A system configured to, and method of, transmitting connected vehicle data from a vehicle that includes carrying out a point of rest area learning process to obtain point of rest area(s); periodically obtaining a current geographical location of the vehicle; determining whether the vehicle is located within any of the point of rest area(s) based on the obtained geographical location; when it is determined that the vehicle is not located within any of the point of rest area(s), periodically transmitting the obtained geographical location; and when it is determined that the vehicle is located within any of the point of rest area(s), either transmitting an obfuscated geographical location or forgoing transmission of the obtained geographical location, wherein the obfuscated geographical location is an obfuscated representation of the obtained geographical location.

The various systems and methods disclosed herein provide for a secure, cost effective, and high accuracy location detection. In some embodiments of the system and method for high accuracy location detection, a mobile location device obtains and calculates location data from a plurality of sources without requiring expensive and power inefficient processors. In some embodiments, such secure, cost effective, and high accuracy location detection by the mobile location device is used in improved parking and payment management systems and methods. Rideshare verification
Illustrative methods and systems may determine whether a rideshare is verified based on received rideshare data. A verification code may be assigned to a rideshare trip. The verification code may be provided to a rider of the rideshare trip. The verification code may be received by a vehicle device assigned to the rideshare trip via user input or communication from the rider device. Whether the rider has entered the correct vehicle for the rideshare trip may be verified based on the verification code assigned to the rideshare trip and the verification code received by the rideshare vehicle.

For example, the novel, hand-held navigation disruption devices described herein (1) generate signals from a simulated satellite constellation, wherein the signals from the simulated satellite constellation conflict/compete with signals from one or more actual satellite constellations, and (2) transmit the signals from the simulated satellite constellation(s) towards an unmanned vehicle. The signals from the simulated satellite constellation(s) cause the unmanned vehicle to compute an incorrect position, which in turn disrupts its ability to navigate and operate effectively.
