Face shield
A face shield for covering the eyes, nose and mouth of a user is disclosed. The face shield includes a face shield body that has a transparent surface having a first side edge, a second side edge, and a top edge. The first and second side edges include a first and a second anchor/barb, respectively, both of which define a line. A spacer is attached at or near the line, and the spacer extends away from the face shield body. An elastic strap with a first slot and a second slot receives the first and second anchor/barbs. When the user wears the face shield, the elastic strap is in a stretched configuration that pulls on the first and second anchor/barbs, and in this configuration the first slot is detachably affixed to the first anchor/barb, and the second slot is detachably affixed to the second anchor/barb.
Illuminating face protection device
An illuminating face protection device, including a main body to be worn on a head of a user and protect a face of the user, a top illuminating unit disposed on at least a portion of the main body to emit a first beam of light and illuminate a surrounding area, a first side illuminating unit disposed on at least a portion of the main body to emit a second beam of light and illuminate the surrounding area, and a second side illuminating unit disposed on at least a portion of the main body to emit a third beam of light and illuminate the surrounding area.
FACE SHIELD FOR COVERING FACIAL REGION OF SUBJECT
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a face shield for covering a facial region of a subject. The face shield includes a headband to be worn on a head of the subject. The face shield includes a face protector connectable to the headband for covering the facial region of the subject, wherein the face protector including a foldable structure having a plurality of layers. The plurality of layers of the foldable structure are held together for providing multiple layers of coverage for the facial region of the subject.
PERSONAL RESPIRATORY ISOLATION SYSTEM
A personal respiratory isolation system (PRIS) provides a personal, negative pressure environment for a patient or user that reduces contamination and spread of pathogens exhaled by the patient into the environment. The PRIS includes an enclosure to receive the patient's head (such as a hood and a drape) and a negative pressure source which draws ambient air into the interior of the enclosure and draws air within the enclosure's interior (including the exhalations of the patient, including any contaminants and/or pathogens) out of the enclosure via a fluid port into a container for biohazard processing or disposal. The PRIS may allow positive air pressure therapeutic treatments to be delivered to the patient within the negative pressure environment, and the PRIS may maintain a constant pressure within the interior of the enclosure. The PRIS may include a transparent, hinged face shield for ease of patient observation and/or access.
COMPLETE FACE SHIELD
An illustrated view of an exemplary Complete Face Shield (or CFS 100) device for protecting people from spreading infectious diseases is presented. The CFS-100 device is useful for covering the complete face area of a person. The CFS-100 device is developed to protect a person from microscopic virus and/or bacteria in the air, is presented. The CFS-100 device is useful for providing an impervious protective layer for an entirety of a face of a person. The CFS-100 device is useful for preventing droplets in the air from contacting eyes, nose, ears, and mouth area of the person wearing this CFS-100 device and offers protection against contaminating other persons. Furthermore, the CFS-100 device provides an enhanced level of protection compared to typical face masks/shields/coverings that are available currently.
Veil Hat Shield
A hat or other article of apparel worn on the head having a brim which includes a transparent, impermeable veil hanging down from the brim on all sides such that the veil surrounds the head, face, neck and upper shoulder region of the wearer. As such, the present invention may prevent the spread of any droplets between inside and outside of the veil's covered area, instead causing droplets to drop down to the ground.
Low haze UV blocking removable lens stack
A protective lens stack comprises a base layer including a polyethylene terephthalate (PET) film containing a UV blocking additive and one or more removable lens layers stacked on top of the base layer. Each of the removable lens layers may include a PET film and a first adhesive disposed on a bottom surface of the PET film. Refractive indices of the base layer and the one or more removable lens layers may be matched to within 0.2. Each layer of the protective lens stack, including the base layer and each of the removable lens layer(s), may have less than 0.5% haze. The protective lens stack may be used as a face shield or may be surface mountable using a second adhesive disposed on a bottom surface of the PET film containing the UV blocking additive.
Veilla Mask
An article of manufacture for providing a combination personal protection device including a mask, a shield, and a veil is disclosed. The personal protection device includes a mask, a veil having a face opening and a pair of ear openings, a face shield having a mouth opening, a mouth flap configured to removably cover the mouth opening, a headband having an inner band coupled to the veil and an outer band coupled to the face shield. a crown support cap coupled to a top edge of the veil, and a crown air filter and a pair of ear air filters.
PPE with rotating assembly providing multiple face covers
A personal protective device (PPE) including a face cover assembly and a bodysuit configured to be worn by a human user. The device protects users against airborne aerosol particles containing viruses or other infectious agents while enabling improved flexibility relative to prior art designs. The device includes a helmet-like” rotating face cover assembly that fits over the user's head and attaches to a collar on the biohazard bodysuit. This rotating face cover assembly has a plurality of different mask sides, each with differing geometries or other properties. The device enables a user to rotate (either manually or by electric motor) the masks and select a given mask side that best meets that user's needs. The different mask sides can accommodate different facial geometries, eyewear types, and use cases, such as operation in more hostile environments. Features to improve user comfort, including alternate bodysuit designs, moisture reduction, and cooling are disclosed.
FACE MASK AND SHIELD COMBINATION
A wearable face covering may include a mask including a filter and a cap, wherein the cap is configured to prevent any gas passing through the filter in a first direction from exiting the mask in the first direction; and a face shield including a partially-transparent screen, wherein the face shield is pivotally coupled to the mask.
