Systems and methods for transporting fuel and carbon dioxide in a dual fluid vessel
Embodiments of systems and methods for transporting fuel and carbon dioxide (CO.sub.2) in a dual-fluid vessel thereby minimizing transportation between locations are disclosed. In an embodiment, the dual-fluid vessel has an outer shell with two or more inner compartments, positioned within the outer shell, including a first inner compartment for storing CO.sub.2 and a second inner compartment for storing fuel. The dual-fluid vessel may connect or attach to a transportation vehicle to thereby allow transportation of the fuel and CO.sub.2. Insulation may provide temperature regulation for the fuel and CO.sub.2 when positioned in the respective first and second inner compartments. One or more ports having an opening in and through the outer shell and a fluid pathway to one or more of the first inner compartment or the second inner compartment may provide fluid communication through the opening and fluid pathway for loading/offloading the fuel and/or CO.sub.2.
Container Systems and Methods for Using the Same
Container systems for the transportation and/or storage of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) are provided. The container systems include: a) an outer shell; b) an inner pressurized container, wherein the inner pressurized container comprises a first chamber having a first vent and at least one other chamber having a second vent; c) at least one heat exchange zone in thermal communication between the first chamber and the at least one other chamber; and d) an interstitial space between the outer shell and the inner pressurized container including at least a partial vacuum. Methods for transporting and/or storing LNG using the aforementioned container systems are also provided.

LONG HEAT PATH SUPPORT STRUCTURE
Storage systems and methods of manufacturing and using the same. A storage tank is provided with an inner vessel, an outer vessel, and a support system between the vessels. The support system may comprise a repeating pattern of openings that effectively lengthens the heat path between the inner and outer vessels.
PROCESS FOR PREPARING A BLOCK OF POLYURETHANE/POLYISOCYANURATE FOAM OF A SLAB FOR HEAT-INSULATING A TANK
The present invention relates to a preparation of a block of fiber-reinforced polyurethane/polyisocyanurate foam in which the expansion of the foam is constrained by the walls of a double belt laminator forming a tunnel, the block of fiber-reinforced polyurethane/polyisocyanurate foam being composed of cells storing a gas, advantageously having low thermal conductivity, and exhibiting a density of less than 50 kg.m.sup.−3 with a content of fibers C.sub.f representing at least 4% by weight of the block of fiber-reinforced foam, in which the impregnation time of the fibers t.sub.i is less than the cream time t.sub.c of the polyurethane/polyisocyanurate foam.

The invention relates to a sealed tank wall used to form a sealed tank for storing a fluid, the wall comprising: a flat frame (3) including a perimeter (4) and longitudinal stiffening members (5) arranged inside the perimeter (4) in a longitudinal direction such that each longitudinal stiffening member extends from one side of the perimeter (4) to an opposite side of the perimeter (4), the perimeter (4) and the longitudinal stiffening members (5) being designed to form openings in the frame (3), lobed walls fastened to the frame (3) by welding about said openings to close said openings, such as to project into a thickness direction orthogonal to the frame (3) and towards the outside of the tank to be formed.
