply than the backward-pointing expansion slope at least in some regions.
Contactless optical fiber internet customer premises installation
A method and apparatus for contactless installation of an optical fiber internet connection at a customer premises is provided, wherein the customer is provided with an interior installation kit and is guided by an installation technician. The customer remains inside the premises, selects an entry point for the fiber, and indicates the entry point to the technician using a remote detection target. The technician locates the detection target, bores a hole into the premises, passes an optical fiber in to the customer, and the customer secures an attachment mount to the interior wall of the premises to receive the optical fiber and upon which to connect and mount an optical network terminal. After the optical fiber has been connected, the customer network is activated, and the technician seals the external hole.
Expansion anchor with a nonaxisymmetric recess
An expansion anchor having an anchor bolt, an expansion sleeve surrounding the anchor bolt, and an expansion body located in a front region of the anchor bolt, wherein the expansion body has a converging zone for expanding the expansion sleeve, and wherein the expansion body is provided with at least one expansion body recess. The at least one expansion body recess is delimited by an expansion sleeve abutment wall, and the at least one expansion body recess has a nonaxisymmetric cross-section.
Adapted grout delivery sleeve
A rock anchor assembly includes: a tubular sleeve between first and second ends, having an anchor retaining portion opening on the second end; a rock anchor with an elongate body extending between distal and proximal ends, received in the tubular sleeve with the proximal and distal ends of the body projecting from the first and second ends respectively of the sleeve; a tensioning and locking assemblage on the anchor body between the proximal end and the first end of the sleeve, a forward part being engageable with the first end of the sleeve; and a mechanical anchor engaged to the anchor body at the distal end which, from an unexpanded configuration, expands radially to an expanded configuration. The anchor retaining portion at least partially retains the mechanical anchor in the unexpanded configuration. The anchor retaining portion expands circumferentially to accommodate retracted ingress of the anchor in the expanded configuration.
Safety fence assembly
A modular safety fence assembly is disclosed. The safety fence may include a fence panel assembly having a top rail, a bottom rail, and mesh panel. The safety fence panel assembly may also support post assembly capable of supporting the fence panel assembly and an anchor assembly which may anchor the support post assembly to the floor using one or more relatively shallow holes formed in the floor.
Expansion anchor with protected optical code
An expansion anchor includes an anchor bolt with a rear face, a displaceable body located adjacent to the anchor bolt, and at least one wedge body located in a front region of the anchor bolt. The wedge body has a converging zone for displacing the displaceable body. An optically readable code is located at the rear face of the anchor bolt. At least one code protection protrusion projects from the anchor bolt rearwardly beyond the optically readable code.
Expansion bolt and pivot and swivel mechanism therefor
An expansion bolt and pivot and swivel mechanism therefor. The expansion bolt may have a base and a plurality of radially spreadable elongate elastic members cantileveredly projecting from the base at respective points of joinder to the base and terminating in respective spoons at respective points of joinder of the spoons, wherein the elongate elastic members have respective radially defined thicknesses at the points of joinder to the base that are substantially less than the corresponding thicknesses of the base, and respective radially defined thicknesses at the points of joinder of the spoons that are substantially less than the corresponding thicknesses of the spoons. The pivot and swivel mechanism may have a ring element that includes two spaced apart leg members having foot portions that turn to extend toward each other, the foot portions having respective, spaced-apart relatively enlarged ends; a swivel housing element having an open end for receiving and at least partially containing the ends of the foot portions so that the ring element can be substantially freely rotated about a pivot axis; and a capping element adapted for interlocking with the open end of the swivel housing element, the capping element having a bottom surface portion of radial symmetry about a swivel axis that is distinct from the pivot axis.
Anchoring Device
A measuring device for a fastening device includes a base body, a sensor unit configured to detect at least one fastening variable, and an interface connected to the sensor unit and configured to provide the detected at least one fastening variable to an external reading device. The interface is electrically connectable to a wireless communication unit or directly connectable to the external reading device.
